View Full Details of Home Instead (Kensington & Chelsea)Home Instead (Kensington & Chelsea) are a real gem in the world of care. So brilliant, so insightful and skillfully compassionate. A year in, I can honestly say they've been a major part of my mum making relative improvements and feeling so supported through the wilds of her diagnosis (Lewy Body dementia and Parkinson's). The staff and whole crew have been so kind and creative, a real joy to be around and communicate with. My mum can really feel that and it's a beautiful thing to see their bonds and dynamics with her. I can't say enough positive things about how organised the agency is, how well-vetted and selected the care professionals are and what a massive source of healing, help and laughter Home Instead (Kensington & Chelsea) has been.
I employed Home Instead to help my mother for a few hours in the evening o give her support and help her to bed. Within a few days she had deteriorated so badly I needed 24 hour care which Home Instead indeed sorted at once. It was incredible service. The carers were delightful and my mother felt safe. When my mother was taken in hospital and sadly never returned, they continued to be supportive.
I'm happy with my carer. The office is always accommodating and helpful.
First-rate service delivered regularly and on time. The same person has been attending for the last six months. She takes care of all my needs and will do whatever I ask her to including laundry, cleaning and accompanying me to medical appointments. She does all of this obligingly and willingly. She is also very good company and this has been a blessing during the pandemic and lockdown.
My carer is an excellent carer.
My daughters arranged for me to use Home Instead shortly before the lockdown. I am so glad they did. Whenever I ring the office the phone is answered at once by a friendly voice - or I'm given the opportunity to leave a message. Carers/escorts have been sent whenever needed. They have always been adaptable over changes of days/times. My welfare and peace of mind has always been their main consideration. In fact, I can truly say I don't know what I would do without Home Instead. I do so want to stay in my home.
Satisfactory, except in the turnover in carers. This is mostly due to circumstances not in the control of the agency. Most of the service provided has been of good or excellent quality.
Our family has used Home Instead for many years now. At all times they have been responsive, professional and caring. More recently my father has required 24-hour support in order to remain at home. The reliable group of carers have come to know him well and vice versa. I can go away without worrying about him. Any issues have been discussed frankly and resolved promptly and none has been major. A colleague to whom I recommended Home Instead has also been pleased and I continue to recommend them.
I got in touch with Home Instead Kensington & Chelsea over five years ago to find a carer for my mother-in-law. They responded swiftly and after interviewing the carer they suggested, we have never looked back. The care service they provide is dilligent and respectful. Over the years our carer has become part of the family and has helped us through all the ups and downs. The care staff are well trained and are warm and caring. The office staff is always eager to help, to accomodate and responding to our needs. Our carer visits us three times a week, and we are totally happy to leave my mother-in-law in their care when we go on holidays. Having contacted Home Instead has dramatically improved my mother-in-law's well-being, and has also helped us to spend more quality time with her and to make our life a little bit easier. I can only recommend Home Instead Kensington & Chelsea most highly to everyone in the Borough.
Constant satisfactory help.
I have found Home Instead Senior Care (Kensington & Chelsea) and its carers very efficient, caring and very willing to help and care for my mother in her 101 year.
I have been receiving care for 2 hours twice a week since January 2017. At first, I was not at all well and needed help with shopping and simple daily tasks. I have been fortunately linked with a carer with whom I have interests in common. She still helps with some shopping, bed making etc. She also helps with my computer and mobile phones. I am not on email and prefer to speak to contacts on the telephone. I have recommended Home Instead to a friend in Wiltshire.
