View Full Details of Manorcourt Homecare (Clacton-On-Sea)Consistent care and kindness from all concerned. All carers are excellent and office staff are always helpful and obliging. Manorcourt Homecare has provided a great service over the past several years, both before and during all the upset of COVID and into the present. We could not manage without them. Many thanks to all the staff at Clacton-On-Sea.
My saviour! My mum was released bed-bound from hospital. Overwhelmingly concerned I didn't know what to expect for the future. A care package was put in place, supplied by Manorcourt Homecare. 2 months have passed now and I absolutely love them. Genuinely caring, friendly, understanding real people. From the carers to the office. Trusting someone to take care of someone you love is a huge responsibility. I thank God he gave me Manorcourt Homecare. I honestly don’t know where I would be without them, I’m even still able to work. I have total peace of mind knowing they are helping me to look after my mum. My mum adores them all, which I think is important. What a positive difference they bring to our lives. I have no way to repay them for everything they do. All I can say is a massive Thank you.
I had been trying to contact the manager to discuss my father's care, after leaving a few messages and being promised a call back the same day. I felt the only way to get the attention was to leave a poor review, as I had previously stated the caregivers who come to my father's home are good and caring. I did eventually get an email and telephone call from the manager who couldn't be more apologetic for the delay due to unforeseen circumstances, we have now discussed the situation and I again feel that I am being listened to and that my father's care is sorted.
As a family we are very pleased with the care our dad receives twice a day from Manorcourt. The staff are all lovely, kind and very patient, not only with our dad, who is their patient but with our 91 year old mum too. Our dad is happy with whoever comes, but lately, the carer he's had every day is brilliant and very knowledgeable. Thanks to the latest carer and thanks to all the staff at Manorcourt.
I would recommend Manorcourt Homecare to anyone looking for a real caring service. I recently used them for my brother. They were efficient, kind, caring and very patient. The office was always easy to contact any day, any time. Thanks to a great team and a great team leader.
I have had care from Manorcourt since February 2021 for my Mum. It worked really well up until the new manager took over and from October 2021 it has been chaos. No rota, not sticking to times, lack of staff, no communication, and now in December cannot provide the times we need. Not impressed at the moment.
As a family, we are very new to using this kind of service and assistance but have been very satisfied with the care being received by my mother. It helps that, where possible, care is provided by a small number of different carers enabling the building of a better relationship and carers knowing where things are and how Mum responds. All the carers are polite, respectful and friendly and happy to chat with Mum and work with her to help her with washing and dressing rather than imposing "their way" on things. Without being overbearing, contact from the local manager gives a clear impression of caring and being interested, e.g. on occasion calling to say the carer coming had been delayed by earlier events.
Manorcourt Care have been caring for both of my parents and I can not fault them. They make sure that my parent's needs are met and they can’t do enough to help. If there is an issue I’m contacted straight away and we resolve any issues between us. The girls are kind and friendly and make my parents feel happy. I would recommend Manorcourt Care to anyone who needs care at home.
I have these care providers in place to care for my frail elderly mother who has difficulty with walking and day to day tasks. These lovely carers have been a Godsend since they have helped with the care for my mother. She looks forward to seeing them as they make her otherwise lonely day, a little more bearable. They are all very reliable, caring, professional and deal with whatever situation they find upon arrival. The communications book is vital to relay messages back and forth and I am always contacted with anything that may need to be actioned at once. I would not hesitate to recommend Manorcourt Homecare (Clacton-On-Sea) providers.
After an initial visit from the manager, we knew that this was the company that we wished to use to care for my elderly mother. My mother is eighty one. She has a carer go in every morning to assist her with washing, dressing, getting medication and breakfast. My mum is so happy with them all. The carers go beyond what we would have expected. Each one has been caring, professional, happy, helpful and carry out our requirements to a high standard. I do not live close to my mum and the comfort and relief that I have knowing that Manorcourt Homecare (Clacton-On-Sea) is looking after her is way above of all of my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
With the Covid pandemic hitting everyone hard I have never been more relieved that mum was being looked after by the Manorcourt girls. Their attention to detail keeping mum safe. The manager and her team at the office would listen to my worries and concerns equally I will listen to the advice given, a sure sign that we can work together making sure mums health and well being is looked after. A special mention must go to the staff member who attends to mum the most, she knows just how to handle mum encouraging her to get dressed /personal care and eating and drinking I think they are a good duo. Also, two other staff members are a great help especially if I or my brother call asking what shopping mum may need, nothing seems too much trouble. All the carers that go into mum are friendly, always happy and mum enjoys their company. Lastly, I would like to pass on my heartfelt thanks for all that you do.
The care and empathy shown to my mum was first class and also the concern on her rapid decline. Very honest about mum's decline and communication and reliability was brilliant. I had more or less daily updates and was always told of mum's needs immediately. Highly recommend.
I use this service not for care but for a cleaning service. The management team fully understand my mother and her needs and always do their very best to help. I find everyone in the team friendly and helpful.
Our requirement was for a pair of carers to provide personal care four times a day to my wife (who suffers from dementia) for ten days to give respite to my daughter and son-in-law who are her usual full-time carers. A searching assessment by the manager was followed by a more than adequate period for the prospective carers to shadow my daughter and son-in-law. One of the features of the care which particularly pleased us was the very limited number of carers who visited us. Approximately 75% of the visits were made by two of only four different carers, one of whom was always in attendance on every remaining visit. This was a tremendous plus for a dementia sufferer. Throughout the ten days, the carers were punctual on arrival, both patient with and sensitive to my wife's needs and totally considerate to my wife, myself and the rest of my family. They always appeared happy to be in our presence and, at our request, even joined us in song when my wife was transferring in her stand aid. Thank you Manorcourt, we could not be more grateful.
Always on time. Very pleasant and gets on with great confidence. Pleased to have the benefit of the service.
Very good indeed.
As a family, we have been extremely happy and reassured by the care given to our mum. The company take great care to offer consistency in terms of visiting staff, which has enabled mum to feel safe and secure and look forward to her carer arriving in the mornings. The administration is excellent and we always know what extra arrangements may be happening. Thank you.
My wife has been diagnosed with vascular dementia plus severe depression, which resulted apart from the normal memory problems, including her refusal to eat. Unable to properly deal with this situation I sought help via the internet and found Manorcourt Homecare (Clacton-on-Sea). This organisation has been an absolute Godsend and has transformed in about a year my wife's inability to think or talk about food, to one where she is regularly eating a cooked meal and now expresses feelings of being hungry. This significant improvement started by contacting Manorcourt and having discussions (at my home) with their excellent management team to set up a caring programme to meet our needs. Our agreed programme comprised of 7 days/week of cooking a lunchtime meal, with an extended period on Tuesday to give my wife a shower and any other personal issues required. During the carers time, many other help items are also carried out. The caring team comprises of one main carer who covers most of the shifts, with alternate weekend/gaps filled in by two other regular carers. Manorcourt should be extremely grateful for having such excellent carers as their employees. These carers do truly justify their job title. Nothing is too much trouble for them to carry out other minor tasks, such as rubbish removal, tidying, topping up salt in water softener and many others. Our main carer definitely considers her jobe to be a complete vocation, she thoroughly enjoys her role and she totally uses her own initiative in a most gratifying manner. She is totally obliging to carry out any tasks required within her capabilities and is always prepared to go the extra mile when required. She always operates in a strictly professional manner, and I have total trust in her to look after the laid down needs of my wife and I. Many thanks.
I find the carers and managers very pleasant and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Their times are always correct and if there happens to be a change, they always notify us.
Very caring and helpful. Manager very understanding and professional. They have looked after and support dad extremely well.
