View Full Details of All Care - SouthamptonThe Tuesday take a break has improved times are better and I feel benefit now as I have to also care for my son on Thursdays.
Very satisfied mostly but would like to be informed when times are changed.
Satisfactory.
The carers have been very helpful to my husband. We are pleased with the timings every day. Really no complaints. Hoping this good service continues.
Carers are very helpful, kind and treat my husband as a person, always chatting to him and not at him. Lots of laughter! Very friendly.
All Care carers gave been delightful and friendly and have provided me with good service, with only a few minor problems which could be solved with a phone call.
The carers, on the whole, are excellent but the administration leaves a lot to be desired!
My experience with the care I receive is very good, all the carers are polite and they will do nearly everything you ask them to do.
Very pleased with the service that All Care provide with the Take a break service. As it is a much-needed time off, to spend some 'me time', knowing that Mum is being cared for well.
My mother had been with the agency for over a year, she is bed bound and living at home. The experience we had with the managers from this agency was extremely unhelpful and uncaring. My mother, being incontinent needed regular visits to help keep her clean and minimise damage to her skin. Although the carers themselves were incredibly caring and tried their best the managers thought it was acceptable to leave my mother for approximately 14-15 hours overnight often followed by short gaps during the day. Even though we tried to have the times changed the managers would not budge, they thought it was acceptable to leave her for this length of time. As a result of this she has been left with dreadful sores that are thankfully now healing, this is with proper care from a different agency whose ethos is to care for the patient. I would not recommend this agency due to the lack of empathy and care by the managers.
My mother passed away last month and was a client for over 12 months, so well known to the carers and management. I didn’t hear anything from All Care following Mums passing, which I found rather strange; no card, no call? I sent an email to a couple of the supervisors saying thanks for All Care's support over the last year and that if any of the close carers, would like to attend the funeral, to let me know. I received auto-replies stating “on holiday” and another “out of office” but nothing else. I have some other support issues, which I will not go onto here and will be contacting the Council. I agree the carers do their best but with no allocated travel time, most seem rushed off their feet all time.
All the carers who helped me to look after mum were lovely, caring and considerate people. They treated mum with respect, dignity and talked to her, even when she was soundly asleep. They went above and beyond what was expected and took time to ensure that I was also okay. They were particularly careful with wearing PPE and were always friendly and cheerful, despite the exceptionally long hours they had occasionally worked. I could not fault the care provided.
Thought the care package for my father was to help with all his care needs and to support the family. Wrongly took for granted that all care aspects would be taken care of - had to leave common sense notes everywhere! Carers are given no or little travel time between patients - so as a consequence they cut short visits to provide them with travel time. Management, administration and communication leave a lot to be desired - this area definitely requires improvement and a common-sense approach - in particular remembering there is a human being at the end of the process. Absolutely no compassion by management when end of life occurs. Requested on the day of death that the patient folder is dropped off to their office, no condolence card to the family - aside from the actual carers that do remarkable work - this company (management and administration) needs a shakeup.
My review went very well and I now have a couple of things I now don't have to do. The carers are going to feed my wife some light food at about midday. Also, the morning carers will put my wife's nightwear out ready for when she goes to bed.
A management issue has been resolved satisfactorily and my Mum remains very happy with her care and support received. Our issue was taken seriously, we were listened to, and effort was made to remedy the problem. I am very happy with the way that Senior Manager has handled this and for the recognition given to one of the Carers who has made such a difference to my Mum's quality of life and who first raised the need for a review of services, due to changing support need.
All the carers are excellent.
All carers and staff are very good at what they do.
Very good, like the communication.
Always very helpful and keep me informed of any changes.
Very satisfied.
