View Full Details of Cera - Essex and HaveringMy husband has male carers (sometimes ladies will arrive) come in twice a day to get him up, washed, and dressed in the morning, and to get him ready for bed early evenings, he doesn't go to bed until much later. The carers are always friendly, helpful and between my husband and them, they always have a laugh. They are all very professional in their approach and with what they do, and are patient with my husband. I cannot fault these carers for what they do. The timekeeping is usually good. They know that he goes to a day center three days a week, and on those days, arrive early to get him ready. There have been times when they have arrived late for a visit, this can be because of an incident with a previous client that has delayed them. These are a rarity and not common. They always apologize for the late running of the call, and we understand that sometimes things happen that are out of their control. All in all, we both are satisfied with the service we receive from Cera.
Cera had provided Dad with increasing levels of home care for about eighteen months until he recently had to move to a permanent care home. In all this time he received daily support from the team, providing personal care and social interaction. The ladies who provided his care were kind, understanding and supportive. Dad’s care needs became increasingly demanding yet the carers could always be relied upon to go the extra mile. I have nothing but high praise for all the careers who assisted Dad as his health faded and the management team who provided sympathetic support and assistance.
My father and I are extremely happy with the dedicated care and attention he receives from Cera Home Care carers. They are very friendly and helpful and make great effort to get to know their clients well which means that they are very quick to notice any changes with health or well-being that may require attention. They keep in touch regularly to ask if we are happy with everything and are quick to let us know of any concerns. Thank you Cera Home Care and all your team; we have complete confidence in the excellent service you all provide.
Overall an excellent service provided by carers and the management. My father is treated with dignity and compassion for his needs. I would wholeheartedly recommend their services for anyone in need of care.
I have found Cera care to be a professional service user-orientated agency. The support workers are considerate of my needs and enable me to be as independent as is physically possible. I can rely on my support workers to relate and adapt to any emotional or physical changes I may experience and always treat me with respect. I would not hesitate to recommend Cera care to anyone needing supportive and personal care.
On the whole, carers provide a very good and reliable service with occasional lapses, e.g. recently, Sunday night carers have not put rubbish/recycling bags and the green garden waste bin at the kerbside so they have not been collected/emptied by refuse workers. Otherwise, it is very reassuring to be advised very promptly if they encounter any problems.
Cera carers have been very capable in their function as helpers to my partner in his journey through dementia and we have come to rely on them for their professionalism and experience. They always arrive with a positive attitude and leave us with a smile. The only negative thing that we have found is there is an acute lack of communication between us and the office. The impromptu early morning arrival of the carers some days means we are not yet ready for them and they are delayed sometimes for half an hour before they can begin the washing/showering procedure. They are given their times by the office administrator who, sadly, does not inform us of the change of arrival times leading to confusion and delay! We were also sent a letter informing us of the new app which allows customers to view carers daily reports and were promised a password so we could gain entry. We are yet to receive it.
