View Full Details of Manorcourt Homecare (Hornchurch)I have been using this agency since June 2007 just as carer's for my brother, and now as a domestic service for myself. I have always found the service meets my needs. I have no complaints except to say I have to go through six monthly reviews. I find it irritating to have to do this as I would not hesitate to complain if I was not happy with the service, and my complaints were not dealt with. I am more than capable of searching for another care agency.
The carers give excellent care, and treat my mother with dignity, ensuring she is comfortable. They do lovely meals for Mum which she does enjoy and before they leave they ask Mum if there is anything else she needs. Very happy with the care and patience given. Thank you.
Our carer is diligent, empathetic and very good with my Mum, always saying hello to my dad. Cannot fault the service with all concerned.
My husband needed a live-in carer whilst I had a much-needed holiday with our daughter and son-in-law who live in Cyprus. The holiday was to be for two weeks and hoped the young woman, whom we had met and approved beforehand, would be ideal for the tasks ahead. My husband also requires other carers during the day and our chosen live-in carer fitted in well with our other small daily team. Our live-in carer also administered my husband's correct medications during my absence. My husband found her very caring, and undemanding and appreciated her respectful and pleasant outgoing personality. Our son also managed to call in on a few occasions to see how things were planning out. He was pleased to see that his Dad and carer were managing to cope well. Some shopping was required and general duties performed well. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service offered.
Appalling. Dad came home from the hospital and whoever was the carer nicely prepared his bed for his return by rolling back the duvet so he could get in bed easily. However, one major detail had been ignored. The sheet was filthy and heavily stained. This must have been very obvious to whoever prepared this. The bed itself had various stains down it, eg. vomit, blood and excrement. I have pictures. These stains also go down to the carpet. I appreciate they are carers and not cleaners but I feel accidents could have been mopped up as they happen instead of leaving a bed and carpet that was heavily soiled. On the plus side, another carer did replace the bedding and advised what was needed to make his bed better. She even cleaned him after he soiled himself coming home in an ambulance. She is the benchmark other carers in this company need to work towards. I will be forwarding the photos on to relevant agencies.
Everybody is contributing, doing what they can to make the world a better place. But everyone is faithful to do works committed in their hands with integrity. Thank you all for the good work you are doing and God's abundant blessings in Jesus' name amen, love you all.
We were somewhat apprehensive about employing a full-time respite carer, as my mother has never been very comfortable with people she does not know. Our carer overcame all our fears, she immediately made Mother feel at ease, and she was able to deal with whatever issue that came her way. She was a joy to work with and nothing was too much trouble for her. This meant we were able to sleep easy during our break knowing all was well at home. Mother felt very well cared for – perhaps even a little spoilt, and misses her carer's constant attention. We will definitely be using respite care again.
I am very happy with the service I receive from Manorcourt. My carer comes promptly. Nothing is too much trouble and she's always pleasant and pleased to attend to me. I don't know what I would do without her.
All the carers who visited my mum were extremely caring, compassionate, friendly and sensitive to her needs. As a dementia sufferer she required different strategies to encourage her with her morning routines. She had two main carers who were absolutely lovely and made the mornings run smoothly as they efficiently got my mother ready for the day. I can not thank them enough.
Professional and caring approach.
Good overall service.
Manorcourt always try their utmost to give your loved ones a regular carer, where a good relationship and trust is formed. Their staff have always been happy, cheerful and positive. Great bunch of hardworking carers. They are quick to update care plans if needed and do regular checks with clients and families. Great at timekeeping.
We have been very impressed with the service our mother received from Manorcourt Homecare over the past year. The management and staff acted professionally and efficiently at all times were punctual with their visits and completed their tasks competently, whilst treating her with dignity and respect. This included comforting and helping her when she suffered from a major stroke from which she sadly passed away in April this year. We would have no hesitation in recommending Manorcourt Homecare as a professional and competent care agency.
We are very happy with the team. They are very helpful to my sister and they try hard to assist in all her daily needs.
I have no complaints regarding my care. All of the carers are polite and considerate and carry out their duties well.
Very good and helpful.
We are saddened that one or two of the most considerate carers have left the company recently, to the detriment of the overall standard of care.
Friendly professional and always willing to help clean. Always wearing required protection.
My sister has had carers from Manor Court for over 10 years, she suffered from schizophrenia for 54 years and as her physical state got poorer she ended up having four visits a day from carers, she passed away two days before Christmas. The care shown by all the carers was excellent, caring and thoughful, they treated my sister with dignity at all times. The office staff were excellent when I rang them, especially with dealing with her controlled drugs. I can't thank them enough!
Very pleasant, polite ladies.
