View Full Details of Angel Home Care Service Private LtdAngel Home Care began looking after my 101-year-old mother last autumn. My mother has been looked after by several other care companies in the past, but none compares to the wonderful care Mum has received from Angel. My mum's existing arrangements were in crisis when I approached Angel and the manager, who responded swiftly making arrangements for my mum's complex needs and everything was in place very quickly. Similarly when my mum's needs increased necessary adjustments were made without delay. All of the carers have been, professional and compassionate and treat Mum with dignity. I can now relax knowing that my mother is being so well cared for and is very happy with her carers. I strongly recommend Angel Home Care and I wish I had used them earlier.
Every single member of staff has been caring and attentive when visiting my mum who can be quite challenging at times. They have often gone above and beyond on several occasions, for example, contacting my mother's GP on my behalf with any concerns as they know it's difficult for me to talk at work. The manager has also gone straight out to my mum and to assist the carers when there have been issues with her health. Having access to the app is brilliant as I can see the care notes from each visit. I really can't praise Angel Home Care enough. They give me real peace of mind knowing my mum is in such good hands as I am over an hour away. Thank you to all the staff.
Generally got off on the wrong foot. With many different carers. Arranged times weren't adhered to. Then we got 2 regular carers, then onto our main carer, and times had significantly improved. However, as time goes by, I'm still happy with the level of service, that you provide.
Very good professional service, excellent care team. Very professional, excellent communication.flexible approach to care. Accommodates changes readily. The care manager is very approachable and always does her best to meet clients needs. I as a health care professional have always been impressed with the service offered.
Was struggling for care support for my elderly mum after her stroke and decided on Angel Home Care as they were responsive and helpful to my initial query and locally based. They have been a godsend for Mum who has been using them 4 times a day since February 24; they have been successful in looking after her so that she stays out of hospital. All the care staff are kind, respectful, pleasant, compassionate and hard-working - mainly Mum feels safe and cared for. Management are also very responsive to messages and they use an app so that I can check when Mum has been seen and if there are any issues. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this agency, excellent.
Always seem helpful when telephoned and carers helpful and some lovely kind carers. Usually contacted by manager if any carer running late which is thoughtful. Always ask if Mum needs anything else.
My overall experience is that the carers do care. They try their best but sometimes fall short. The biggest problem is the language - theirs and mine. I am attended daily four times by a mix of nationalities by approx 8 carers. Of these, I would say I can follow what they say 1) excellent 2) good 3) poor. Conversation is difficult but we try. They work to a timetable of a set time but allowed to be 15 minutes early, up to 15 minutes late. I sometimes have an outside appointment and the management take a responsible view about notice and do not change. I wear a catheter full-time. They are not always reliable. The carers are taught to deal with routine problems but not with any unusual problems. These are referred to management with varied results. No carers are available after 9pm so I contribute to a care call service usually referred to district nurses who are available through the night. I am not aware of other firms charges so have no opinion on value for money. I pay maximum fees. These were increased by 15% from 1/4/2024. I hope that is not repeated.
Carers are generally punctual and regular. The manager is helpful and responsive to our individual needs.
A huge thanks to all carers and staff at Angel for the continuous care they provide my mum. They’re all so lovely, friendly, kind, caring, empathetic and professional. The high level of care means my mum can live at home in familiar surroundings, which is very important for people with dementia. They are honestly so supportive not only to my mum but to my dad, myself and my brother. The carers use an app to document everything they do, which is updated on every visit and are always very punctual. The office staff are really flexible and try and accommodate changes to requested visit times as rotas are forwarded a few days in advance of the following week listing appointment times and names of carers. Carers do an amazing job on a daily basis, and we thank you all so much. 10/10 care rating from me.
Very happy with all my carers.
I cannot praise the care given to my mum by Angel Home Care Service. They are reliable, caring, kind and nothing is too much trouble. I feel reassured that my Mum's care is in excellent hands.
The team has been great, from initial assessment to daily visits. Any concerns or changes to care are addressed and actioned immediately. We are very grateful for the care being given - keep up the great work. Thank you.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. I found them to be helpful and polite. We didn't have any issues or concerns with the care team. The manager was amazing when we needed help with a small issue we had.
I have two carers each day, one to assist me first thing in the morning and the other at bedtime. Both have been with me for well in excess of a year. In both instances, they offer a fully professional service, high standards of hygiene with a friendly, polite disposition. They are thoroughly reliable, I feel I am in good hands.
Since your carers' first visit in May last year to assist my son at bedtime, a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders. My son has muscular dystrophy and is confined to his wheelchair or easy chair - to transfer means using a hoist which I, an 86-year-old woman, was struggling to do! Our daytime carers were unable to provide the bedtime care my son required. Our present carer is willing to help in any way needed.
Your carers are all brilliant, they have become more than carers and I like to think of them as my friends. I would have been lost without them. Thank you for a wonderful service.
We have a core of excellent regular carers who have established a good rapport with my husband, who has Alzheimer's and can be very difficult. The level of care is very good and the company management makes every effort to provide carers that are familiar and understand his needs and are understanding of his condition. I can highly recommend Angel Home Care.
I cannot speak highly enough about both the staff and manager of Angel Home Care. Nan was treated with care and compassion as well as with dignity. Nan's care and medication needs changed a number of times and nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Angel to others. Thank you to you all.
The manager and her team are superb, since contracting their services we have experienced the highest standards of personal care for my brother (the actual client). A massive benefit is minor changes in condition are observed by the operative and reported to us, this benefit is primarily due to having continuity of care with the same individual as the main personal carer and in his absence a regular replacement. I have found the manager extremely flexible and adaptable in her approach when we have reason to contact her or a member of her office team. We have been with Angel Homecare Service for a number of years now and they have never failed to attend the daily morning appointment we have booked even during the COVID pandemic. We've required the services of a PA for my brother for nearly 10 years and prior to Angel Home Care Service, we had a number of agencies that were not satisfactory. The manager runs an excellent company that I would not hesitate to recommend to others.
Overall all carers are compassionate and very caring for the welfare of my mother. Management are very good with communication and flexibility.
