View Full Details of Bluebird Care SwindonMy carers are kind and helpful. They listen to me and try to help me as much as possible. They are fun to be with and are able to make suggestions about things I can do.
Bluebird Care has maintained an excellent level of service throughout 2023, with great communication and support to all of our requirements. My father continues to be well supported and able to live an independent and quality lifestyle.
I have found everyone to be very helpful and pleasant to talk to.
The care provided by the carers is excellent. They ensure dignity is kept at all times along with understanding and sympathy towards his condition. All tasks are met at all times and communication with us as a family is thorough.
We were so thankful that care could be provided at such short notice, it really took the stress away from a very stressful situation and gave us as the family peace of mind. We want to say thank you so much.
Bluebird Care in Swindon provides a professional, friendly and very caring service. The management are well organised and will always try to accommodate the times of the carer's visit to suit the person being cared for. You are given a weekly timetable showing the date, time and name of the carer, which is so useful, as you always know who is coming into your family’s home. The management and the carers treat the person they are caring for with the utmost kindness, patience and dignity.
Very pleased and efficient.
I have been grateful for the friendly, efficient help. It is a great support to me.
Generally good.
The response to my needs has been exemplary from the three main carers I have received during the last five and a half months to date. I cannot fault any of them in any way. They are always happy, courteous and funny. That is exactly what is required, long may it continue.
I think they are a good company. New carers are sent to observe and to help with tea calls with a known carer. The people are very nice and very understanding. If a carer doesn't call you can phone oncall.
Bluebird try to give you the same carer all the time, and when that carer is having a break they try to give you the same relief carers, so the carers know my mother and my mother is familiar with the carers. You get a schedule, so you know when the carers are due, and they do tend to be on schedule. During the peak of the Covid Lockdown, my mother had the same carer for months, so she was only exposed to one person. (She won the top award for domiciliary care in a competition run by the Local Paper for her commitment during this period). The office ring on rare occasions when something has happened and they can't keep to the schedule. The carers are very attentive and are on the lookout for anything that has changed and may need watching or discussing with a doctor. Whenever possible, any new carers shadow the regular carer (free of charge) before they attend on a solo visit. They are always friendly and do a good job.
My main carer has helped me come to terms with a diagnosed addiction from my psychologist. It has been very difficult facing up to this but the support I have had from all my carers and the office has been exemplary. They not only support me with physical issues but also mental health ones too. For example, this week my main carer went with me to investigate local disabled accessible kayaking and was able to ask the questions that we needed answers to. As a result, I will be attending a taster session with the hope of starting in the season restart in March. My Bluebird carers facilitate me feeling as independent as possible and allow me space to discuss things that are on my mind without judgment. When my mood is low they gently lift me without being overpowering. Bluebird Swindon is amazing and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others that need assistance with daily living.
Bluebird Care has always responded helpfully to my mother's needs. Their healthcare visitor is attentive and caring and communicates well with me. They have been very flexible with holidays and special occasions and are always available on the phone.
I have found both my personal carers to be friendly, helpful, caring and considerate. However, the office omits now to advise me of any change of carers and I am never advised of any change. As a patient the emphasis now seems to have shifted, the patient needs coming second. However, I appreciate change is inevitable but that can be on both sides as I am paying.
From the outset, I have found Bluebird Care very reliable and helpful. My carers are all helpful and a joy to have come into my home. Any deadlines with the office have been good.
Always punctual, dependable, efficient, kind, friendly and caring. Very knowledgeable and helpful in providing guidance and advice to the client and me her husband.
I've had care for mum for approximately 3 months and found Bluebird to be a professional and compassionate care provider. The contact with the office is always good and help and advice are freely given. We would have no problem recommending them in the future.
Bluebird has been visiting dad for a few years now usually the same staff attend which helps them to get to know dad and vice versa. His usual carers go over and above and call me if she has any concerns, recently she felt dad was unwell which indeed he was and as a result called 999 and he was admitted to hospital. The continuity of the carers I am sure helped hugely in her recognising he was so poorly. Well done team keep it up.
What distinguishes one caring company from another is the quality of the front line staff - the carers. A good carer is loyal to both the client and the company. This is not easy to achieve but when it is the carer can become part of the client's family. I have been with Bluebird Swindon for some years now and have had three regular carers during that period all of whom achieved this status. My carers are excellent. I am very particular but they know my expectations, how I think and anticipate my needs well. I trust them implicitly. This is can only be demonstrated by a company with extremely high standards which it supports by first-class training programs developed over many years. Additionally, the front line staff can only perform well when they are supported by the office staff and management. I have to say my carers have never complained about their support. To summarise - a very good professional company at every level. I have no intention of moving.
