My mother has been receiving help and care from Home Instead Watford for nearly three years, the care provision from the whole team has been excellent. The care professionals have been fantastic, always very friendly, professional, caring and instinctive to my mother's needs. The dedication from Mum's main carers have been exceptional, providing outstanding care and support. The office team again have been brilliant, very supportive of changing requirements. I would highly recommend Home Instead, thank you all.

We used Home Instead Watford for 15 months. I was so pleased that my elderly parents were being taken care of as I was living 100 miles away in Kent. Lovely ladies, very professional and nothing was too much bother. They actually made an effort to get to know them. If ever problems did arise I could always contact the office and things would get sorted, like getting extra cover for my dad when he came out of hospital on two occasions. My mum was so reluctant and adamant she didn't want carers but when they moved to Kent to be nearer to me she was quite upset to be leaving them. This just goes to show how caring the whole team were. Thank you and would highly recommend this team of carers to someone out there looking for help.

We have been delighted with Home Instead's services over the past year. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and Mum's regular carer was exceptional. I know Mum will miss her very much. We can't recommend this company highly enough.

We have been very happy with the service that Home Instead Watford have been providing for my mum and dad. We have been using them for the past two or three years to care for my dad who is now 94 and partially sighted and very frail. My mum as his carer has recently had an operation and we needed some extra help over her six weeks recovery. The carers have been very kind and helpful and the administration team have worked really hard to make sure that we had carers in place for meal times and when needed. Thank you and would highly recommend.

It was a very worrying time when my husband came from hospital, having been there for five months, after having an extensive surgery that had left him with two stomas and permanently disabled. I realised that I would not be able to cope on my own and reached out to Home Instead Watford to see if they could help me. My husband was only 58 so the right carers had to be in place to enable a bit of banter but also to be strong with him and encourage physiotherapy and eating. The team that was sent in were fantastic and it was the same three carers the vast majority of the time. My husband actually started to look forward to seeing them and it gave me the respite I needed and time to do some other chores at home. We used the service for a few months until my husband could cope on his own. Thank you Home Instead Watford for being so amazing!

The Home Instead (Watford) team have been really fantastic, providing personalised and compassionate care for our step-mother who has dementia. Despite a lot of resistance from her - she has always been adamant that she will not have any help - the team's gentle and sensitive approach has meant that within a week of the care package starting she is happily accepting help, and is clearly enjoying the companionship of the carers. We have all been extremely impressed and would highly recommend this service.

Fabulous response from Home Instead, when my Mother was taken ill, on a Sunday evening, whilst I was out of the country. The team are so dedicated to their clients and they sorted out cover and all-night care (involving 2 other Caregivers). I cannot tell you how much this meant to my Mother and myself. Thanks - you are a great team.

The agency Home Instead provided a warm and trusting service. Carers were excellent and displayed empathy towards my husband, especially his main carer who was always happy and smiling. Your coordinator was kind and showed understanding of our needs. The agency always informed us if there was any delay in carers' attendance.

My mum was cared for by the Watford Team from Oct 2019 to Oct 2020. Whilst Professionalism in Care is expected, it is the manner in which the team delivered that Care which was such a joy for us. Mum had been blind for 4 years and had become extremely hard of hearing so to allow her to remain within an environment which she knew well and was comfortable in was a blessing. The team assessed her needs and made detailed plans for her daily morning care. These plans were always well understood by each member of the team that came for mum's care. Handover from one team member to others as the need arose was always done in person and the new team member was introduced to us and to mum so that there was full continuity. Each team member was friendly, chatty and created a 'bond' between themselves and mum. It was this 'bond' of friendship that mum cherished and gave us immense peace of mind. Towards the end, they were looking after mum twice a day and were always flexible. Thank you!

My father and I have been very happy with the care he has received over the last 18-months. He speaks very fondly of his carers, and it is great that the same small group visited him as this allowed him to build a relationship with them. They have all been kind and patient with him and have left me notes on shopping and personal items he required, which helped me a lot. I have been impressed by the carers' professionalism and appreciate it has been especially challenging for them to deliver care during the current covid19 pandemic. Their support has enabled him to stay in his own home for longer, and I am grateful for this.

The first time I have needed to use carers so have no means of comparison. I have found the company very efficient always phoning back to answer questions. The carers were always punctual, kind and thoughtful. They have become friends. I trust them to take care of me.

Home Instead provided a superb package of care for my 96-year-old father at very short notice. The three carers involved were quite lovely and the agency was quick to respond to changing circumstances and extremely friendly and efficient throughout. We were really impressed and are extremely grateful.

We have nothing but praise for the team at Watford. We found ourselves in a sticky situation as our previous care provider gave us 4 days notice in which to find alternative care for our Mum who is 85 and has dementia. The manager of the carers immediately realised how tricky our situation was and with a real sense of urgency pulled out the stops not only to provide cover but to ensure that the team members were a good match for Mum's personality and individual situation. Our two main carers provided not only care but friendship and lots of laughter and we have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead Senior Care (Watford) to anyone needing care services for their loved ones. Many thanks to the whole team for everything you did to ensure Mum was well cared for and happy!

My 90-year-old sister-in-law has been receiving excellent care from Home Instead for a number of years. She is a very independent lady but gets on very well with her carer and feels comfortable and safe. When my daughter in law needed to go on holiday but needed care for her terminally ill mother I recommended she contact Home Instead in Winchester. Given the short time scale to arrange assistance the response was both immediate and positive. The family enjoyed their holiday and mother was very relaxed and happy with her carer.

Excellent care provided by the carer, she is extremely capable and exceptionally friendly. We have also greatly supported by the local management team, who are very responsive to our needs. Of particular importance is client-centred care, keeping to one main carer and flexibility. Our present carer fulfils all the requirements, as supported by her management team, so we remain very grateful to Home Instead Senior Care (Watford).

We have been very happy with the service that Home Instead Watford have been providing for my mum and dad.
