View Full Details of Bluebird Care Lincoln & South LincolnshireAll carers are professional, polite, engaging, friendly and courteous. Any concerns or problems are dealt with promptly. Communication is very important and have found in our experience with the company it is managed very well. The only negative I can find would be the times of visits sometimes dramatically change. On the whole if it happens I do get notification, I appreciate this is part of the nature of the job and is beyond control. I would definitely recommend Bluebird Care as a very good option.
The Bluebird Care carers who visit me are mostly kind and helpful. Many, especially the more experienced, are observant and use their constructive initiative. However, I do have one carer whose attention wanders - not a danger now, my condition is much improved.
My father at the grand age of 100 and 10 months old lives next door, and although I look after him generally, his personal care and the sitting service when I need to be away from the home is a godsend and we could not function without the help and services of Bluebird Care Lincoln. All the carers and supervisors are professional, caring and understanding and treat my father with the utmost respect at all times. I have no doubts at all in recommending Bluebird care for anyone needed help looking after elderly relatives as in our case. I cannot rate them highly enough and thank them all sincerely for all the help and support they give me too. Of course, sometimes there are emergencies and staff illness etc which sometimes cause delays, but that is life and it sometimes happens, nothing is perfect but this service is pretty close.
My husband is bedbound but is determined to regain enough strength to at least shower, use a commode and be in a wheelchair to access our home and garden. Our carers, every one of them, encourage, praise and treat him professionally, kindly and with smiles. He feels better after each visit.
Well disappointed with this company, management organisation is non-existent. Felt it was more about the money than actually the care of clients. Needs work on communication with different staff saying different things to clients feels like everyone doing their own thing and no unity within the ranks. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. This was my last option before other things were put in place. I just felt like I was a pound sign, not a person.
We were put in contact with Bluebird Care for my mother who is on palliative care by a hospice. The care my mother is receiving has been excellent, friendly and reliable staff who treat my mother with the utmost respect. I wouldn't have any issues in recommending Bluebird Care.
I would like to review the excellent care that the live-in and domiciliary care teams in Lincoln have provided to both of my parents over the last 3 years. My parents came to Bluebird for some support care for my mum who had dementia. This worked very well and your team was excellent. Getting a cup of tea in the morning served to my dad in his office by was (probably) the highlight of his day. The people on the team were first-rate. As things progressed, my dad's health took a turn for the worse and we moved to live in care. One staff member was running the live-in care and she is a first-class member of the team. She got everything right. Even when we had a carer walk out at 6am on Christmas Eve she drove straight up to make sure the care was working and also found another carer to cover. Both of my parents have passed away in the last 9 months, but the care from the Bluebird organisation made a material difference to them both. For this, I will always be grateful.
I am medically trained. A family member of mine needed fast-track home care in Boston. The NHS selected Bluebird Care to provide this in Boston. I had no idea what to expect. I am ashamed to admit some preconceptions of 'carers' especially those provided via NHS funding- surfaced. I looked up Bluebird Care and principally from the reviews on this website and on the search platform, my fears were allayed. What I hoped for was decent care for my close relative but what she received was exceptional. My relative required full personal care and nursing in her hospital bed with appropriate pressure care and turning. I had seven carers in Boston, which I think is the full team, come out to us four times a day. From the first pair of carers to the last pair who cared for my terminally ill relative- the home and personal care provided by Bluebird Care in Lincoln and their team in Boston was phenomenal. Every member of the team was professional, punctual, caring and entirely trustworthy. They were brilliant.
My auntie is over the moon with the care and her carers. She always says how much empathy they have towards her and how good they look after her. It is a peace of mind to know she is in good hands and well looked after! Thank you, Bluebird Care Lincoln; I'm happy she has you around.
Mum was very upset at the thought of needing carers but on meeting her carers she had no worries at all and really looks forward to their visits each week. Everyone is friendly, chatty, respectful and caring.
I am a busy businessman and realised that mum had a mental illness. I went to my GP and was forwarded to some local care agencies including Age UK and Social Services. We met with the manager at Bluebird Care who explained this very clearly and the possible development of mums condition. As my mum condition has worsened Vascular Dementia, Bluebird Care have adapted to meet my needs and requirements. In February when I had Covid-19 they still maintained a full service when I needed it most. The carers are very motivated. professional, polite and caring. I feel we had the very best service available.
Firstly I would like to say how the staff come into your home with a smile on their faces with a good morning how are you both. Then go to the sink and wash their hands and put on new gloves and apron. I have never seen any care service we have had in the past do this. There is nothing too much for them to help and make my husband feel comfortable when they are getting him washed and dressed. They are always laughing and talking to him. A week ago when they arrived my husband was having a seizure, I called for an ambulance and they stayed with me all the time helping me, what a professional pair of ladies. A big thank you to all Bluebird team
Bluebird Care has been wonderfully patient and helpful and encouraging to me. I am sure to all their users. It seems nothing is too difficult for them to do or to sort out which is so encouraging for me.
I am very pleased with all the support I am given as I am 84 and live alone. I am not able to walk without assistance. The carers are excellent and I look forward to each one coming to my home. Most days they are the only people that I see and talk to and have a laugh with. They are a most friendly group of carers. Every day they give me something to look forward to. I can certainly recommend Bluebird to anyone in need of care and support.
Once again, I would like to say a massive thank you to the lovely carers who look after Mum. I live a good way away and aren't able to visit as much as I'd like, particularly over the past year. However, I feel happy that all her needs, physically and mentally are being looked after. The ladies go above and beyond to ensure she has all her needs cared for. Would have no hesitation in recommending them; you can rest easy your loved ones will be looked at as part of these lovely carers extended families.
We were delighted with the service we received from Bluebird Care Lincoln. We emailed many care companies, and Bluebird Care Lincoln quickly got back to us, and the support was put in place in less than a week. All the staff were competent, calm and caring, treating her with dignity and compassion. She received excellent care, and they were very flexible with her changing needs, whilst being supportive to us as a family. We can’t thank them enough.
I am very satisfied with my personal care from the carers and supervisors from both the Grantham and Lincoln offices. Carers are very well trained in all aspects of care. If they are going to be later than the appointed time of their visit I nearly always receive a telephone call to give me a time of arrival. Also, my dignity and privacy are respected at all times.
Carer treats me kindly. Carer is aware of my condition, she is very polite. Careful with my possessions. She assists my husband to use the hoist. Showers me with respect. Makes me a drink if required. Brings me the toothbrush.
Bluebird care is a very professional and caring agency who cared for my mum for just over a year prior to her death. They were extremely flexible in how they provided 24hr care allowing me to work my shift pattern knowing mum was well cared for while I was at work. My mum's main carer was both very caring and professional who provided excellent care to mum and support for dad and me. In the last few months, everyone at the agency was very helpful in supporting my mum's final days at home I cannot thank them enough and would highly recommend them.
Our regular carer is wonderful. She has built up a great rapport with my father and I trust her judgement. In my view, she deserves a pay rise. I hope she is valued highly by the company and continues to visit us for as long as the service is required.
