View Full Details of Caremark OldhamThis company offer a fantastic service. Proactive and caring. We are all very pleased with the services they are offering. One of the staff goes above and beyond our expectations. We have recommended the company to friends.
All the staff are lovely, they are very professional and treat me with dignity and respect. Nothing is to much trouble, ask them to do anything and they will. They interact with me so well and I feel I can have a good moan to them.
Caremark has provided a great twice daily care support service to my elderly mother for more than four years. I have always been impressed by their staff at both manager and carer level. I am very happy to recommend them to anyone requiring additional trusted and considerate home care support for a loved one.
I find all the carers very helpful and punctual on time. I have no complaint whatsoever that I cannot deal with to my satisfaction. My daughter was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. Actual age 51 years. Mental age approximately 18 months. Does not walk, does not talk, but recognises her carers by their voices and always ready for them with a smile. The work they do is much appreciated by myself and my daughter.
Difficult times. The death of a husband, old age and dementia made life difficult for Mum. We decided that her home was her memory box and staying there was essential. With little family nearby Caremark (Oldham) stepped into the gap. They provided the kind, supportive care which enabled Mum to have 4 extra years of high quality independent living. They have been professional and supportive to all the family. But most of all they were great for Mum.
A nice level of care and understanding, that has continuously evolved to an excellent itinerary for my grandma. Our regular carers are always helpful and uplifting, and my nan has built a lovely rapport with her main carer that attends mostly here. If there have ever been any amendments needed within my grandma’s care or her needs, the carers and office have been very responsive and adaptive to any requests. Thank you so much for everything so far!
Caremark has recently been assisting with the care needs of my elderly Aunt, who has moderate special needs/learning difficulties. They have been outstanding with her and have been so attentive to her needs. The biggest credit has to go to one lady, who has cared for her most. Little things like when making her a sandwich and cake, just making it look so presentable. Listening to her needs and learning of her days gone by. It makes a massive difference when they have the social interaction that is so lacking in so many of elderly peoples lives. The manager was very informative with everything, and if I ever had to ring the office, no matter who answered the phone, I was greeted with a polite, pleasant and helpful, person. What more could anyone ask for? Every week I was sent via e-mail a sheet that had been filled in by carers, so I knew exactly what was going on and moreover that Aunties needs were being met! So a massive, thank you to you all.
I have recently been away for a 3 week holiday and felt very nervous about leaving my mum, who has dementia, for that length of time. She often “sundowns” so the more risky time of day for her is in the evening and she doesn’t sometimes realise it is time to go to bed. So we asked Caremark Oldham to come in at 10pm every evening to check on her, settle her if necessary and encourage her to go to bed. They did a fantastic job. They recognised that mum would be more settled if she had the same carer visiting every day and they facilitated this. They also responded well to her needs so if she was fine they just popped in and left quite quickly as this was what she wanted but on the odd occasion they needed to settle her, they stayed longer and didn’t leave until they were happy she was OK. And they kept me informed with regular updates which were very reassuring. Thank you to everyone involved with my mum’s care. I won’t hesitate to use Caremark again in the future.
I am writing to you to let you know how happy I am with your service. My son has been allocated a specific carer to take him out socially once a week. This carer is a lovely young man who is very punctual and comes early to plan their outing. My son has autism and struggles with social communication but this carer seems to bring him out of his shell and my son always comes home happy. I would have no hesitation to recommend your services to anyone else who needs a carer. Please pass on my praise to my son's care, who is a credit to your service.
I am so pleased with the support that has been provided for my mum by staff, they have gone the extra mile to ensure that my mum is cared for in the best possible way. My mum had a recent issue with ants that she and I were struggling to get rid of, but the staff at Caremark supported us in finding out the best method to get rid of them, even spending time to research online. My mum and I are really thankful for their support and the way that they stepped in to help us.
My mum has recently started having companionship care from Caremark (Oldham). After a very negative experience with a previous agency mum was not keen on trying again. However, the carer visited her twice last week and mum has been absolutely delighted. She has gone from dreading and trying to cancel visits and always cutting them very short to being really enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoying her time with the carer. Many thanks, Caremark (Oldham) for supporting mum and making such a positive change.
Caremark has provided some fantastic carers for our mum. Carers understand her dementia and manages all her needs better that we ever expected. Our mum has missed male company since my dad died and a visit and a cup of tea with her carer makes her day. My sister and I have both recently been away on holiday and Caremark have managed our mum with skills beyond what we expected. Regular communications during this period, particularly from her carer were very reassuring. We are so pleased with the care from Caremark that we are increasing the care hours for our mum, so we can have more time to enjoy our own children and grandchildren.
Very good service very helpful. The client enjoys going out with her care support worker and no problems to report.
As a husband of the resident, I am subject to concerns about my wife and I am struggling and stressful on a day to day basis, some days more than others. I have needed help on occasions and to this end, the care manager and her assistant manager have been extremely helpful to me and recently went the extra mile and more. If I could, I would award them 5 gold stars. They were superb. Thank you very very much. I am so appreciative.
Living overseas, Caremark has given me and my siblings some peace of mind that our parents are receiving care in their own home, without which they would almost certainly have had to be admitted to a nursing home, against their wishes. Generally speaking, the responsiveness of management to our requests and the degree of information provided to us on a regular basis has been excellent. The daily staff who attend to my parents have been very good in general with one or two absolutely excellent carers who go above and beyond. Caremark have always been willing to try to accommodate all requests and also been proactive in liaising with community services to ensure the best care of our parents when we all are living overseas. I would not hesitate to recommend Caremark services to other families requiring care for loved ones in their own home.
I feel that my sister has been very well looked after by Caremark. There have been a few issues on both sides which have been resolved but mainly due to circumstances at the time or clash of personalities with staff, nothing major!
We would recommend Caremark Oldham. All the carers were helpful, punctual, smartly dressed and pleasant. At the time my father-in-law needed home care they were the only company available for his needs at that time.
Caremark is very good, especially 2 members of the team, who regularly support 7 evenings to get my girls ready for bed. They are very good supporting my two young children, making sure they are ready and dressed for school. Each weekend they take my girls to the park. The field care supervisor goes above and beyond.
I am aged 85 years and have recently spent a short time in hospital due to pneumonia. On my discharge, my family, who are scattered, voiced concern over my taking regular baths unaided and alone in my home. Solution - engage a 'bath lady' for each evening to be in my home when I took a bath and make me a cup of tea before leaving. Result - no worries for my family and luxury for me.
I have no complaints with the service provided and my parents are always complimentary of the Caremark staff who attend to their needs which is quite important to them. Occasional changes to the requirements are managed well. Keep up the good work, Thanks.
