View Full Details of Horizon Care (South West) LtdHave been using Horizon for quite some time having two carers at the same time. Most times and on a regular basis a male carer for my husband who has vascular dementia and a female for me as I am disabled. Now all of a sudden they say only one carer is needed this is not good as my husband is used to his carers and I must say all the carers are fantastic plus I am paying privately. Carers are again fantastic but the staff i.e directors/staff have no idea what they have done. I can put up with change but my husband can’t, he doesn’t understand and it has taken a long time for him to get used to the carers that deal with him. It’s a pity the staff in the office couldn’t come and l see how hard it has been at times for my husband to build a rapport with the carers.
Care and attention very good. Punctuality in actual times cannot be guaranteed as difficulties may be encountered with previous client/user. Very friendly carers. Perhaps a little language difficulty which is easily overcome.
The carers are wonderful. 10/10 with the exception of the bed making skills of a couple. The finished job is to be seen by mother all day in her room and no matter how often we ask the management no improvement is seen. I have written and telephoned the office - no reply/response. No contact possible over all the weekend.
Very good. Always helpful and considerate.
Horizon Care has been providing care for my husband for nearly six years. Although there has been a turn over of carers in that time they have been consistent in their kindness, responsibility and general care. There are, of course, small problems occasionally, but generally, we feel very fortunate to have the care provided by Horizon. The management also tries hard to keep us informed.
My enabler has helped me so much. I look forward to my visits twice a week.
I am very happy with the care from Horizon. Everyone is lovely and looks after me very well.
