View Full Details of Home Instead (Wimbledon & Kingston)Our family have been using the care professionals from Wimbledon & Kingston for the last 15months to assist and support my eldest Sister who has Alzheimers 78 years old. They are always very punctual , friendly and extremely helpful. There visits brightened my Sisters day and they often went over and above ans she looked forward to seeing all the lovely people. The management team have been equally as supportive and caring at all times and kept me informed of any developements re my Sister as my Wife and I live 70 miles away . It was very reassuring to know she was going to get a visit every day and get some company , stimulation and see a lovely friendly face . I met all the girls several times and had total trust and confidence they were giving there all and were very passionate in what they did . Would definately recommend using the professionals from this organisation and have infact passed on my opinons to several people who need support and assistance for there loved ones .
When looking for a company who would help my father live independently in his own home, I had been advised to check the Care Quality Commission (CQC) website to make sure I was choosing a highly rated organisation. We wanted the very best for our loved one. Home Instead (Wimbledon & Kingston) was rated Outstanding; we made contact and never looked back. It was a massive relief, during such a stressful time, to feel in safe hands. We had the most incredible care for dad. The care started as companionship, helping him regain his confidence after some falls and a dementia diagnosis. As time went on, his care needs increased. His carers received excellent training and they supported dad through his latter stages of care, right to the very end where he passed peacefully at home. For 6 years, he not only lived independently, he lived JOYFULLY. We made memories we never thought possible. To us, this company is indeed outstanding. Thank you.
Home Instead was recommended to care for our 95 year old mother, initially as help following a hip replacement increasing to several hours a day of care and companionship due to the progression of dementia. The care professionals were of the highest standard, efficient, caring and friendly. Taking time and effort to get to know Mum, her likes and dislikes and her life story so they were able to meet all her needs in the best way. Mum thoroughly enjoyed their visits. The app allowed us to be up to date with Mum's care, meals, activities and health, giving us confidence and reassurance that she was being well looked after. Communication with the management team was excellent. Any changes to visits needs were effected quickly and without fuss. After two and a half years Mum now needs residential nursing care but Home Instead were instrumental in enabling her to stay in her own home for as long as possible. We have no hesitation in recommending the Wimbledon & Kingston Home Instead team.
This is just to show my gratitude to you all at Home Instead for the outstanding Care that you have provided for my wife in her ongoing battle with Dementia. We are both in our forties for the second time and I would not have been able to cope without your help on my own. All your carers have been brilliant and I will spread the word.
Punctuality is good. Carers are rarely late. I look forward to them coming and it puts a smile on my face when I see them. Although I have many different carers each one is very sweet and passable. They always get the tasks done in good time and then make sure I am settled (and wrapped up if I want it) and in a good place before they go.
Management has been excellent. Staff is excellent for our needs, faultless in all parts. We wished to express our entire satisfaction so far.
We have found Home Instead carers to be pleasant, efficient and reliable since we began using the agency there months ago.
Excellent care was provided at relatively short notice for full-time live-in requirements. Good communication from office staff and care professionals - who on the whole seem dedicated, caring, and empathetic. Excellent liaison with the hospital at the time of discharge. Highly recommend.
I have been impressed with the service offered by HomeInstead. They took time to find and introduce carers to suit us and our particular needs and keep in regular touch with us to assess how our needs are changing and developing. The schedulers are always pleasant and helpful and the carers are well trained and we have confidence in them. Thank you to all.
Our wonderful dad did everything for our mother and when he died from prostate cancer we had to find good quality, reliable and enduring care for our 92-year-old, disabled mum. We undertook intensive research on care providers in our area. Home Instead was the only provider with an across-the-board 'outstanding' assessment by the Care Quality Commission. Home Instead took considerable trouble to meet Mum and to establish exactly what care she needed. The whole Home Instead team were so kind and patient with her and as the arrangements have bedded she has come to view all her carers as friends. Over the last couple of years, her care needs have changed. Home Instead have always been receptive to her developing needs and worked hard to meet them. The schedulers and client liaison staff have always been available, they react to any problems quickly and sympathetically. Home Instead is an excellent care provider.
We came to Home Instead after a few trials with other care agencies. From the very start, I have had confidence in the care they set out to provide. The supervision of carers both new and long-standing gives me reassurance that my grandparents are always getting the best care available even with inevitable changes in staff. With Home Instead's input, my grandparents have remained at home, enjoying their time together and actually getting stronger and healthier! They look better now than they did five years ago! All the carers have been so lovely, my grandparents feel like they are being thoroughly spoilt.
I have been with Home Instead for 2 and a half years, they were recommended by a friend. The service that I receive has been excellent. The carers are clearly devoted to all they do and are all highly competent, nothing is too much trouble for them - they are all good at cooking a fresh meal! The carers are all proactive and once I ask for something to be done they remember, rather than me having to tell them all the time. They are all very punctual and if there are any delays I am informed by the office. I have a client liaison who listens to what I say, advises and actions - she even picks me up and drops me back off when I have events. I am very lucky to have such excellent care.
Home Instead has been looking after my mother (92) for over a year now. I have found them to be excellent. They have found regular carers for mum, who have been able to meet her needs and enhance her happiness. The company excels at communication and is well-organized and compassionate. Mum's care plan is well thought out and thorough. The carers' manager visits mum every 3 months to review her care plan and make any necessary adjustments. I have been very impressed by the calibre of Home Instead Senior Care and would not hesitate to recommend them to any other family seeking care for their relative.
Home Instead (Wimbledon & Kingston) lives up to its good reputation. Sincere, caring staff all the way through from the owner to the care giver. A helpful 3 hour workshop in understanding dementia was free of charge. Home Instead staff have the patience and understanding that I struggle with in looking after my mother of 96 years, for whom I have cared for the past 10 years. As I age I can no longer do it all myself. So thank you Home Instead.
It was my first time with them. I started on 1st of May and have been three times. First time we were to the bike shop to get my tyres pumped up, then cycled to a nearby large park via a local village where we had lunch and then cycled home. I showed him the golf course. The second time it chucked it down with rain. We had a great walk, we saw a local tourist attraction, a stadium and had coffee. I took a packed lunch. The third time was to a trip to a Royal Horticultural Society garden, we could pick our own vegetables at the vegetable patch. I love all three things and think my carer is a very good companion.
I started using Home Instead (Wimbledon & Kingston) after my father's first fall that was nearly two and a half years ago. The service Dad has received has been excellent, right through Covid carers came every day they always go the extra mile over the last two and a half years Home Instead (Wimbledon & Kingston) have made my life easier as well knowing Dad is in good hands. He has had the same morning carer the whole time, which is great. She is now like a member of our own family.
Friendly and supportive carers. Punctual and polite and very helpful. Well organised and matched by manager. Excellent service. Helpful management in organising and preparing for a first visit which my wife was concerned about. Able to be satisfied by friendly and caring manager who took the time to make the arrangements and also match the carer with my wife's needs.
Companionship. Help with washing, cooking, dressing, walking and cleaning. My carer and I are good friends.
Mum has been with Home Instead for 6 years, she has been extremely happy with all the caregivers over the years. She now has a young caregiver, who is very caring and nothing is too much trouble. We are really happy with her. Without Home Instead, I would not have the freedom through the day, which is a respite for me.
Home Instead have cared for my mother for about five years. Her carers have been kind, caring, patient and respectful. The office staff have always kept us informed and completed regular reviews of her needs and their care giving. My mother now requires full time care in a care home and so sadly we will have to part company. Personally, I will miss those that I have got to know and I know my mother will too. I whole heartedly recommend Home Instead to anyone requiring care at home.
