We've had mixed experience with other agencies - we've had some fantastic carers but most have been just OK. Sometimes poor English, sometimes a bit cold in their care. The same with the management, sometimes can't get through on the phone, carers constantly changing, not sure when they'll show up or who it will be etc. Bluebird Care Croydon are certainly a notch more expensive than other agencies, but they have been better by far. The girls have been warm and friendly and seem to enjoy what they do. English never an issue. The management is good, never a problem on the phone sorting anything out. Staff turnover seems low, after 5 months we are still seeing the same staff and this has given them a chance to build rapport with my mother.
I decided to use Bluebird Care when I got a job opportunity in Australia. I struggled to decide between whether to take my mom to Australia with me or get her into care. She loved her home and I didn't want to take that away from her. After research, I decided to seek services from Bluebird Care. The level of professionalism when it comes to rendering service is just incredible. Even with the distance, I'm updated on everything that has to do with Mom's care. The carers are so caring and make Mom feel so loved that she doesn't feel my absence. I will choose Bluebird over and over again, it's definitely worth every penny.
Bluebird Care Croydon has been providing seven days a week care and companionship services for Mother since May 2024. The experienced staff are polite, helpful and friendly with many of them going out of their way to ensure Mum's every need is catered for. Would I recommend? For sure!
For the eighteen months Mum received care from Bluebird Care, they provided reliable and good quality care. They were responsive to our needs and provided accurate time bills - very different from the previous care company we'd used.
Having used Bluebird Care "companionship visit" service for nearly a year, I am very happy to second how much of a difference it is making to my life. My "team" of carers are so friendly and reliable and have helped to restore my self-confidence and adapt to living alone. With my family some distance away, this has been so reassuring for them too. The management team are equally friendly and supportive.

I have been using the cleaning service provided by Bluebird Care Croydon for two years. The ladies that come are always very friendly, polite, thorough, make sure my house is left clean and tidy. They always ask before they leave if there is anything else I need doing. If I need to change or cancel a date, it's never a problem when I ring the office. It's great to have the same person coming each week, no need to keep explaining where everything is, what needs doing. Many thanks Bluebird team, you're an excellent company with fantastic staff.
I have always found Bluebird Care very responsive to my mum’s changing needs. The office staff are very efficient. The carers are all very kind and try to take an interest in her. When my mum started to deteriorate, the carers were very proactive in contacting me with their concerns. Thank you.
Bluebird Care is amazing, always prompt and communicative and honestly, you couldn’t meet a better team. All of Dad's carers are amazing and I can finally have a respite because I can trust the lovely lady to be with Dad while I’m out. I have so much more peace of mind now. The carers who support my mum are kind, compassionate, trustworthy, reliable, punctual and patient. My mum really looks forward to spending time with them and their excellent support gives me peace of mind. The managerial staff at Bluebird also provide an excellent, responsive service, including arranging cover at short notice when needed. They are polite, courteous, efficient and friendly. Have been using Bluebird for weekly lunchtime cover. The manager and all staff are helpful and always polite. Two staff members in particular are the usual carers who provide cover. Overall, am very happy with the care provided by this company.
The staff are exemplary in their care for my aunt. They listen to her and make her feel valued and dignified. My aunt enjoys the variety of staff that see her and they have all made a very positive impression. This level of support is essential to my aunt remaining in her own home so is critical to her well-being. When I have needed to speak to office staff they are equally helpful and professional.
Bluebird has been caring for my mum for over 10 years and has always put my mum's needs as a priority. The carers are kind, caring and hardworking, they are friendly but professional. Sometimes it is like having a friend care for my mum and I feel my mum is in safe hands. Not only do the carers go above and beyond their job, but the office staff too, nothing is too much trouble.
My dad has had a live-in carer for nearly 3 months. It was a bit of a change for him. The initial carer although very caring and helpful, did cause some anxiety for myself, this was due to a language barrier and inflexibility in what could/could not do, most likely due to fear of doing something wrong. I would still give 10/10 for care, kindness and support though. Heart was in the right place and that's what matters most. We have had a change in carer and this has proved a much more relaxing experience for both myself and my sister. The office team are really helpful and supportive and do all they can to get things right for you. They fully understand the anxiety families feel when handing over care of their loved one to others. Can't compare cost relating to other agencies as did not look. A lifelong friend works in another branch office and I know that the carers are vetted and trained well.
The client is 104 years old next week, and Bluebird have now been looking after her for about a year. The staff seem very good and provide her with the care at home that she requires. She is always happy to see people and seems to have adjusted to having different carers on different days. The only thing I have had a few issues with are the invoices, which quite often have double charges, but when I call to pay this is quicker sorted.

My cousin is 90 and lives on his own and is unable to walk without support. We think Covid debilitated him. We started with two days a week for an hour of care and we pop in between. Now increased to three days a week as he seems happy with the service.
My husband had Covid very badly at the beginning of lockdown. He has not lost all his mobility and has to be washed every day in the morning and have a carer come at lunchtime to do a pad change and help him generally. We could not do without our Bluebird carers as I am 92 and cannot lift him. They have been coming now for three years.
We are very happy with the service we receive from Bluebird Care. In particular, it is good that my brother normally gets the same person visiting twice a week. A high standard of cleaning is given twice a week.
