The Unicare team have enabled my mum to be able to stay in her home. Most are supportive and caring. Alongside the 'jobs' they undertake for her they encourage her to look after herself and their companionship is invaluable. Unicare endeavours to meet Mum's wishes as well as her needs. I can't recommend them enough.

Being 3 hours away from my 87-year-old mother with Alzheimer’s was tough. But Unicare were amazing. Loads of communication, help, guidance setting care up. Amazing, friendly, caring, professional staff both carers and in the office, that were happy to go the extra mile. Mum was definitely in safe hands and I had nothing to worry about. Care ended when I moved my mother to a care home down the road from me but if she was still in Devon, Unicare would get my business to look after my mum. Thanks guys, you were amazing.

The team was wonderful, from the front-line carers to the office staff. A reassuring initial assessment, led to helping us with Dad's first experience with care at home, after an extended hospital stay. As my father is a widower, the balance of care, while encouraging independent living was delicate. After a year, the team have helped Dad do just that. Lately, positively moving on, to his new Care Home. Their daily observations helped flag any issues and even prompted us to sensibly book in with the GP. It’s clear caregiving is as complex as it gets, as complex as people, their situation and conditions. We never expected perfection, but the team cares and that’s priceless. If you employ a team to care, expect little scheduling niggles, both ways, as Covid, flat tyres may crop up. But I can’t fault the overall care UniCare can provide enough and your loved ones, at such a vulnerable time. Thanks to all the team, you really have made a huge difference!

All of the carers that visit my dad have been lovely. No complaints at all. They visit 3 times per day. The whole process from start to setting up his care package was really quick. A staff member visited dad to do an assessment, she was lovely. Unicare even rings me to see if everything is going well.

The carers have really looked after Mum. Their expertise and attention to detail has been much appreciated by the whole family, as has their patience. Their visits have made a huge difference and they have worked very hard to meet Mum's needs. We can't thank them enough.

Unicare Devon provided care for my dad, who has now sadly passed away. Nothing was too much for the carers, they treated him with dignity at all times. They always had a smile on their faces and as a family, we felt very supported and cared for. Amazing team, thank you so much.

Unicare staff were extremely attentive to my father when he was ill, all staff were very professional and friendly in their work with my father himself and all of the family. I have and will continue to recommend Unicare to people I know that need extra support with a family member.

There are four here in the infirmary and a full team of six carers who provide excellent coverage for us. Of those four, two have more full-time coverage and two well looked after.

In the nature of things, one hasn't experienced other care providers. One can, however, say that one is thoroughly satisfied with the care provided. It is conducted courteously and efficiently. The staff all seem to be trained to tackle all my needs, which may not be all that exceptional.

A very good service provided by Unicare Newton Abbot to my 100-year-old uncle. Care was invariably good and above the standard of most other agencies. A few issues with time-keeping, usually over the weekend, but I think this is common to most agencies who have difficulty providing cover then. Would definitely recommend them to others and would use them again if needed, for a relative.

I am impressed by the professional standard of care to our old and infirm monks from all the Unicare team. Nothing is too much trouble. The Unicare Devon team have a good, professional, working relationship with all the monastic community.

I have been with Unicare Devon for over five years and I am so very happy with my care. The staff are so very kind and helpful and look after me very well. I am 95 years old so pleased to still be in my own home.

The service has been invaluable. Support workers have shown Mum kindness, dignity and professional healthcare and support. Each worker brings something different when they visit, fun, singing, chat, empathy and kindness, making each visit special, suiting their actions to how Mum feels on the day. Very special people.

My mother is cared for by the amazing team of Unicare great organisation and teamwork, the carers show my mother kindness dignity and respect. They are people-centered, friendly and very supportive in any situation. Friendly telephone manners from the office and staff, you all work in a caring professional manner. My husband and I are so grateful for the care that we receive from all the carers. They have become part of our family and we are very fond of each one of them. We are all very grateful for the work that the office staff do in your wonderful organisation.
