View Full Details of Solihull Care LtdWe are very happy with the service supplied by Solihull Home Care. It is a very professional and well-run service. The most important initial request we asked was consistency of staff. This was recognised and has always happened which makes such a difference to mom. She has become familiar with the lovely ladies who visit. They are always friendly, kind and understanding. They often go above and beyond reporting on a concern they have noticed. The app is excellent and very useful for tracking visits. We really appreciate the flexibility offered too which fits around the care we offer mom as a family. I would have no hesitation in recommending Solihull Home Care to everyone.
We are very happy with the service we receive from Solihull Care Ltd. All the carers are very caring and friendly and conduct themselves in a professional manner. We have used this company for several years and would have no hesitation in recommending them to other clients.
We have been using Solihull Care for over 2 years and I have nothing but praise for the professionalism and care shown to my mom who has severe dementia. Her wish has always been to stay in her own home and I believe without the care provided by this team we would have had no choice but to go against her wishes. As it is the carers give superb individualised care and treat my mom with respect promoting independence where possible. As a nurse by profession, I can recognise quality care and I have never once questioned their actions. My mom is beautifully clean and always dressed every day. I get a report on my phone after each visit (x 4 a day) and any concerns picked up by the carers are immediately passed to management who contact me. Calls are generally always on time and the carers stay for their allocated time. I really cannot underline how pleased I am with this company and would highly recommend them if you are looking for holistic, quality care for your loved ones.
My family and I are very pleased with the service provided. My elderly mother suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia. She can be difficult at times but care team are always kind & respectful. They always find time to stay & have a chat with her.
Excellent care, specific to my cousin's needs and willing to review it if it needs changing. Able to give suggestions of other ways of solving a problem. Able to add me to the care app used for each call so we/they can raise any worries immediately. I am able to contact them in office hours via the phone or email and replies are always quick.
Solihull Care Ltd have provided high-quality care and support for my brother-in-law for the past 6 months. He has benefitted enormously from the support with personal care, diet, medication, companionship, housework etc. The support workers are very caring and helpful, They always update us as to any changes. The communication system that can be accessed easily via mobile for every call is very reassuring for the family. I would highly recommend Solihull Care Ltd They have made such a positive improvement to my brother-in-law's well-being and reduced a lot of stress for the family.
Solihull Care has made my life 1000 times easier! I was hesitant at first to begin receiving home care, but the staff have made it an easy transition. They are so friendly and helpful that it genuinely just feels like friends are popping in quickly to help me out. Timings are not rigid and do not dictate my life which is what I was most worried about, they are happy to accommodate your needs which is perfect for me. I would absolutely recommend and rate the staff at Solihull Care!
We are very pleased with the majority of carers. Most keep us informed of my husband’s condition and any steps we may need to take to inform other agencies, district nurses etc. They are pleasant and friendly as well as caring and professional. We are happy to welcome them into our home. We are concerned about the number of carers as we have difficulty remembering them all and getting to know them.
We are very happy with the majority of the carers. They are very caring, looking after our mum the best they can. We are very lucky. Appreciate all the support and help they give to our mum. We thank you for all the support they give. Would be lost without them.
I have been using Solihull Care for three years now, and I find most of their staff are ok - some never talk and rush. I have another agency, but Solihull Care is quite shocking at timekeeping.
Good overall service.
All carers are polite and caring with pleasant manners. Treated with dignity.
On the whole, the carers are good, some better than others. Some will do things automatically without being asked and go beyond their remit, and others will only do the basic tasks and will not stay the full half an hour. My main grumble is with management. The times of arrival are sometimes rather erratic. I know carers are in short supply at the moment, but I would appreciate a more definite time of arrival so that I can prepare my meal.
All the carers who care for my husband treat him with respect. They listen to what he wants to do and keep him busy and interested. They cope with him well when he demands to go to work and do their best to distract him. He engaged well with all the carers. They also give me support during this difficult time. I can leave them with my husband and either go out or get on with jobs with confidence. They all treat our home with respect.
