View Full Details of Eden Care At HomeWell-trained staff who anticipate client needs and are proactive. Good command of English. Don't hesitate to overstay if needed. Well-managed agency, quick to respond if there are any changes in client's requirements.
My care company conducted a review and interview to assess my requirements and needs and provided a carer for me to interview luckily we hit it off at the first meet. The care company provides supervision of my carer and detailed all of my medications with times to be taken, they provide a weekly schedule of the proposed visits and stick to the times they also provide accurate invoices. My carer treats me with dignity and respect and assists me in the most personal of requirements, she also accompanies me to the GP and Consultant ensuring I get the chance to fully explain my condition we also occasionally go shopping. The carers also corrected my requirements from the NHS supplier so l now have the products I need. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Edencare have been incredibly supportive and responsive to my Dad and our needs. The care is exemplary and from their first visits, we felt able to establish a trusting relationship with our carer and the wider admin team. After two months of coping on our own, it was such a relief to our family, to be able to share the care of our father with such professional and caring people.
Remaining in her own home and living within the community she knew well was very important to my godmother but age and infirmity were making this increasingly difficult. The team at Eden Care At Home listened carefully to my godmother's wishes and chose a live-in carer who has given her back the confidence to meet up with her friends and rejoin the community she missed.
From first meeting Eden Care a few months ago and talking through options to them starting a couple of months ago I have found them professional and helpful as well as friendly and approachable. The carers have been lovely and done an excellent job and we would highly recommend the company.
Eden Care at Home have provided wonderful care over the past 6 years for both my parents in the most challenging times of their lives, all made so much harder by the fact my sister and I live so far away. We started with a carer once a day, then progressed to 4 visits a day and finally, we have had the best live-in carer for the past 5 years. All your carers have been great, but the (Live-in carer) has been exceptional, her compassion and her warmth for Mum and indeed the whole family have been wonderful and her nursing skills have proved invaluable, allowing Mum to remain in her own home for longer than we thought possible.
My mum has been able to stay in her own home for 5 years because of the wonderful care she has received from her live-in carer who has become a much valued member of our family. She treated our Mum with dignity and compassion. We will forever be grateful to her for enabling Mum to stay at home for longer than we thought possible.
My sense of balance has gone and the strength in my left leg is unreliable. I needed someone to make sure I don't fall and crack my skull in the shower. Eden Care have provided exactly the support I need. A different care professional each visit but all on time, friendly and competent. It's been a great relief.
Eden Care have been very helpful to my elderly father. Although we are new clients, the staff have been reliable and caring. They have assisted my father with general day-to-day living and personal care.
The team at Eden Care are very helpful, caring, and supportive in catering for my mother's needs. The staff are always friendly and in addition to carrying out the care support, they help provide much needed personal contact which for someone living on their own is very important. There is also continuity of staff which helps. Communication from the office is also very good and they always look to meet any specific requests we may have.
Flexible company with timings, can do short visits or longer as required. This is very helpful to have flexibility as and when. Friendly consistent staff who have a good rapport with my child with good understanding of Special Education Needs. More time needs to be allowed for carers to get from appointment to appointment to allow for traffic. Company listens well to the needs of the client and matches the carer well to the service user.
All the carers we have are very polite, respect the client's dignity and explain to the client what they are doing and asking permission to carry out their duties. They are usually very punctual according to the rota and ask us if anything else needs doing. Overall very pleased with the care we have received over the last 7 or 8 months (and in fact when the client was in hospital recently and we had to start a new care package I specifically asked for Eden Care as continuity for a dementia patient is so important). Only small criticism is we don't always get the rota on time and would prefer to have it emailed which I have asked but only get the week I ask for it. An automatic weekly email would be great, but this is just a tiny criticism and otherwise the care is excellent.
My husband was taken into hospital with pneumonia. I knew when he came home we would need help. Not having had to do this before I asked friends and groups locally for advice as to who we might ask. Eden Care at Home came up several times and with very good reviews. We were told my husband would be coming home on several occasions but it didn’t happen. All the time Eden stood by in case we needed them that day. It was last minute when it did happen and Eden were there. They sent carers twice a day - to help my husband get ready for bed and then again in the morning to assist him in showering, dressing and walking down the stairs. We had several different carers and all were very pleasant and gave the help we expected and needed in a cheerful fashion. We will definitely be using them again in the future.
The team assisted my husband mornings and evenings for the last three years and I found all the carers very helpful, caring and understanding. Sadly my husband has now died and I miss the carers cheerful visits. As much supportive for me as my husband.
Staff are reliable. We can be confident that my mother-in-law will receive the care we have specified. It is not always easy to remain calm and cheerful with someone whose memory loss is upsetting them but staff always seem able to do this.
Eden Care have some outstanding carers who really go the extra mile. I am disabled and require 4 visits a day. In the 4 years they have been caring for me there have been some inevitable ups and downs but overall they have been very good, including during covid 19. There have been some changes in management and staff recently, much for the better. I am happy with the care I receive and look forward to many more years of their very caring service.
It was only about 10 days before Christmas that my family decided that I would need extra help - at a particularly busy time, with which I totally agreed. My two carers, each for 5 days, were wonderfully caring; nothing too much trouble; a little more anglicised cooking might have been helpful! The staff who visited me for the first time did wonders to find me excellent carers at such a difficult time. Thank you so much.
I find Eden Care very good the carers are thoughtful and very good with my 92-year-old mother, the person in the office is very efficient as well. I would also like to add the carers are always on time but if they are running late due to a previous call either they or the office will call to advise me.
Eden has supplied live-in carers for the past four years to look after my wife, who has Alzheimer's and has had two strokes. I have found the company excellent, professional, friendly and helpful. They maintained very high standards for their staff, and I have been very satisfied.
I have no quarrel with the level of care given by anyone that has come. However, in a meeting, before I started, it was agreed that the same two girls should be sent. I realised that this is not always possible, but what I object to most strongly is no notification of this. A letter is sent each week giving timings for visits, but this is often changed, and we are not told. Surely, we could be notified by phone?
