The ladies that visit & care for mum are lovely and get on really well with her, they care about her & try & make sure she is well & happy. Any problems they let the office/ family know straight away, they are a peace of mind having them visit mum.

All the carers who support my mother (93 with vascular dementia) and my mentally handicapped brother are really good. They are patient, caring, supportive and a great help to them both.

Home Instead have been truly excellent in providing help/care for my 95 year old mother. The helpers have been very well chosen to suit my mother's needs and we all love them and appreciate how thoughtful and capable they are. Thank you!

The team caring for my father were wonderful and formed great relationships with him over their time with him. As dates and needs changed, the management team responded quickly and efficiently, to make sure there was always care.

Home Instead provided daily care for my mum for nearly three years. The care professionals were kind and conscientious. My mum built bonds with many of them and grew fond of a few specific individuals who gave her a sense of friendship and fun as well as caring. The office staff were always responsive to requests and any issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I was always kept informed of my mum's welfare. Home Instead are not cheap but I do feel that the service they provide is worth the money. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone looking for care in their home.

Our experience of using Home Instead was brief but we found the staff both in the office and those who came to the house supportive and understanding of our situation which came about in August and as we approached a bank holiday weekend.

I have nothing but praise for our wonderful team of carers who visit us four times daily every week. They always bring so much love, joy and happiness as well as exceptional care, concern and professionalism. They are so kind, helpful and encouraging in every way and are a great comfort and reassurance for me.

I have been so impressed with the support, care and management by Home Instead since the first day we met with Dad to discuss his needs. Client's individual needs are their priority and this shone through from the manager to all carers in the team, in their attentiveness and care with my dad, to their detailed and thoughtful correspondence, ensuring my sister and I were always fully informed. The team were always very flexible and adapted care routines to fit with Dad's/our wishes (it's definitely not easy to initiate care when your dad wants to maintain full independence!). The field care supervisor's guidance was deeply appreciated as we navigated through changing care requirements, and we are grateful to have had Home Instead's support on this journey. Thank you!

Home Instead has given outstanding daily care to our dad over the last few months which has enabled him to stay at home as long as possible. The service is professional, warm and personalised. We have been able to increase care levels as required and the team worked so hard to make sure that Dad's needs were met. At critical times they went above and beyond, maintained excellent communication with us, and always put Dad's well-being and dignity at the heart of their planning and care. Having no previous experience of engaging care services, we were so pleased to find that Home Instead worked closely with us, and gave us regular and detailed feedback throughout the time they supported Dad so that we knew he was safe and well looked after by the team. I cannot recommend their care services highly enough.

Very pleased with the support of the carers who look after my husband and help with ironing and other tasks which require attention while I attend my once-weekly swimming session. Since the end of last year, I have once a fortnight had help with my cleaning and cannot fault the outcome.

I cannot praise Home Instead enough really. They have been attentive to our requirements at every stage and constantly check that their service supplies what we need. Our main carer has been excellent not only keeping my wife company when I am out but also engaging her in activity during the day. She genuinely looks forward to the carer's visit which makes the whole experience a lot easier for us all. I was very reluctant to take that leap of using a carer but am now very grateful that I did.

The team which looks after my neighbour is absolutely superb. They all really care about her. Each member is conscientious, efficient, reliable, cheerful and help her to remain happy. They have also lifted a huge weight from my shoulders. It is a huge relief knowing that there is such a dedicated team, and the suggestions made by each member speak of real care and expertise. My neighbour really looks forward to their visits each day. They have added such a positive dimension to her life. I am very impressed by the attention to detail shown by the office. Any concerns are raised quickly and everything is so well coordinated. I cannot speak too highly of Home Instead (Bath).

I have been really impressed with Home Instead Bath for both their care and also the efficiency and speed of their contact with us. Home Instead has provided excellent and consistent care for both of my parents, who are in their nineties, over the last few months, enabling them to stay longer in their own home. All the carers have been reliable, kind and extremely helpful. They have provided my parents with personal care and housekeeping and have always been both supportive and professional. In particular, the website where we can read notes on the visits as soon as they have been completed has enabled us to know exactly how the visit has gone and to keep up with the situation. Also, their highlighting of any problems was immediately reported to us so that we were able to deal with any ongoing problems and the ability to contact the carers directly through my parent's individual care folders. Thank you, Home Instead.

My aunt had been living independently, at a considerable distance from the rest of the family. Initially concerned that she was not taking her medications correctly, we wanted someone to call in to check that she had taken them and provide companionship and lunch. We chose Home instead on a recommendation from a friend. Home Instead caregivers visited her over a period of more than five years until she recently (Nov 2023) decided to move into residential care. Over the five years, as her needs changed, the visits were gradually increased from once each weekday up to twice every day. The real plus points for Home Instead were: A reliable service, caregivers properly introduced and working to a schedule, ability of caregivers to take her out (shopping, sightseeing), giving us feedback on any concerns, an accessible record after each visit and regular meetings at my aunt's for a review. This review was invaluable for seeing how my aunt felt, what she liked, what could be improved and so on.

We felt we had a good relationship with Home Instead, who listened to the needs and requirements. We found everyone a pleasure to work with and that our mum who has dementia was well cared for, which gave us as a family reassurance and confidence.

I have been involved with Home Instead (Bath and West Wilshire) along with my late wife for almost 11 years. During this time I have developed a whole circle of new friends. The carers are well-trained and very helpful. The office staff are also very helpful and go the extra mile to be helpful with both help and advice.

My very elderly father has been receiving care from Home Instead in Bath for the last two years. He has visits twice a week for help with cleaning and cooking but no personal care is needed. The ladies are extremely kind and caring, helpful and punctual. They take a great interest in dad and treat him very respectfully. We are delighted with Home Instead.

I have used Home Instead for several years to provide respite and personal care for my wife who has Alzheimer's. They are also able to provide 'ad hoc' respite care when needed to enable me to see family or keep an appointment. I am very pleased with the service they provide.

I have been so impressed with the support, care and management by Home Instead since the first day we met with Dad to discuss his needs.
