View Full Details of Accessible Care - MaidstoneThe carer can do more with Mum than I ever could. She is wonderful. Mum really likes the carer and misses her when she leaves. So if Mum is happy with the carer, so am I. Carer works really hard and is Mum's favourite.
The carers are caring and always make me smile, there is nothing left undone that they can't help with.
Generally, the carers are very good at performing their care as required by me. Sometimes the office fails to inform me of changes to the schedule, especially on the day.
Good service overall. We use the service to supplement the care we give, this works well for us with the level of care our parents need at the moment.
We are very pleased with the care we receive.
Generally very good, sometimes I get a late carer which I don't like.
Having been with Accessible Care for two years in May. Having moved in that time still in care. The carers I have experienced have varied but on the whole have, all been most kind and I enjoy meeting them as they are half-hour social life while being washed and dressed. Saving my husband one job. Being house bound I do need this help. I like a regular time so I can keep to my routine when getting up. Overall the service is just what I need. Thank you.
Very good service, very good staff. Very satisfied.
Everything ok so far, thank you.
Most carers are very friendly and helpful and generally on time within the given margins. Having the same two ladies as much as possible is a great help, both to me and the patient, my wife, getting to know them. This helps a lot especially as my wife is blind as well as suffering from dementia etc, she chats to them in her own way, also the carers benefit, they get to know the best way to attend to their patient and how to deal with their moods. For example, sometimes I've had to assist new carers and tell them which creams to use and where to apply them. Perhaps they have been let out in the field too soon, maybe the training programme should be revised. I never give full marks, as an ex-quality manager I always think there's always room for improvement.
Being a client of Accessible Care for a few years now and I am well-known among the staff care and get along well with the carers, generally, I have a good experience 90% of the time. However I do think there is some room for improvement, I would like to see more communication between the office and the client like courtesy text or call if late or if they are coming early. Secondly, I see a lot of stress in some of the carers either because they have too many calls, no travel time and no timely lunch breaks, this only adds to their stress. Lastly, I have noticed that there are many new staff that have not seemed to be correctly trained meaning I have had to train them myself in pressure-related wounds as lots of people will be in the position of having bed sores. I think this is very important. Also, I think that new staff do not have long enough to observe on the job before being sent alone. Overall they do a great job I just wanted to have some good criticism for improvement!
Carers are very helpful and caring. They are extremely polite and thoughtful. They are very gentle and adaptable.
Very helpful and understanding. Their experience with other patients has been been very helpful with our problems. We have seen many carers over time and everyone has been a pleasure to have assist us. Although 'Accessible' are the only carers we have seen, I would still highly recommend.
The carers are very caring but always pushed for time, e.g. if a previous client has needed extra care and support, it makes the carer late.
Always been totally satisfied with the service my brother receives from Accessible Care. The carers are extremely efficient and very kind, caring and motivating in their carrying out of the essential tasks that are required for my brothers personal care. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have this wonderful team of carers helping him.
All the carers and office workers are very nice, helpful and treat me with respect. They always do everything I need, are always kind and patient. They always help with my particular needs.
We have been using Accessible Care for sometime now and always feel comfortable with the staff.
My wife and I are extremely pleased with our morning carers. All the carers have good communication skills and are both very professional and helpful. If I declared that they are almost close to being family friends; that is not to support familiarity, they are all very polite and courteous at all times. Well done team! Communication from the office is always timely, helpful and appropriate.
All my carers have been very good and I have complete confidence in them. My only concern is that they do not have enough travelling time and as some clients take longer than others, they do not always have time for a break during the day, which I feel they need.
We have had 5 different carers over the time we have had carers. All are very caring, efficient and very nice people.
