My brother has special needs around social impairments and cognition. He has been living independently for years and due to a change of physical needs now requires more support in his own home. St Margaret's provided first-class support from day 1. Staff coming in are truly caring and professional. As I do not live locally but have a legal responsibility for my brother I have interacted with St Margaret's office quite frequently during this transition period in order to coordinate on practical aspects including medication. St Margaret's staff support trips out for appointments or for a change of scene which is a great help to my brother. This has all gone smoothly and a few hiccups have quickly been sorted. St Margaret's has shown they can really work as a team with the family, some of the office staff get involved in visits so they understand and have insight into my brother's needs and abilities. It is reassuring that I can use the portal to see how visits have gone.

St Margaret's have supported my parents over the past 4 years. Initially, they provided care for my mother who suffered with Dementia, and more recently they have cared for my elderly father, allowing both of my parents to live in their own home for much longer than they otherwise could have managed. At all times we found the Care team to be professional, friendly, flexible, caring, and respectful of my parent's individual needs. They also reacted quickly in emergency situations. They built good relationships with both my parents and the wider family. I am happy to recommend St Margaret's to others looking for quality home care.

Our second experience with St Margaret's as a family, this time for my grandma (previously had cared for my grandpa) and cannot recommend them enough. Grandma genuinely looked forward to the team coming, her carer especially. The team helped to put our minds at ease knowing that Grandma was being supported by genuinely kind and caring people, who ensured her dignity was maintained as her needs changed. We had a fantastic experience for both of my grandparents and I would not hesitate to recommend St Margaret's to anybody.

St Margaret’s provides a fabulous service. All the team members are completely focused during their visits - always professional and efficient but, importantly, always balanced with genuine warmth and care. Nothing is too much trouble and every regular task is always completed and recorded for family reassurance! Communication across the board is excellent. Thank you!

The St Margaret's team have been so supportive of my Mother. She sadly had a bad fall in December 2024. St Margarets came to support my sisters and me, with continuing care for Mum in her Flat in Harrogate. Morning and evening, 7 days per week, the St Margarets Team were so helpful and kind, administering medicines and eye drops and helping with exercises, for both cognitive and movement. The friendly staff made the meetings, enjoyable, and constructive for her recovery, as well as helpful, for Mum and ourselves. We cannot praise them highly enough. A huge thank you for all that you have done. We would all be very happy to recommend you to others.

St Margaret's Homecare was quick to provide twice-daily visits to administer eye medication for Mum after she had a stroke. Visits were regular and at times, given by compassionate, friendly, professional carers. Mum was helped with a variety of home tasks and rehabilitation exercises. Staff coped with family being around more than expected. Mum has now moved, we would be happy to use St Margaret's Homecare services again and would recommend to others.

We approached St Margaret's Homecare when we moved Mum to live near us in Harrogate almost 3 years ago. From the initial meeting, we found both the management team and the team of caregivers to be friendly, professional, approachable, empathetic and caring. Everyone has gone above and beyond to provide care of an excellent standard to Mum and we are all very grateful. The attention to detail with regards to person-centred care is second to none. Thank you for all that you do and all you have done.

St Margaret's have been helping my mum and dad daily with washing and dressing and some other household tasks over a period of several weeks now after both had falls and broke bones. We just couldn't provide the amount of care needed on our own so approached St Margaret's for help as they had been personally recommended to us. We've met the carers at various times and without exception, they have all been really friendly, professional, helpful, and efficient, as have their management team. We're really pleased with them and I would have no hesitation in using their service again and recommending them to others.

Our experience with St Margaret's Homecare has been excellent. Communication with the team has always been quick and effective with prompt responses to any contact from us. All the carers have been lovely with my mum and have treated her with respect and dignity. We have really appreciated the attention to detail paid to the small tasks like making the bed neatly, emptying bins and washing up to keep Mum's home clean and tidy when she is no longer able to do these jobs herself. We have been delighted with the service provided by St Margaret's Homecare and we would definitely recommend St Margaret's to anyone else looking for carers for a relative.

I was caring for my wife at home when I had to go into hospital a couple of times. Our daughter was able to come and help us for a couple of weeks but she found St Margaret's Homecare carers to come and fill the gap, which they have done very well. We have a carer coming in four times a week and they are very good in arriving on time and helping us with showering and general household tasks.

My mother, at nearly 92, had a bad fall and, on coming out of hospital, was not in a fit state to look after herself. The state had let us down. But we knew of St Margaret’s, who were able to help us immediately to provide the broad range of care needed. Right from the start, the whole thing was carried out professionally but also sensitively. The staff are very professional but also very friendly. The later really is a big part of the recovery process and life for my mum becoming stable and enjoyable again. The use of the care management app allows me to see what going on beyond my regular calls and gives me and my family peace of mind and confidence for the future.

My mum has dementia and lives at home with me and my husband. We receive two daily calls to check on my mum and give me a break in the day. We sometimes have more calls if we need them. St Margaret’s are always professional and caring in the service they provide. They accommodate us the best we could expect and are always on hand. The app system they use for keeping track of Mum's care is fantastic. We can log in and check Mum's notes and how things are going. St Margaret’s has made this testing life change much easier than expected.

We chose St Margaret's Homecare to look after my father-in-law. They came highly recommended. We previously used another team, who constantly let us down, missed calls late calls repeatedly, and the lack of care really upset my father-in-law and the lack of respect and dignity towards him. I called St Margaret's and spoke to the manager, who basically put a team in place within the day. They came, did a full assessment of his needs, assessment of his mobility, and went through all his medical history and medication needs, so through, they basically spent the morning with us. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the carers. They always informed us of any changes. We sadly had to move him into full-time care after he suffered a stroke; the team were just brilliant. I got to know all the staff. I would not hesitate to use them again for any family member. If I see anyone from the team or the manager, they genuinely ask after him. Five-star team. Thank you all.

On the whole, my experience has been favourable. I receive good care, and all my needs are being met. I have good communication with the office, and they generally accommodate any requests. I can say, I am very happy with St Margaret's, the carers and the level of care I receive. I only have one small issue, which I shall direct to the complaints procedure as requested in these review instructions.
