View Full Details of Supreme Care Services Ltd - MordenNot turning up at all for day or turning up late for early morning calls and my mum left in a wet bed. Lying on the time sheet. Overall not at all pleased with the service and why are they putting carers with people that live a long way from them.
I switched care agencies as my old company was unable to accommodate early hospital visits. The company made no effort to contact me prior to taking over my care. I called them 3 days beforehand to introduce myself, and give them details relating to my care. The carer didn't arrive at the specified time. After my breakfast visit, no lunch visit was attempted and I wasn't advised until after that the company were in fact handing back the care package. Things that were agreed to in the package were not carried out. Management in the Croydon branch does not call back when they say they will. Communication internally appears to be lacking as important details were not passed on to carers. I do not recommend anyone to go forward with using this company.
I have given this company one star as there is no availability to give a zero. My mother was under the care of Supreme Care for a number of months. During this time, the carers arrived hours later than their recommended time. They issued medication to her, leaving it in egg cups or on slices of bread. This was never recorded in the log. My mum had dementia and could have thrown tablets away. On Saturday 4/9/21 I was not scheduled to visit my mum. The carer should have been there at 8am. I had been trying to call my mum from about 8:30, but I couldn't get her. I went to check she was OK at 9:30 and found her on the floor at the side of her bed. The carer did not turn up until 10:08. On the 5/9/21 I was due to take her to the hospital for a routine check-up and when I went to collect her at 11:30 I found her tablets on half a slice of bread by the side of her bed. This would have been her morning medication. This is not acceptable practice. Do not use this company!
Don't use this company. I have waited to write this review as we have been fighting with social services due to the service my nan received. They were arriving 2-3 hours late to calls regularly, staying for less time than they should, completing the book in the morning for the full day, and not leaving notes. They were leaving her tablets in egg cups or on bread and not writing it in the books. When asked to provide evidence by social services they stated the logs were lost. One of the coordinators is disgustingly rude. They made up lies stating that we as a family didn’t call to declare my nan's death which is a lie. We lost my nan in September. Safeguarding claim that it was not due to Supreme homecare, however it is important to note that the medication being left in egg cups or on bread were infact the medication for her heart and COPD, which is what my nan passed away from.
