View Full Details of Unique Senior Care | WarwickshireThe carers are superb and couldn't be improved upon. The coordinator is excellent and support from the office has clearly improved - we get far less 'last minute dot com' and this is important for my daughter. The care transforms my daughter's life.
Carers were excellent; kind and professional - my father was always happy to see them. We started off with a couple of hours a week and expanded the number of hours as we needed them. Even when a carer was unable to attend, a replacement carer was found and fitted in within the same time frame. Really, no complaints.
I have found every helper to be kind, caring and more than happy to do whatever to make our lives easier. My husband often doesn't want to have a shower but they are very good at persuading him, which is excellent.
Unique have provided care to my mother at home for two hours each week. She has met kind caring individuals who help to cheer her up as well as providing the care she needs. The team is easy to contact when needed and respond quickly to queries and any changes we have had to make, even at short notice.
Excellent service from all staff and management. All the carers make a real effort with my parents, and communication is excellent. The care has gradually increased over the past 12 months in terms of hours, and this has been easily managed with the team.
I highly recommend Unique Senior Care as a professional, genuinely caring, care provider company in Warwickshire. The carers they arranged at short notice for my dad to come in for an hour a day for several weeks following an operation were all lovely, compassionate, caring, very helpful and friendly company too. Their service hugely helped my d1ad get back on his feet again in his 90s - would definitely recommend this type of service and option for anyone needing a bit more support and assistance at home, either temporarily or permanently. They came as a great personal recommendation and it was an enormous relief to find out about them and meet them.
My experience with Unique Senior Care has been wholly positive, from my initial enquiry to the ongoing support my Mum gets. The personal friendly approach to myself and Mum have made the process a great experience. I would highly recommend them.
Unique Senior Care are such a wonderful, well-organised and caring organisation. From our very first meeting with one of the staff members we felt we were in good hands and that my husband's parents would benefit from their care. The carer Unique Care selected was a real hit with both of them, and like most elderly people they had initially resisted the idea that they needed help. They both looked forward to the carer's visits, and we felt she got a good balance of supporting their emotional needs (chat and a cuppa!) with chores that needed doing, e.g. cleaning and helping with shopping. When we had to change timings and frequency of the carer's visits due to my father-in-law going into hospital Unique Care bent over backwards to accommodate that, and we felt they genuinely cared about Mum and Dad. I would highly recommend Unique Care to anyone looking for a carer.
I have found Unique to be actively engaged in my Dad's care. There is advice and follow up available, as well as the fundamentals being right, such as consistency in the actual visits. I feel confident that whenever I change plans they will be able to respond, and they are open to feedback and fielding questions.
My mother's care has been very supportive through once-weekly home visits which include a fortnightly visit to the Dementia Cafe club in a particular care home. This has provided my mother with an opportunity to meet new people and engage in conversation and activities.
My husband has three different carers during a week and they are all consistently cheerful and supportive of him. They come to provide personal care but they do so much more, particularly providing a social interaction which makes a huge difference to brightening up the day for both my husband and myself. They are always willing to do household chores and help in any way they can. We would not hesitate to recommend Unique care.
Carers arrive on time. Willing to undertake any task. Have a caring and sympathetic manner. Provide support with household duties.
Having a carer has greatly improved his life. His flat is now clean and organised. His personal care has been well organised, with the necessary appointments made and coordinated. He gets on with his carer, who understands his needs and copes well.
I would like to highly recommend Unique Senior Care. My parents live quite a distance from myself, it is lovely to know they have a professional, dedicated and caring team looking after their daily needs. As their health has deteriorated over time, it is reassuring that their care package has altered and tailored for their needs. It is reassuring and takes the stress away that their care is always a high priority to Unique Senior Care.
Unique has been wonderful in their care. Their carers are so kind and go above and beyond and I know I can always rely on them to be on time and do whatever I ask them to do. They have helped me regain my confidence and independence.
The post-operative care was just as needed for help with making bed/dressing/laundry and hair washing in the 5 days after discharge from a total hip replacement and an inpatient stay of 32 hours.
All the carers are very friendly, helpful, caring and professional. They provided my mum with respect and dignity and were very kind. The carers are hardworking and willing to do housework during the visit, which was an enormous help to us. We used Unique Senior Care on a short-term contract, whilst I recovered from a major operation (as, I am Mum's full-time carer normally). I would definitely use them again and thank you.
My experience with Unique Home Care is very satisfactory. Carers are good timekeepers and friendly. It takes half an hour to help me shower, treat my legs and get dressed, and considering they only have an hour. My choice, one hour, twice a week. I find the more mature carers the best, if I am not too well, feeling low or a bit depressed, they pick up on it and will do other small jobs for me. If there is time, they make coffee, which we have together. It is nice when someone makes me a drink, then we chat about their family and I chat about my three great-grandchildren and between us we try to put the world right. Not bad all in one hour!
I have used Unique Senior Care for a number of years (my mother has advanced dementia). They provide excellent care and I would highly recommend them. The carers are professional and caring and a pleasure to be around.
My first experience of Unique was for my husband who had dementia. The carers were excellent helping him to shower and shave when he wouldn't let me help him. When I needed care myself, Unique was the obvious choice for me. I have been very happy and satisfied with the service I have received and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
