My Home Instead experience has been over the last 28 months. There are small niggles, mainly over visits being too close together, but I accept that it is a flexible time taken that can vary day by day. The carers do what it says on the tin - they care! We are fortunate that we currently receive NHS funding but I do book respite calls most weeks. Price rises are for in excess is income and seems hand to justify.

My husband required care after I broke my wrist badly in October. I cannot fault the level of care provided by the two carers to start with and latterly by one carer. Nothing was too much trouble and my husband was treated with total respect. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Home Instead has been the best decision we have made for looking after our mum. The girls are absolutely fabulous and go above and beyond. Mum feels so safe and relaxed and looks forward to their visit. My sister works for a health center and has recommended Home Instead to her patients. Look forward to our future with Home Instead.

Our relationship with Home Instead began in early June 2024, we reached out to them to assist our family with the care of my father-in-law, Dad. From the very first interaction Home Instead demonstrated a level of understanding, professionalism and care for Dad that went above and beyond our expectations. Caring for an elderly family member is not easy, it's a journey with many ups and downs and one that can cause stress and tension for family members. So it was a huge relief to find such an excellent partner to support our family in caring for Dad, moreover, a partner who shared our values and has shown Dad the same care and respect that we do. Home Instead have been unbelievably responsive to our developing care support needs and service changes as we balance the care provided by the family with that from Home Instead. All the caregivers who have attended to Dad have been excellent. The interaction of such quality people with Dad have given him a boost and improved his well-being.

What an outstanding care home provider. Work with the family to ensure the support provided meets the client's needs. Very responsive to any changes and I knew my relative was safe in their care. Not one missed visit in six years and always attended to my loved one promptly. Caring people who are well trained and work to ensure caregivers are matched to the client. I and my loved one are grateful for all the care provided.

Very positive experience with Home Instead. Initial enquiries were dealt with promptly and in a very friendly way. This was followed up with an in-depth consultation at home to assess client needs, which was handled sensitively and with empathy. Carers were then engaged and they have been very good, clients (parents) are very happy.

Positives; professional quality care, friendly, punctual, reliable, flexible with timing, good feedback and helpful. Suggested improvement; as one hour visit of two people is not always needed, allow for 30 or 45 minute visits of one to two care professionals to improve value for money.

Absolutely outstanding. Initially Mum was reluctant to have carers looking after her but the Home Instead carers took the time to earn her trust and form a relationship in which she felt safe, valued as an individual and respected as a person. She soon started to look forward to visits and thought they were wonderful. The time spent caring for Mum's needs was always on time and never rushed. We had an app that updated us and the Home Instead wider team after each visit. When Mum's health took a turn for the worse they acted immediately to adjust her care package and to advise and support us access all the support available for Mum from the NHS. This was invaluable. It was truly a holistic care package that was provided by Home Instead, second to none and we have no hesitation in saying Mum had the very best care we could have wished for in the final weeks of her life. Thank you to everyone from us all.

All of the ladies are friendly and happy to do what Mum suggests. They ask her what she wants to do. Mum feels well looked after when they are out, she feels safe, they see her in and out of the house, check that she locks up each time. Mum is happy with the way things are.

The service provided has been proffessional and reliable. The app is great for reviewing visits, scheduled visits and carer comments. We feel comfortable with the care received for my father. We were promised a small team of carers so Dad would build up a rapport with them, this hasn't happened. There are many carers, most are great but some are less so. He prefers two of them in particular.

Outstanding. After my father passed, I told the manager and her team at Home Instead that the best decision my family made was to put a tick in the box for receiving care with Home Instead. The love, care and support they gave my father was incredible. I know Dad could not have wished for more and our family will be forever grateful for what they did to look after him in his home. The care professionals were exceptional in their own unique way and - on reflection - they gave as much love and support to me and my family as they did for Dad. There are not enough stars to give on this feedback so I will have to go with 5. Thank you.

Hard to find words of our gratitude to all the staff at Home Instead West Lancs and Chorley. The care pros provided care for my Dad who passed away with liver cancer in February 2024. My need needed round-the-clock care for 12 months and as was his wish, he wanted to die at home. Home Instead were there every step of the way, providing personal care, administering medication, house chores and shopping but also being emotionally supportive to my dad and our whole family. We got to know the care team very well and feel they went above and beyond to make Dad's last months as comfortable as they could be. Thank you very much everyone at the company from myself and our whole family.

Excellent and exceeded expectations. We had tried another care provider and this failed. We were informed that it was now likely the only option was a care home. We found Home Instead who had excellent ratings in all domains of their CQC assessment. They completely turned the situation around. My mother-in-law is now very happy, safe and very well cared for in her own home.

Excellent, well-trained and caring staff took the time to care for my dad when he returned from hospital for palliative care. The expense was worth it to know my Dad was surrounded by professional carers.

From my first communication with Home Instead regarding the support and care for my really elderly Mum, we have been treated professionally and with a great deal of respect and dignity. Arrangements and administration was carried out in no time at all and I felt as if a load had been lifted from my shoulders. My mum was relieved that she was not a burden on me and that she could absolutely depend and rely on her wonderful caring team. The carers were very friendly, chatty and really professional at their job. The personal thing that Mum really enjoyed was that the ladies remembered all her own specific requirements like: how she enjoyed her tea/coffee, breakfast, showering details etc. She did not have to explain everything over and over. Even her bed was made up exactly to her needs and liking. Carers were never rushed. Mum got the full-time she was paying for, if there was a delay or hitch in the schedule the office would let us know. 4 months now and progress is good. Thank you!

All the carers go above and beyond to provide friendly, helpful and dignified care. Mum often talk about helpful and dignified care. Mum often talks about them in glowing terms and in some cases sees them more as friends than carers.
