Home Instead have been a huge help to us during the decline of my father due to dementia and other illnesses. They have juggled and upped the care accordingly until my father had to go into a care home. His often challenging behaviour was never an issue for them and we received regular calls and feedback from them. All the carers were amazing and seemed to go that extra mile always. We are so grateful.

Having never employed a live-in carer my wife and I were interested in a brief, 48-hour stay to see how it might meet her needs since she is wheelchair-bound and in her twenty-first year of Parkinson's. From the moment the carer arrived there was a sense that our decision was the right one. Her warm personality and instant friendliness instilled a feeling of confidence, allowing me to go away secure in the knowledge that all would be well. As I found out on my return all the challenges of care had been dealt with extremely well and my wife had made a new friend whose company she genuinely enjoyed. Without question, we'll be using this outstanding service again. Many thanks to all concerned.

My husband was very well cared for over a 48-hour period by his carer. The carer was very understanding and sympathetic to his needs. It was the first time that we had used Home Instead and it won't be the last.

Home Instead was recommended to me by relatives. My mom needed consistent carers who she knows and come regularly so we opted for Home Instead. The carers show an interest in what Mum likes to do and talk about, giving social interaction as well as hygiene 'bathing' visits. My mom can be 'difficult' at times and the staff are friendly and caring. It's a 'day off' for the family when they visit instead.

Home Instead have provided support for my father over the difficult past few months. Both the management staff and care helpers have all been very kind, considerate and very flexible in what has been a swiftly changing set of circumstances. Without their help life would have been intolerable for my dad. I'd highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a quality care provider.

Home Instead have been providing additional care for my mother for several years now and are very helpful and accommodating, but above all the staff are extremely friendly, courteous and interested in what they are doing. They are always very polite and respectful. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to others seeking care in the home.

Home Instead are very accommodating in providing the help and care you require. They don't dictate what they can provide, they let you tell them what you need. The carers that came were all extremely friendly and well-trained. A very reliable service.

Home Instead was very helpful and worked really hard to get my friend's needs met in an efficient and friendly way. Unfortunately, my friend decided to cease the care provided as she wanted to try on her own and save her money.

I can't fault the care my father-in-law received from Home Instead. The carers were all lovely and so kind to him. As well as doing the jobs needed for his physical care they went over and above to support his mental health too. My father-in-law has dementia and they always made sure to check his diary and prepare him for anything happening that day and they left him little notes with smiley faces to remind him. If there were any problems at all they'd stay and wait with him until we could get there and they gave us full daily breakdowns of what they'd done and how he was. The management were professional and supportive and responded to changes very quickly. You hear a lot of horror stories in the world of care but I can't praise Home Instead enough. In today's world it's rare to get a company that is exemplary in their service, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The only word that comes to mind is outstanding. They have looked after my mother for a number of years providing excellent care. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff will go the extra mile to make sure my mother is well cared for. Feedback is very good and the emergency call-out works very well. If you need care at home then Home Instead Market Harborough should be your first port of call.

My sister and I have peace of mind that our mum and stepfather are well cared for each day as we don’t live too close. Both are happy with the carers who visit and appreciate the help and support given to them. Carers often go above and beyond what they are there for.

I am a case manager for a young man with an incomplete spinal cord injury and incontinence. Home Instead was very kind to come at short notice for a meeting at his home, along with a specialist nurse. They were friendly and professional and had such a kind easy manner putting my client and his mother at ease. The carers joined some specialist training and then supported my client through December and into the early part of 2023. They arranged for a small team to come and supported his morning routines with dignity. My client said, "they were good, and we could keep that team in mind for later". Communication with the manager was so easy via telephone and email. No fuss and no drama - highly professional.

In the last few years as our health has deteriorated we have used Home Instead services to care for us. The care offered has been of a high standard given by staff who care for us as individuals. The carers are well trained in the care package that you need but are flexible tor respond to changed or deterioration of an individual's health. We have always been treated with dignity and the carers are responsive and include the whole family. The whole team, including the managers and office staff are fantastic and we feel safe in their hands.

Home Instead have been very helpful for my mother as Dad, the primary career for Mum, had an operation and was not able to care for Mum. Mum loves having her caregivers as they provide her a personal touch. This has helped Dad relax and recover and live his life without worrying about Mum.

Home Instead (Market Harborough, Corby & Oakham) was highly recommended to us by a friend and we haven’t been disappointed. We are pleased to have continuity with the same carers, who are professional and very thoughtful always. Nothing is rushed and dignity is paramount. We were especially pleased that a trained nurse is available to support the carers when necessary. We’re very happy that we chose Home Instead.

This is to record our unspeakable thanks to the care team who stood in our place for Dad recently. Dad significantly lost mobility after a fall and hospital stay. Home Instead were there for us when we needed them most. They certainly lived up to their logo, ’to us it’s personal’. When the nearest of our family were two hours’ drive away and Dad was short of medication, getting in a muddle, or needing personal help with getting up and getting dressed and personal care, they were there! Their attitude at all times on the telephone was one of ‘can do' where reassurance to a panicking distant relative was what was most needed. We were reassured on several occasions that they would ‘sort it out’ and would be there for Dad, and they really were. Their professionalism was exemplary, enabling a dignified elderly gentleman to receive personal care without embarrassment. Their practical abilities to sort a situation and give personal, attentive care are very much appreciated. Thank you so much!

I was delighted with the tactful care and concern shown by carers, it was like having a friend (a good friend) in the house with both carers. I never felt tense or anxious - the care was not only excellent it was also unobtrusive. The care the Home Instead carer gave was light years better than that I experienced via other agencies. I cannot recommend them (Home Instead) too highly.

I can't fault the care my father-in-law received from Home Instead. The carers were all lovely and so kind to him.
