View Full Details of Agincare Newcastle-Under-Lyme (Home Care & Live-in Care)My Mum receives 2 calls a day. Morning to help with personal care, food preparation (breakfast and sandwich for later in the day), medication and ensuring areas are clean and tidy. I had an evening call to administer medication and prepare drinks and tidy dishes.. Throughout the calls, the carers are kind, considerate, and respectful and chat with Mum about what she has been doing. There is good communication between carers and family, and the office team are easy to contact and responds appropriately when necessary. The support provided by the care team is a valuable part of Mum's daily routine.
Attentive and friendly staff. Visit 4 times daily, always when expected. Father is the client he is happy with the service provided and is comfortable with the carers in attendance. More than happy with our choice of service provider.
All of the carers that call to deal with my dad are professional, friendly and eager to help. The management team are very easy to access and deal with. Special thanks to them.
Amazing care the carer looked after Dad so kindly until he passed away and he now looks after Mum fits in like one of our family we are so lucky to have peace of mind with Mum from this wonderful team. Thanks always.
My father has received 4 calls a day from morning to bedtime for a number of years. His carer provides him with excellent service undertaking his personal care, food preparation and numerous medications etc. He's always on time, approachable and very knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble. The care my father receives is excellent as he can be quite demanding due to his dementia. Having such a good carer allows me to have peace of mind knowing his needs are being met.
Carers from Agincare visit my mother 4 times a day at home. Mum has dementia and mobility problems. The carers are so good with her. They understand her condition and have a lot of patience with her. I have been on holiday recently and they went above and beyond by taking her for little walks which she really enjoyed.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful. On-time with visit. I disagree with having to give twenty-four hours' notice to cancel a visit, especially when it is a fall on the same day as the visit.
My disabled son receives 2 visits a day from the carers. On arrival the carers demonstrate support, care and friendliness to both my son and family. This has been much appreciated. However due to many changes in the care staff, this does affect my son who needs time to get familiar with new staff and for them to understand his disability needs. The carers are punctual and responsive to any questions and queries that are asked. Management are also very approachable and friendly with any queries asked.
I find the carers to be punctual (traffic and other unavoidable factors permitting), courteous, friendly, patient and conscientious. Basically, they do all that can be expected in the time they are given. It would be nice to maintain continuity by having the same care staff more often, but appreciate this isn't always possible. The management are quick to act on any changes relating to the care and to pass on to their staff any instructions given by medical professionals.
My husband had a stroke which unfortunately left him with right-side weakness, no speech hardly and he has to be prompted to do certain things. Agincare carers looked after him while I had respite! They were fantastic! He was so contented and well-fed! I have and will be having Agincare again whilst I have a break, I can go away and don’t have to worry about him. Easy to contact and always very happy to help with any questions or concerns I had.
My visits get later and later some days, which I am not happy about. I prefer to have the same two carers as I know them and they know my routine. I don't like having new people all the time.
A carer has to toe a very shaky road to give good care, respect and trust, this can be difficult if the client is difficult. In our respect, I think that all these criteria have been met. The carers are aware that this is our home and we are aware that they are giving care with compassion. We look forward to their arrival, polite greetings all round, and comfortable chats. They are a credit to Agincare.
We are very happy with the care given. Very happy with the office staff.
My experience with Agincare Newcastle-Under-Lyme (Home Care & Live-in Care) has been overall good, as below. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting a variety of colours, nationalities and backgrounds Everyone has been very kind and helpful. I have only one complaint - timing anytime from 9:15 to 10:30. Fortunately I am homebound so it is only when I want to go to church that it matters.
