View Full Details of Caremark Aylesbury & WycombeSince starting as a client in June have been impressed with the very professional service in all aspects, with excellent carers. This includes both the personal care and the social calls, that allows me to get out and about, since my spinal cord injury.
Good team of carers that work together for the benefit of clients. The carer does not always arrive on time but this is understandable. They cover a large area. I know I can rely on them to come. Always cheerful and only happy to leave when I am satisfied they cannot do anything else for me. My husband is happy. That is my main concern.
I have been using Caremark for almost 11 years and I'm very happy with the service I receive. I don't like having different carers everyday, so they have made sure I have the same carer 6 days a week for my 3 times a day calls. I have personal and domestic care with the same lady.
My most regular carer was so good, kind, caring and worked so hard. Always a pleasure to see her.
Staff are excellent, prompt, kind, very considerate. They use their initiative and go above expectation in their care. They always ask if I need anything and check that I have eaten and am feeling well. I am very impressed with their management is efficient and responsive.
Great service from friendly and very competent providers. I have been using Caremark for several months now ever since my husband, who is also my carer, had to go into hospital and could not continue providing some of my needs. My Caremark carer helps me get up, wash and dress and I can also have a good girls' chat each morning which is a lovely way to start the day.
In general, all the carers are caring and considerate and go about their tasks willingly. I know it is difficult to please everyone but our main issue is with the time slots. Although recovered well, Mum had a broken elbow and although not suffering any pain, it is a bit stiff and finds she needs help dressing/undressing. If the carer doesn't arrive when she wants to get up she struggles to do it on her own.
Caremark has been providing care for just over a year now to my dad, who lives with me at my resident. The main carer is whom my dad communicates with very well and enjoys his visits. They have a good laugh together and even when my dad is not feeling motivated, he still manages to coach him to get out of bed so he can be washed. As I work from home I am also very pleased with the staff's care for my father and his level of communication with myself, letting me know after he has dealt with my father whether he was wobbly or strong on his feet and followed instructions well. We are also happy with another carer but do not have her as often and sometimes Dad finds her a bit loud. We have had a few incidences where when I have had to book additional care it has not gone according to plan and this is usually when the carer I like has not been allocated the additional slots. Nevertheless, we are very happy with the service provided by the carers. Management's communication needs work.
Dad has thrived since having regular care visits. He looks at the carers as friends. The care is efficient and professional, and the company keepS me updated and works with me and the GP to coordinate dad's social and health care.
Excellent team of carers, we are very flexible on timings as try to fit in with their carers. My 97-year-old mother really enjoys seeing her friends, as she calls them! I appreciate good staff are hard to find but these carers really do deserve a medal. Honest and trustworthy and really help with our situation. My advice to any new customers is to be patient and ask what times they have available rather than demand as they are all very busy people. We have several family members helping out too so helps if there are any hiccups.
Thank you to the carers for taking care of our mother. The carers give us the regular assurance that she is well and not requiring any additional assistance which is particularly important when family are unable to go in on a regular basis. If they feel there is a need for medical intervention, they can contact family or arrange for help. It also gives her someone to talk to, even though it is just for a short time which can only add to her general well-being. We would be lost without them.
The actual care my mum receives, as far as I'm aware, is good. The only negative I have is that I do not have access to the app anymore so that I can see when the carers have been in to see Mum - what she has eaten, what she has done, if she's had a shower etc. Unfortunately, Mum can't recall the visits so much now, so I can't get an answer on any of my questions. Please can you send me details of how to access the app. I have asked for it three times now.
Thank you to the Caremark team for looking after my nan, she adores the carers. The team have really improved her life as well as ours as we know she is in safe hands. Thank you for all your support.
My experience with Caremark was absolutely criminal. They let themselves into my home at all times of the day and night that suited them, did nothing, sat on my sofa and played on their phones or tried converting me to Islam. I kept telling Caremark not to come back, but they just kept coming, because they knew if they could prove they had been on my property they could charge! I had to have my key taken from my key safe because of the intimidation Caremark were causing. At my wit's end, I had to threaten to call the police to put a stop to them.
Mum was concerned about having carers as the family had been looking after her but it was becoming too much. The excellent care that Mum now receives has made a difference to all our lives. Mum's carers have become new friends.
I was thrown quite quickly into the situation of needing care visits at home for my mother, who has vascular dementia, and which worsened following a stroke. I cannot rate Caremark enough. From the initial response to my enquiry, which was full of empathy and compassion for my situation (it's so hard), to a speedy, efficient caring risk assessment, to care being quickly provided, Caremark has been excellent. My review is written several months after we started care. I cannot fault the consideration and responsiveness of every member of the team. They have accommodated our changing needs remarkably quickly. The office keeps in touch, as do the carers on occasion. We have never had one visit missed, and we have a small number of carers who visit, building relationships well with my parents. This is so rare these days. They are local, caring, flexible and also reasonably priced. Thanks, Caremark! Heartily recommend.
I can’t speak highly enough about this amazing service, it’s enabling my mum to remain at home after the sudden death of my father. It’s a real comfort to the family knowing she has this care from the lovely, caring staff members
Mum has always been happy with her care provided. As a family, we appreciate the hard work of all the carers especially as the past year has been so challenging. It is good that mum still has a core group of carers that have been with her since the beginning of her care. I spoke with the supervisor a few weeks ago and said the only concern we have is new carers being added to mums rota as she needs familiarity and consistency and of course wants to minimize contacts at this time. But I see from her rota this still happens. I always get a good response whenever I ring the office, always friendly and helpful.
Overall service has been very good. I've looked after my mum as best as possible. I sometimes wish the carers would reply to my phone calls. Even when I've rung the office I don't think sometimes they look at the PACE notes on the care system, especially when it's something a little bit urgent. Other than that service has been overall very good.
We had an excellent experience with Caremark. They have really gone over and above in Covid pandemic to support us, which is commendable. We are grateful to Caremark for all the support. During this difficult period, they have ensured a strong communication and concreate actions to provide us with care what we needed.
