View Full Details of Carefound Home Care (Harrogate)I am grateful for the help and service from 5 carers.
Well trained good quality carers who have become our friends. Very good in emergency / difficult situations. Weekly rotas very good & helpful. Carers have individual strengths and skills and a broad age range.
Very good.
Been very happy with the service provided. All the carers that visit me are kind and conscientious in their jobs. Having the carers visit daily has made a huge difference to my quality of life and I always look forward to seeing whoever it is who is due to call.
Mum has had Carefound for a few months now. The care team is usually able to cover most shifts and Mum (as well as family) find the carers are polite and helpful. The carers tend to take their initiative and, using the app, we are kept updated with any issues. On the odd occasion where support has been required for a last minute scenario (out of the planned care) the team has looked for ways to support, mainly related to GP requests.
We require only minimal assistance at the moment and Carefound have been able to provide just what we have asked for. They have been reliable and consistent. They are easily contactable, act on any feedback and actively seek comments and updates.
This is the start of our home care journey and so far so good, my parents have been very happy with the standard of care received in their home. Visits are timely and the care received is professional and sensitive.
Mum requires 24-hour live-in care and support. The 2 ladies that stay with Mum are amazing. They both bring different things to the package, which I feel helps Mum. They both understand how Mum's mind works and know when she requires her own space. Mum is given the chance to make her own choices and is assisted to help complete everyday tasks. It has taken time, but Mum now accepts the care in place to keep her at home.
Satisfactory.
Since we started using Care Services for the first time, they have improved our quality of life. They are well-trained, punctual and caring. Nothing is too much trouble.
Our experience with Carefound has been first-class all round.
I have an hour’s personal care three times a week, and am very satisfied with the service. The staff are very friendly and helpful and arrive promptly. I would be happy to recommend Carefound to my friends.
Everything is working perfectly with the carer system. I would like to thank the carers and say that it's a pleasure to have them in the house. They do an excellent job and I look forward to their visits.
We have been working with Carefound for a year now. It feels as though family and carers are one team supporting Dad to live in his own home and be independent for as long as possible, as this is what he wants. If it wasn't for Carefound and their caring, patient carers, Dad would not have been able to live on his own for this length of time. I can happily recommend Carefound to anyone who is trying to support and vulnerable person to live in their home. A big thank you to everyone at Carefound.
I have eight ladies that call during the month three times a day. I have been very pleased with their services and enjoy their company. My comment is that the changes are greater than the increase in my pension and I worry about the day when I cannot afford them.
My father used Carefound Harrogate for 16 months when a trip to the hospital and subsequent operation and illness meant his needs changed dramatically. The office team were caring, compassionate, reliable and supportive during a very difficult period with our care requirements changing what felt like daily, whilst we navigated Dad's discharge from the hospital and recovery from illness until we once again reached the balance we needed. Communication was excellent, I was listened to and heard by the office team who worked wonders to put people in place. The carers themselves, both Dad's regular faces and every single new face (always introduced), were brilliant. They treated Dad with kindness and respect and worked with him to achieve the things that were important to him as well as fulfilling everything we needed to be done to ensure Dad was comfortable. The whole team are fabulous - highly recommended. Thank you Carefound Harrogate - keep up the high standards and wonderful people!
We are delighted with the service that Carefound Home Care (Harrogate) provides. The care, communication, organisation and attention to detail are truly impressive. The ladies are all kind, caring, helpful, interested, genuine, respectful and very friendly. They have really helped to restore my father's well-being. As he can no longer go for a walk every day, he misses chatting to people and so he loves to talk to whichever lady comes in to get him ready for the day. Things that really stand out: the professionalism of the ladies, the genuine interest they take in their client, their health and well-being, the time they take to chat at the end of the hour, the personal introduction by the manager when a new carer starts, the rota being sent out for the following week. My mother was adamant she did not want carers but she would be the first to say how wonderful they all are and what a huge difference it has made. Our whole family (all seven of us) are so relieved to have Carefound!
Having had no previous experience of care providers, my sister and I were extremely anxious when first considering a care package for our mother. Mum is extremely independent, there was no doubt that she wanted to remain in her own home but it was becoming increasingly difficult for her to cope alone given her dementia. We need not have been concerned as the Carefound Home Care team were sensitive and empathetic to our needs from the start. This made the whole process easy. They have provided a level of care that is perfect for Mum's current requirements. We are thankful that the carers that visit Mum on a daily basis are the same regular smiling faces. The care and companionship provided by her carers have been exemplary. As our mother's condition deteriorates, we are confident of Carefound's ability to provide additional support to her and to us. We couldn't recommend Carefound highly enough.
Following a lengthy period of ill health - my wife has struggled with Alzheimer's dementia for the past ten years - I finally agreed with well-meaning family, friends and medics that committing to home care should make life a good bit easier for both of us. That said, I still found the prospect of inviting 'strangers' into the house to help my wife with a miscellany of personal services rather daunting. Having sought advice from dementia support advisers and others in a similar position to ourselves, I then carefully considered which of the numerous local home care providers looked best placed to meet our needs. Research complete, Carefound Home Care topped the list and, from my first toe-in-water phone call, cake-munching meeting with the care manager and introductions to my wife's two carers, we knew we'd found a perfect fit. The care plan works well, the service provided can't be faulted and, happily, my wife looks forward to regular visits from her two, new, very best friends.
Carefound Home Care was recommended to me by a colleague and I am so grateful. My father had recently died and I had a long-planned trip to Australia coming up and needed care for my mother in my absence. From the moment Carefound came to do the initial assessment, I knew it was a good fit. They are friendly, empathetic and extremely conscientious. My mother liked them immediately and this has continued with all of the carers that have visited her. I would not hesitate to recommend them, they have been a great addition to our lives and have certainly enriched my mother’s life with their visits.
