View Full Details of A Class Care LtdA Class Care acted swiftly at short notice to provide emergency waking night care to our elderly aunt. The immediate family lived some distance away so it was vitally important that we could have confidence and trust in the care they were providing. The management team were very helpful, informative and accessible to us at all times and were understanding and compassionate in their approach and responses to our needs. The two night carers handed over to the day carers and the feedback was that they went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly and were helpful, kind and extremely caring. I would thoroughly recommend A Class Care Cambridge who supported us at every stage in a difficult situation.
The carers looked after my relation very well. He was always clean, well-fed and never ignored. There was never any smell. They had a very professional attitude. They never discussed his medical problems with anyone else but always alerted me if there was a change in his health. I found them to be honest and helpful. My relation liked them and I thought they treated him with kindness.
A Class Care have provided a very good service in all aspects of our live-in carer. The carer was brought to our house and there was a handover with the previous carer to ensure continuity. Our carer has been first rate, knowledgable, caring and interacting really well with my mother, who has later stage Alzheimers. The manager is very approachable and goes out of her way to make sure everything is working well, no matter what time. I am very pleased with A Class Care and could not have managed without them.
We were directed to this care agency through CHC following an assessment for a live-in care package for my mum. It started late on Friday and the agency couldn't have been more helpful supportive and reassuring to us as a family. The agency called me on Sunday morning to go through the assessment (even though it was her weekend off) to ensure all details of my mum's care needs were sorted as soon as possible. The office staff and the carer in place are both extremely efficient and made the process very smooth. The live-in care lady has come as such a relief to us as a family and she couldn't be nicer. She straight away started to care for my mum and can't do enough for my mum. She is so kind and patient with mum and reassuring her that she is safe and cared for. I think we are very lucky to have her in our family. We had a bad experience with a previous live-in lady - who we only used for 4 days - she never interacted with mum, my mum had a lot of anxiety following this but has bonded straight away.
Very happy with Mum's carer. They get along well and the carer is very aware of changing problems with Mum's mental and physical health.
The carer we had for my husband was always kind and compassionate to him. She would help to make my husband as comfortable as possible. I can't imagine how we would have managed without her. She is a wonderful carer and has a kind soul.
We have been extremely lucky to have some wonderful carers. Our main carer is amazing and an asset to your company. Nothing is too much trouble, she is a lovely caring person.
My Mother has been receiving live-in care for the last year. Mother, the carers, and the family have been through some tough and emotional times. It's very hard for some elderly people to come to terms with the fact that they are no longer in control of their own life, through old age and illnesses. To go from being in control to bedridden and totally dependent on others is a huge mental step to take and comprehend. The company have been very supportive with meetings to discuss the way forward and the carers have coped very well in very demanding circumstances. They have always treated Mum with respect and dignity. Caring is only part of the job, there is the medication, washing, cleaning, serving meals, and many other tasks that they perform on a day-to-day basis. About the only thing they don’t seem to do is cut the grass and weeding. Apart from that, they do a wonderful job.
The respite cover provided to my mother was exceptional. The review/assessment provided by A Class Care was thorough and very professional without being intrusive. The matching of my mother's needs for dementia and her love for cooking and sewing was first class. The carer really worked with my mother and supported her to re-look at spinning her cotton rolls and used old dress designs to help build a bond with Mum, which really settled her. Thank you A Class Care.
During lockdown we soon realised that having carer visits 4 times a day for my mother and father-in-law wasn't enough. Our social worker recommended live-in care and we approached 'A Class Care'. A lovely young gentleman came out to visit and assess our situation. He was extremely polite, professional and really got to know my in-laws to find out lots about them and what they would like in terms of their care. He reassured them that their home would still be their home and that he would find carers who would fit in well with their personalities and needs. He certainly did that. The carers we've had have been so experienced, lovely and caring and have quickly become part of our whole family. My father-in-law was diagnosed with dementia and the onset was very rapid. The carers promptly dealt with his ever changing care needs and liaised with managers and our family to fully support us all. We can't thank them enough and highly recommend them for your loved ones' care.
A class exceeded my expectations of how and what a care agency can do for you. They dealt with matters professionally and sympathetically. Anyone looking for 24hr care should consider them as they take away a lot of the admin and pressure involved in the care process. Leaving you with reassurance and comfort in knowing someone professional is accountable and managing with what matters most. Thank you to the team for your service.
A-Class as an organisation understand that no two people are the same and their approach has always been based around accommodating needs as their first priority. Our live-in carer has worked tirelessly in supporting my mother since December 2019 and we would have been unable to cope without her invaluable support. Her approach has proved very adaptable to circumstances around a complex set of changing needs, ongoing integration with other care agencies, and the coronavirus pandemic. Our initial concerns regarding the impact live-in care would have were seamlessly resolved without fuss and things settled quickly into place. We have had none of the difficulties experienced with certain other agencies involved prior to A-Class and would not hesitate to recommend their service.
My nan is so happy with the care she recieves from the wonderful carers at A Class Care. They really do as their name suggests and offer their clients the highest of care that clients should receive. Myself, my nan and my family highly recommend A Class Care and can’t recommend them enough for their dedication and care!
A Class Care are so compassionate and exceed expectations. They really do give a wonderful and caring service. I hope that should I personally need help in the future they will be there to support my needs so my family know I am in safe hands and treated with dignity and respect.
I am extremely pleased with the quality of care my mother has been receiving from A Class Care.
I have now used A Class Care Ltd for respite periods for 24/7 live-in care for 4 periods. I have always found the carers considerate to my father who has Alzheimer's and can prove difficult at times. Most providers require a minimum period of 1-2 weeks for live-in respite but A Class Care Ltd were happy to do even a 2-night stay. I can't explain how this has changed my life as a 24/7 carer for my father. Many thanks to them for the support they are able to provide for me and my father.
A Class Care Ltd has arranged live in care for my mother extremely well. They have been flawless with excellent carers provided. My mother is looked after very well indeed. The agency phone regularly to check that all is well.
We have been happy with the providers. The carers have arrived on time as expected and have been cooperative, helpful, friendly and polite.
I am very pleased with the care my son has.
I am receiving 24/7 live in care. My carers have been very good and treated me with dignity and respect. I have been getting freshly prepared food which has made a big difference to my overall health. I pay for a car driver which helps me get about. I would not be able to travel without my carer as I have multiple sclerosis and cannot drive. My only problems occur on changeover carer day as the company do not keep me informed as to when the new carer will turn up.
