The lovely ladies from Home Instead (Epsom) have been looking after my mum for the past two years. Their care and professionalism allowed mum to stay in her home even as her dementia worsened. They always take time to talk to mum, helping her remember happy times in the past. The online App means that I can see how she is doing every day, and the general level of communication is excellent ensuring that the family and the carers stay in touch and make any changes necessary in a timely manner. I live many miles away from mum, so it is reassuring to know that she is receiving such great care.

The two carers who looked after my mum couldn't have been nicer, Mum so enjoyed having them visit her. I always felt very reassured when they were in the house. Home Instead was able to accommodate changes to care needs at reasonably short notice. They came highly recommended and I too wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

My Dad first started using Home Instead some 7/8 years ago to help him with care of my Mum due to her deteriorating health and it has continued ever since, even though sadly my dad is no longer with us. Although we have predominantly had a wonderful carer who is like a family member, over the years all the carers I have encountered have provided an exceptional patient, friendly and professional caring service. This attitude extends to the office staff. I really feel my point of contact, really knows my Mum (through regular home review visits) and dealing with her and the rest of her team is a pleasure. As you can see I cannot speak highly enough of my dealings with Home Instead. Thank you all.

My wife was diagnosed with mixed dementia in September 4 days after her 78 birthday. Having never faced this sort of problem in my life I was completely at a loss as to how we would cope, especially as I was still working full time. I made enquiries and based on their literature I chose Home Instead Epsom. The care manager was very clear regarding options once she had elicited our needs. I spoke to her by phone and at my home and she prepared a comprehensive care plan both for the present and future. Once a carer was chosen my wife changed from being hesitant about the concept to really looking forward to the carers visits. She has suddenly regained a purpose in life and really enjoys the company and coffee house visits! Meanwhile I now have peace of mind at work. I'm also very impressed with the follow-up by the same manager and the general professionalism displayed by the organisation.

My husband has been using the services of Home Instead for the past 3+ months. The company is very careful to ensure all carers are introduced to their client before actually starting work. They are very adaptable to the client's needs, and mine when they have finished assisting my husband, and will do anything asked of them. They are all cheerful and give the feeling that they really enjoy their work. Personally, it works so well that the minimum visit time is 2 hours as, most importantly, this means they are never needing to cut corners due to being in a rush to leave. Everyone says how important it is for the unpaid carer to have time to themselves, and they enable this by being flexible enough to cover for me on an ad hoc basis if I want to do something special, like meet a friend in London - providing I give enough notice. Their service has been exemplary and I cannot recommend them highly enough from management to carers, they are all friendly, helpful and supportive.

Home Instead is a highly professional company, who I felt did everything possible to help us. We were provided with excellent support and advice and the care provided was of high quality. The carer was very friendly and supportive to my dad. I would highly recommend this company.

My mother has benefited from the care provided by Home Instead since the summer of 2023. She suffers from a progressive and worsening health condition which has left her housebound. She has three Home Instead carers who visit daily during the week, and who provide companion support along with personal care and home care. She is delighted with the support she receives. My brother and I are also delighted with the support Mum now gets, and we hope that this can continue for as long as it is possible.

The service provided for my mum from the team at Home Instead has been absolutely fantastic. From all the carers right across to admin and management, every aspect has been friendly and professional. You can really tell that everyone involved has had my mum’s best interests at heart and the attention to detail has been such a support. Thank you everyone for everything you have done. Thank you to the carers and management team at Home Instead. My mother was unsure about having outside help but she has really enjoyed the company of her lovely carer who is more like a family friend. Home Instead has enabled our 97-year-old mother to continue living at home and we have all felt reassured knowing that she was receiving visits from such a cheerful, sensitive and compassionate carer. Communication along the way has always been easy and the management team is very responsive. Thank you for making the process so straightforward. I have no hesitation at all in recommending your services.

My heartfelt thanks to all the team involved in the planning and care of my dad. The attention to detail and matching of appropriately trained staff, when planning his care, was very reassuring. Everyone is so kind, caring, understanding, supportive, and professional, both in relation to my dad's care and in supporting our family. You go 'above and beyond' - thank you all so much.

My Mum has been house bound since losing her driving licence due to her Alzheimer's diagnosis. She lives about an hours drive away so its not easy to pop in with any shopping etc. We have been using Home Instead to provide companionship and support to Mum for over a year. The companion gets on very well with Mum, whenever the care giver arrives Mum greets her like a long lost friend. Mum really enjoys the visits. We have found Home Instead very easy to deal with, and cannot fault the standard of support they have provided.

We were content and happy clients of Home Instead for over five years. We always had superb carers - adjusting the number of hours per week to suit our various needs. The efficient staff were helpful and periodic visits were made by management to ensure our requirements and services were being efficiently met. Invaluable help throughout and were very friendly.

We have had carers from Home Instead help my elderly parents, initially the care was provided for my father and after his death last year it continued for my mother. We as a family found the carers and staff at Home Instead to be extremely helpful. We had great communication with staff through emails and phone calls, and any requests we had were dealt with promptly. I cannot emphasise enough how valuable the service given to my parents was and would definitely recommend Home Instead to others.

The Home Instead (Epsom & Mole Valley) have been invaluable in helping to take care of my stepmother over the past 15 months or so. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer's and was quite fragile but with the help of the really wonderful team who visited her on a daily basis, she managed to stay in her own home, until last month. After falling and breaking her hip, her confusion has deepened and it was recommended that she be relocated to live closer to the family and reside in a residential nursing home. We could not have managed without the care and helpful guidance given to us in, at times, very stressful situations and we cannot praise their services highly enough. Thank you.

My Mum has two different caregivers from Home Instead, both of whom have been brilliant. Although Mum was initially reluctant to have any extra support, once she agreed to try it she hasn’t looked back. The visits have brought sensitive and adaptable support for Mum and she loves the chats and laughs she has with them. Although almost blind, she has been able to go out for lunch or a coffee with their support if she wishes, which has really improved her quality of life. Knowing that she is seeing other people and getting extra help from them has also made a huge difference to me as I am able to relax and have some time for myself on the days they visit. About a year ago, as a newcomer to finding care and support for Mum I was at a loss to know where to start or who to choose. I’m so glad we found Home Instead, and to anyone in a similar position I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I am so pleased with the home care provided by Home Instead for my mother. They were able to accommodate my request for extended hours to enable me to have a good few hours of respite. A wonderful carer was matched to my mother's personality. The carer has been invaluable, making useful suggestions to help and being keen and enthusiastic in her role. I wish I had called months before I did, to engage Home Instead services because the difference it has made to my family is huge. Highly recommend. Don't hesitate to pick up the phone. The Home Instead services were recommended to me by a colleague who had nothing but praise for the company and the service provided by them. I utilised their services to support my ageing mother over a number of years and as she progressed into further levels of dementia. Throughout, Home Instead was excellent to deal with and very responsive and adaptable to her relevant needs, including providing extra services at short notice. They didn’t let me down once and were always a pleasure to deal with. The carers were magnificent; so kind, so helpful and so caring. I similarly have only good words and praise for the company and the services they provide, and would highly recommend them to anyone with elderly care needs. I will forever be grateful to the numerous careers who supported my mother throughout what was and can be such a difficult and eventful time; the reassurance and assistance you provided were amazing throughout. My sister and I are so pleased to have found Home Instead to help our mum. The service they offer to an elderly lady who is at best confused and at worst completely unable to remember what happened two minutes ago, is amazing. Mum’s helper is kind, caring, patient and an absolute saint. She provides feedback if she is ever concerned or notices a change and spends a lot of time talking to Mum, taking her shopping and playing games with her. We are so grateful for this service.

Home Instead have been caring for my housebound mother for the last few years. The team of carers assigned to Mother have been absolutely wonderful. They were all so very caring and aware of her needs, nothing was too much trouble for them. We as a family knew Mother was always in very good hands. If they became aware of a problem or were concerned about anything, they always kept us informed. The same can and should be said for the administration department. Whenever any schedules needed to be changed, either from our needs or those of Home Instead, the support given was always exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always kept fully updated. All in all, Home Instead operate a very professional and caring service and I would readily recommend them.

During the Covid lockdowns my 94-year-old father came to live with us for 9 months. As I work full-time we asked Home Instead to provide between 4 and 6 hours care a day during the week. The service was brilliant. Dad built up a great relationship with all the carers, as did we. We were overwhelmed by their commitment, kindness, hard work and sheer professionalism. The company itself was having to deal with all the challenges of Covid - but never let us down. They were reliable, efficient and consistent. We are extremely grateful and would not hesitate to give a glowing recommendation.
