My mother and father truly benefitted from the care they received from Home Instead. The carers were punctual, caring and hard working. My mother has dementia and the carers experience came to the fore as they were able to manage her daily needs and care with just the right touch. I would definitely recommend Home Instead.

Mum and I have found the care given by Home Instead excellent. Mum came out of a care home to be cared for in her own home after hip surgery four years ago. Mum is now 99 years old, has carers twice a day and has a lot of help from myself. The carers have been punctual, genuinely caring, efficient, adaptable and hard working. They have become friends to Mum and myself. The team remains generally stable and any new carers are carefully supervised in their new role. Management are helpful and sympathetic, any problems are quickly rectified and we have a regular thorough review. All care is expensive but this care provider represents good value for money in this market. This care gives Mum the best quality of life available, maintains her independence in her own home and enables me to spend quality time with Mum. I thoroughly recommend this company.

Excellent provider of quality care. My experience with the manager and his professional, kind team has been exemplary. They have and continue to look after my husband since May 2021. They are totally reliable and helpful when I need to change dates. A superb company I would highly recommend.

A wonderful company staffed by professional and kind staff who have made a real impact on the quality of life for my father and mother, as his carer. Right from the first meeting with the care manager we were impressed and reassured. He took time to get to know my family; what we needed, my father's interests as well as full health details. At no point were we rushed to sign a contract (unlike other companies we met with!), however once we were ready the carers were rapidly in place. The company believes in and delivers, a small team approach to care with wonderful, reassuring and knowledgeable carers. They really engage with Dad throughout the sessions, but also keep an eye on Mum. The carers were introduced by the manager in person and we always know who is coming in. The care package has already been tweaked as needs have changed, but the ease of contact with the manager has meant that changes to the level of care are seamless. A massive thank you from all the family.

Human beings treating human beings as they would like to be treated themselves is all that needs to be said about this excellent provider. From the start of a difficult journey, and during, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness and support we have received. I cannot speak highly enough of this super company and it starts at the top for sure. The manager is very approachable, helpful and intuitive and he really listens carefully and works out what the family as a whole needs. The carers that visit Mum are lovely, and Mum feels she has made new friends. The level of support offered to the family as a whole is superb.

I would thoroughly recommend Home Instead as a care provider. Their staff are well trained, friendly and efficient; they support without patronising, and nothing is too much trouble. The company communicates any changes of staff visits very well and makes sure that all contacts are introduced to the client before they visit so there are no concerns of an unfamiliar face.

Home Instead is providing a wonderful service for my elderly mother. The carers are amazing, staying cheerful at all times, whatever the circumstances. Their professionalism and empathy command my utmost respect. So too does the experience I have had of the two managers at head office who have accommodated our needs brilliantly, even through the pandemic. Well done, Home Instead, and thank you all enormously.

The Truro branch of Home Instead provided care for our mother for over two years until her recent death. The care package was ramped up from an initial five one-hour visits a week, to three one-hour visits a day as my mother become more frail and her care needs increased. The standard and reliability were outstanding in all aspects, from initial contact with the management team, through to the ongoing care visits, throughout dealing with the extra demands and restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic. The carers consistently provided Mum with exactly what she needed. Starting with largely companionship and routine welfare visits, this later progressed through to full support, including meal preparation and personal hygiene care. The carers were diligent and thoughtful, and they all treated our mother with exceptional kindness and took time to engage with her and listen to her preferences and needs. Without a doubt, the Home Instead team were the main factor in allowing my mother to stay in her own home during her final years, which was her most fervent and often-expressed wish. We cannot thank Home Instead enough for their service to our mother, and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

These people are so caring. They are efficient, kind and really go the extra mile to deliver a truly personal service. My mother immediately took to two staff members and treats each like a member of the family. The staff are quick to contact me if there are any problems or if they are concerned about mother. They have been particularly efficient during the recent pandemic.

This home care company provides excellent home care. My Father is always treated with dignity and respect. The carers are of an extremely high calibre and are well trained. Their judgement is excellent and both they, and their office team, have excellent communication skills. I am always made aware of any concerns regarding my Father's health and wellbeing. Earlier this month, the swift actions of one of the carers led to my Father's pneumonia, and subsequent sepsis, being spotted very quickly and he is recovering well. That carer returned to the house, in her own time to wait with me for the Dr and later visited him in hospital, which made his day! This was above and beyond what you could possibly expect from a service. Others have made him special homemade meals and helped him with his 'office work' which makes him happy. Both Dad and I couldn't do without this team of people.

Like many older people, my mother is determined to live in her own home for as long as possible. She had been in receipt of a care package arranged by the local Social Services for about three years. Following a nasty fall which resulted in a hospital stay in May this year she was sent on to a local care home to complete her recovery. Unfortunately, she then lost her care package. After three months in the care home, she was desperate to return home. Home Instead were amongst many that I contacted and were immediately receptive and helpful even though they were at that time unable to take Mum on. I put Mum's name on their waiting list and as luck would have it they made contact a few weeks later. Their staff seem to be a little more experienced than most and Mum is full of praise for their efforts and attentive ways. Their minimum one hour visits have worked brilliantly. If you are looking for a care provider to look after someone close to you then I recommend you give them a try!

Very supportive staff, both carers and office staff. As I don’t live in the UK, I need to be completely confident in the care given by the company and I also feel supported myself. My family and I feel very fortunate indeed that we found Home Instead.

Home Instead was originally a service provided to both my parents and was invaluable to myself as their main carer as their intervention enable me to have a more flexible and enjoyable relationship. Since my mother has gone into a nursing home the package supplied by Home Instead has enabled my father to maintain a well-supported lifestyle. Home Instead always try to meet your needs and are at the end of a phone if required. The Caregivers are polite, efficient and help me with anything that is required within their remit. They have been a godsend.

Mum and I have found the care given by Home Instead excellent. Mum came out of a care home to be cared for in her own home after hip surgery four years ago.
