The support and care we have received from Libertas Care have made it possible for us to continue our lives as normally as possible. It is reassuring to know help is just a phone call away. All the carers we have met always look forward to their visits.

My mum had been living with me for some years and although fiercely independent in many ways, she was becoming increasingly reliant on me. As she approached 98, it became clear we needed more physical support. How fortunate we were that Libertas could step in. A huge burden was lifted when the super team helped us to come to terms with my mum's end of life. Getting her up and going to bed, coming out immediately to cope with falls and following guidance from the District Nurses (massive thanks to them too), and always at the end of the phone, nothing was too much trouble. Although it was imminent, my mum died unexpectedly, late one evening. I will forever be grateful to the Manager for being at the end of the phone for that long night. Definitely five stars - and make them gold.

I cannot praise the carers and staff at Libertas highly enough. They have cared for my mum beautifully - often going way beyond what they needed to do. They all spent lots of time chatting to Mum and making sure she is happy and everything is done how she would like. I can honestly say they have become very good friends to her. If ever she needed any extra help someone would always step in, even at the last minute. Both me and my sister lived quite a distance today, and knowing that Mum had such excellent care every day was immensely reassuring. Thanks to them Mum was able to be at home until she was 91.

As both myself and my brother live a long way from our mum, aged 91, Libertas have been helping her, for a few years now. What an amazing find for mum and us. Fantastic service, caring, professional, and helpful, we are extremely grateful for everything they do for mum, keeping us in the loop with regular updates. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. Always at the end of the phone, they are kind, understanding and helpful; nothing is too much trouble, sometimes going above and beyond with what they do for us. In fact they have almost become part of the family. We can't thank them enough for the reassurance they give us regarding mum's care and needs.

The quality of Libertas Care starts with the office team, which is always approachable, accommodating and reliable. Care was provided initially for my mother, in challenging circumstances, and most recently for my father. The relationship has been continuous for over 5 years, with faultless attendance records, consistently excellent care standards, and most importantly the same faces providing the care. A highly recommended care provider.

I cannot speak highly enough about the support, care, and friendliness we have received from the staff at Libertas. They have helped us out so much over the last few months in respect of our dad. Our dad loves all of the staff as they are so kind and caring. We are so grateful for everything Libertas has done for our dad. I highly recommend them.

Libertas Care took over caring for a friend of mine after a discharge to assess team then another private company. The expectation I had from the previous carers was not very high and when Libertas took over I was overwhelmed by their standards, real caring nature and all the things they would do above and beyond any of the other care teams taking most of the responsibility away from me as a friend to the client. The relief to me was overwhelming to know that my friend was in such good hands.

Libertas Care carers have made a huge difference to my mother in laws life. She was lonely and lacked motivation and was not looking after herself until Libertas came along. She now looks forward to their visits and has got to know them really well.

The team have been completely wonderful. The genuine care and concern they showed towards my father went far beyond anything we had expected. He was treated as if he was a member of their own family. He loved their daily visits and enjoyed their company. For me, having Libertas involved meant a safe pair of hands I could rely on and I knew they would report even the slightest concern back to me. Communication was excellent throughout, phone calls were always answered and emails were replied to straight away. I can recommend Libertas wholeheartedly.

My family are extremely lucky to have Libertas in Crewkerne looking after our elderly dementia-challenged mum. The dedication and care given to our mum by the whole team from the management down is really exceptional and is a massive endorsement and reflection of all that is great in the care system. All staff are positive, caring, responsive and effective and incredibly patient. All that you could ask or hope for!

I can't express enough gratitude and respect for the Libertas Carers who cared for my brother in law and sister through nearly five years of what was often described by medics as 'end of life' care. He sadly passed away in December 2021 and two devoted carers were with my sister and I at the time. Libertas were gradually through the five years more needed and more present. A small team of regulars were provided from the start of Covid-19. They all had different strengths and skills, but each person was always kind and respectful and brought genuine love into our sister's home; they were always professional in their engagement and delivery. They supported my sister through tough emotional and physical times. They have been extraordinary and worth their weight in gold. We can never thank them enough. Earlier my brother in law could be hoisted into a chair to watch his beloved birds outside the window. Latterly he was immobile. His physical and emotional care was exceptional. Thank you!

I am very happy with the services provided by Libertas, the carers are friendly and helpful. They also provide me with a live-in carer who is very professional, kind, and friendly. I couldn't be happier.

I can not recommend Libertas care highly enough. When I took on direct payments for my dad to have some care so he could continue to live at home independently I started looking for a good company. I read all the reviews of different companies to chose from. After reading the reviews for Libertas care I chose them. I am so glad I did. They completely lived up to all the excellent reviews. Nothing was too much trouble from the start until my dear dad passed away on 3rd January 2022. The care manager was such a caring, knowledgeable person, she put all his care needs in place. She kept the family updated on any changes in his health. Also, when my dad had to be admitted into A&E she contacted my brother and told him the correct forms she had put in place with all the relevant information the hospital would need. This was such a massive help in a crisis. Thank you, Libertas for your excellent care and support to me and my family.

My Mum had a debilitating mental illness and the only option we were given after a long spell of illness in a hospital was a nursing home. During her stay, I contacted Libertas to help with some social visits. I will always remember that first phone call. I was so comforted by the kindness and caring attitude of the lovely lady I spoke to. We realised that a nursing home was not the right environment for Mum and were amazed to hear that Libertas could provide us with live-in care for her and she could return to her own home. All the staff were amazing not only with caring for Mum but supporting us as a family. Sadly a year ago Mum suffered a stroke, she lost her mobility, and her speech and swallowing were severely affected. Libertas found us lovely carers and the smile on Mums face when the carers walked into her room said it all. She totally trusted their care. We felt that they were part of our family. Sadly Mum died recently with a loving carer by her side. Thank you, Libertas.

Libertas have been a total saviour for my brother and me. The care they give our mother is excellent. They are kind and compassionate towards her and support her needs to the highest standard. They are also incredibly supportive to us. We would be lost without them.

My mother is not an easy client but nevertheless, the care she receives from all Libertas care staff and management is outstanding and very caring, they have gone above and beyond to keep her safe. It is an enormous relief to know that she is in such good hands.
