View Full Details of Home Instead (Epping Forest)I cannot praise Home Instead highly enough. We have had a rapidly evolving situation with my mother-in-law necessitating multiple changes in the amount and type of support needed over the last few months. Home Instead has always been very accommodating and extremely helpful. Continuity of care is excellent with the same set of carers being allocated wherever possible, meaning excellent relationships have been built up. Staff go above and beyond. Communications by phone and email are always answered promptly. Staff show genuine concern for my mother-in-law. Managers did a lot of work pushing and successfully getting an occupational therapist assessment, resulting in her going into hospital rehab post-TIA (transient ischaemic attack) and pending hip revision op. If it wasn't for Home Instead, I don't know where she and us would be!
I am extremely impressed with the care and attention which my aunt receives. All the ladies are pleasant, friendly and a dedicated team who provide appropriate and thorough assistance. Nothing is too much for them and any problems or concerns are discussed and solved. I am so pleased with Home Instead and glad that my aunt has them.
I'm really happy with Home Instead they look after my mum well.
Very proffessional in every way. Kind and caring staff. Always ready to help. My husband looks forward to the group singing sessions and the numerous cafes. The carers are as kind as can be.
Outstanding last-minute emergency care. Very accommodations and flexible. Carers are professional, kind and caring.
Home Instead cared for my mother for four years, allowing her to remain in her own home even though she was physically frail (and over 100 years old). They treated her with compassion, dignity and respect. She looked forward to visits and loved to have a chat and a giggle with the carers. And because Mum was so well cared for, her family were also comforted and reassured. We are so grateful to all the carers and the team in the office. A massive thank you.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care provided to my father during the last months of his life. Your team's kindness, patience, and respect towards him were a great comfort not only to him but to the family. The care and genuine compassion shown by Home Instead's staff will always be remembered very fondly and we count ourselves so lucky to have met each of you. My mother has shared with me how much the friendships she developed with two members of staff in particular mean to her. Their presence has been a reassuring comfort and I cannot thank them enough for being there for her as well. Home Instead fought for Dad every day when he was in hospital against a system which is under way too much pressure and bureaucracy. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. The entire team has been nothing short of wonderful, and it is clear to me that it takes extraordinary people to do what you do every day.
Review period September 2020 to November 2023. We identified Home Instead ("HI") from a search for care providers in Epping and relied on reviews and a recommendation from the local doctor. Dad had become increasingly physically frail and both were living with Alzheimer's. HI advised about an initial care package, which we increased as needed, involving help with taking medication, preparing food, shopping, house cleaning and helping Dad with personal care. The carers were all really kind and professional. There were changes of some of the individuals, others were involved throughout. A standout example was taking Mum and Dad to their niece's wedding in London. Recently Dad required hospital treatment. A carer stayed with Mum overnight for a week. Mum and Dad have now moved to a care home as my father's condition requires 24/7 nursing care. Mum and Dad wanted to stay in their own home for as long as possible and the care from HI made that possible. Highly recommended.
My mother has benefited from the excellent care provided by Home Instead (Epping Forest). The office have worked tirelessly to navigate communication to Mum's surgery and pharmacy. When Mum needed additional tailored visits, these were officially added to her program.
Very satisfied with the service and the staff. the whole experience is what you would hope all care would be like.
Home Instead are just amazing! The professionalism of the company is outstanding but it’s more than that. Speaking from our own experience with my mother-in-law, it was just the way they truly cared and took interest in talking to her and getting to know her. She’s sadly passed away but she enjoyed the visits so much knowing she could have a chat and even a sing song. The girls made a difference and enabled her to be at home which is where she wanted to be.
Carers are kind and professional. Taking their time. Friendly and having talks with Mum during breakfast meals. Very pleased with the service
We have been using Home Instead (Epping Forest) for a number of years now for companionship. The companions are lovely, very pleasant and enthusiastic and the office/management team are very responsive to our needs. Everyone is very reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.
I joined them seven years ago and I have been pleased with the service and good carers. They do what I ask. They come on time. I would never leave them.
Had lots of contact with their carers and office staff for my father-in-law who has progressive Alzheimer's. I have found they are considerate and caring and always look to resolve a problem, although not their fault, to make things right for the client! They are all conscientious and approachable. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Very helpful and can trust them to deal with a difficult person.
No words will ever be enough to show my appreciation and gratitude to these remarkable ladies from Home Instead (Epping Forest). No stone was left unturned to ensure that my mother had her dying wish which was to remain in her own home to the very end. She needed a hospital bed - tick, she needed an air mattress - tick, she needed more daily visits - tick - she needed district nurse visits - tick, she needed two carers at a time - tick. Unbelievable - honestly, no sooner said than done! The girls even went on a course to learn how to deal with my mother's stoma. I know I can't mention any names and I'm pleased about that because each and every one of these ladies cared devotedly for my Mum and she loved every one of you. I could go on and on but you know how I feel and just hope Home Instead are around when my time comes.
The management staff are kind, understanding extremely helpful, accommodating and efficient. The carers are punctual, friendly and willing to do anything to help. We have been very grateful for all the help over the last few years.
Very good.
My parents were independent individuals (both 90+) who felt they didn't need outside assistance. Home Instead were introduced gradually, just two, two-hour sessions per week at first. As father's health declined we needed multiple daily visits, the change was handled seamlessly keeping carers they knew and adding new ones. The office said if we or they were unhappy with any carer they would be replaced, an option we never thought of using. After father's death, we were able to keep mother at home until her death. Home Instead's knowledge of who to contact as health issues arose (whether medical attention or new equipment needs) was invaluable, their patience towards her and us was a testimony to their dedication. One of her regular team stayed with her all her last night and we were assured there would be no trouble doing the same the following night, had she made it until then.
