View Full Details of Home Instead (Warrington)Our mum sadly passed away this morning. I just want to thank the team of carers that have looked after her over the past months and the special care she received over the last 3 weeks. I don't know what we would have done without. The care and dignity you showed her was truly amazing. We thank you all from the bottom of hearts.
Feeling apprehensive about having strangers come to the house changed after the first visit. Lovely people! Love their job. They felt like family, up to 2/3 visits. I would recommend Home Instead with a star rating. I feel I want to stay in touch as they have become so much part of our lives.
When Dad came out of hospital 18 months ago and Mum had gone to a care home, he was quite lost. We arranged for carers to do his tea every evening from Monday to Friday and they have been true lifesavers. They sit and chat, do light cleaning, put the washer on as well as doing Dad's tea and a hot drink. He loves their company, they've got to know him well by now and the feedback we get from every visit lets us know how Dad has been that day. They were fabulous when Mum passed away and helped Dad cope when we couldn't be there. Fantastic.
Professional, caring, compassionate - these words and others are what I would use to describe the care provided. You supported my aunt when she needed it. What you don't realise is the support you have given me! Without you all, I couldn't do it, and my aunt would be in a home. Thank you.
Home Instead has been an invaluable service for my mum, helping with general chores, personal care, food preparation and general company. The two ladies who came regularly were lovely. Thanks for everything.
We changed Mum's care company to Home Instead after a poor experience with a care company, allocated by social services. Since changing to Home Instead the difference is amazing. Mum is a lot happier, the house is cleaner and I feel 100% more settled within myself as I know Mum is in safe hands now. All the staff are so kind and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead.
I have been extremely happy with all the carers, always prompt, friendly and have made the experience easy to get used to. As I have used the system to recuperate from an operation and my health is back to normal now.
From the moment we first made contact with Home Instead they have been professional and caring. When your family is in a vulnerable position for the first time, it is difficult to know who to trust with the people you love most in the world. The Home Instead team treated us all with respect and dignity from day 1, and the carers have been exceptional. We have been guided and supported and could not have asked for better support. Thank you.
Excellent from start to finish. Very friendly and extremely professional.
Professional, flexible and caring. At least two of the carers have become personal friends.
It has been a pleasure to deal with Home Instead over the last two years, firstly with my father and my mother. I have nothing but praise for the staff that were involved in caring for my mum and dad in every way on a daily basis. If you need care for family members I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead (Warrington).
Really pleased overall with the care provided to my dad from October 2022 to August 2023. Dad loves the company and the laughs. All requests were sorted for us without any problems.
My bestie in the last few months of her life needed a companionable, emotionally supportive team to help her at home before hospice care. What Home Instead (Warrington) achieved was remarkable, she was able to live at home with confidence and looked forward to each visit making new friends as well as being able to trust each one with the most personal of care. There are only positive words to describe every part of the service provided and we her three closest friends, looking after her wellbeing, cannot thank you enough.
The Home Instead team have been supporting my parents and our family for 9 years and the quality of support, advice and guidance has always been of the highest standard. The level of detail provided and the communication channels are very supportive to my family and me. The individual care, support and friendship provided by the caregivers is excellent and has ensured my life, and that of my family is also supported. The caregivers feel like part of the extended family, such is the wonderful relationship they have with my mother. When my father passed away in 2019, the support for the family was tremendous. I find the immediate feedback from the team on issues such as planning issues or finance related queries, is so important and nothing is too much trouble for the team to deal with. Many thanks to everyone for your support which is invaluable!
Home Instead started looking after my parents until they were both admitted into care - over the time period they cared for my parents, they were professional, extremely caring and left them both with their dignity. I would 100% recommend Home Instead -they made my mum and dad's remaining time in their home happy and content. Thank you very much.
Amazing. Lovely staff, who routinely went above and beyond to take care of my parents over the two years plus of looking after them. They took the worst of the worry out of the situation and provided vital company, care and support through the heart of the pandemic and enabled my parents to stay at home for far longer than would have been the case. They were invaluable at a difficult time, and I'm really grateful to them for all the hard work they put in.
Service was very prompt and efficient, easy to contact and kept us up to date with any concerns. Staff very friendly and approachable.
My aunt passed away on August 21st 2022. The carers have been involved with her for over five years, visiting four times a day latterly. We simply could not have managed without Home Instead, and to know that someone was visiting for an hour each visit gave us peace of mind! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!
My mother had plenty of falls and she was obviously very ill and needed nursing care. The day before she when into a nursing home her carer found her on the floor and she did not know what had happened. Six weeks later she was rushed into hospital with a cough and died three days later with a blocked artery in her heart. Your carers are wonderful, but it is extremely hard to work with giving two weeks' notice when it could be a day out or for a hospital appointment. I think that the charge for the two weeks' notice is very severe and unreasonable as we also had to pay for six weeks nursing care causing the family some distress.
Although our time with Home Instead was cut short by my mother's death, I felt that our carer was more than a carer to my mother. She treated me respectfully, tenderly and with a sense of humour.
