View Full Details of Adex Care LtdI've had Adex for a few months and problems I've had have been one after other. Also to have my call being monitored without my knowledge. To be honest I'm thinking of going to a new care agency and times there supposed stay an hour and it's rush rush with them.
Big thank you to L15 carers for their help yesterday in preparation for a delivery to be made. Always nice to see and have never missed a visit. Always keep an eye on things and advise if appropriate.
Carers are very understanding of my wife's situation. The a.m. visits, in particular, are a motivation for my wife to start the day in a suitable manner. Thank you.
Of a morning I am supposed to have one carer for an hour and one for half an hour but they only stay half an hour. I am losing an hour and I pay for it. But it is not their fault because the office booked my call for 7-8am but they booked another person's call for 8am. They think they are miracle workers. Then, at dinner time, sometimes they are good and sometimes bad. Sometimes they only stay 20 minutes so I am losing 50 minutes. But it's not their fault because at tea time my call is supposed to be 5.30-6.30 but they have got a call at 5.30. But sometimes they only come at 6pm and stay 20 minutes. But if I tell the office they come back to me.
I contacted Adex to arrange care for my 94 yr old cousin while her regular carer was away. The worker who came was very kind, caring and very experienced. She immediately spotted there was something wrong with my relative which resulted in doctor's and nurse's visits. She took exceptional care of my cousin and was present with me three days later when the ambulance arrived, and able to give all the necessary details to the ambulance crew. I highly recommend this agency, we could not have received better service. We have used other agencies in the past but the care given by the Adex worker was second to none.
Once my Mum was allocated a care company after breaking her hip, I researched Adex Care Ltd and found one good review and one not so good, CQC report was off-putting, but I thought a lot that related to admin, but then thought it is about how they care for my Mum, not all about paperwork/tick boxes. Comments did say Adex Care Ltd were 'caring' and I thought this was so important. Adex Care Ltd Carers have been looking after my Mum age 94 yrs for 5 weeks and in that time I have found the carers are very good at what they do. Both carers and the office are available to discuss her needs, offer support, suggestions and available at the end of the phone. Mum has the same carers shared between 4/5 persons and I have met them all. Caring for someone is about the person's needs, learning about their personality, social contact, all to be done with care and dignity on a daily basis. Adex Care Ltd are doing this and I have no hesitation in recommending them and thanking them for their help and support in caring for my Mum.

She has in the past used numerous different companies for her care needs but none were ever efficient enough which meant carers were always different and not on time and didn't meet her care needs with the standard you would expect, however, since becoming a client of Adex Care Ltd, I have seen the difference in my friends all round well being. The carers are always on time and if they ever are going to be a little late, they have the decency to call and let her know. She has the same set of carers coming so she always knows who to expect and the carers that do come follow her care plans properly. Whenever I see my friend now she is always happy and content and I feel that this is down to the service that's being provided by Adex Care Ltd. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for care and they are also cheaper than what my friend has paid before.
