View Full Details of Home Instead (Redditch and Bromsgrove)My father has been receiving care since May. The initial set up meetings were informative and reassuring, everything was explained and my parents were listened to. I think Care is the key word here, Dad is most definitely cared for by everyone who visits. The quality of the care he receives from his regular care professionals is excellent. He has a good rapport with them, they listen to him, have a laugh! and are always proactive if anything new needs addressing. They are kind, respectful and punctual. We were worried that there may have been a stream of different people coming in, but were reassured that he would have regular, punctual carers, and this has been the case. On the odd occasion they have been unavoidably detained, they always ring and give their expected arrival time. A couple issues that arose in the early days were promptly and reassuringly sorted. Overall, I would highly recommend (Redditch and Bromsgrove) Home Instead.
My sister and I, stumbling our way through deciding how best to care for our mum as her dementia worsened, would have been totally lost without the team at Home Instead. Mum was resistant initially but the carers took it all in their stride, gradually gaining her trust and becoming an essential part of our lives. It is obvious that Home Instead (Redditch and Bromsgrove) choose their carers very carefully and we had total confidence in them. Communications with the office were always thorough and honest. Whenever I popped in to see Mum and one of the carers was there, I’d feel such a sense of gratitude and relief that such lovely people were taking care of her. Mum sadly died earlier this year and we were touched that many of her carers attended the funeral, a testament to the close bonds they had forged.
All staff are friendly, both care professionals and office staff. Management are always helpful, even for schedule changes. Care practioners are helpful, looking for jobs to do when set tasks are completed. My mother finds them all extremely professional, capable and helpful, even though he can't remember whether they've been or not!
I am extremely happy with the care my mother has been receiving from Home Instead (Redditch and Bromsgrove). My mother has cognitive impairment and needs a lot of mental stimulation and a lot of TLC. The carers from Home Instead really help her and are so friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you!
We're very pleased with the service we all receive from Home Instead (Redditch and Bromsgrove). Mum likes and gets on well with the wonderful caring carers who visit regularly and we received excellent support and communication from the staff based at the office. Thanks to all of the Home Instead (Redditch and Bromsgrove) team for your ongoing care of Mum.
My father thoroughly enjoyed his time with his companion, who is excellent. Staff are good at keeping us informed.
Very happy with the care my mother-in-law is receiving.
Home Instead have looked after my wife and I for a long time and have been excellent in every way. They tale a lot of trouble to make sure we are looked after. They are observant and spot anything which indicated we have a problem. Some of the staff go beyond their contract to give us extra service and help. Very expensive but you get what you pay for.
My mother has had Home Instead to care for her for five or six years. Initially twice per day but as she has become more frail three times per day. Should she have an episode where we have needed more visits or family were unable to take to an appointment, Home Instead have been able to support this also. Sometimes caring for Mum can be a little challenging but with close communication between Care Supervisor, caregivers and family we can work with Mum to maintain her dignity and ensure she is properly cared for. I am grateful to have caregivers who know Mum very well and act as an early warning if she starts to become unwell. They treat my Mum with respect and patience and adapt their care to her needs. The staff who are office based are always polite and ensure that communication across the board is good. From the caregivers to case supervisors to administration it is obvious that the aim is to provide a good service tailored to my Mum's care needs.
We are completely satisfied with the service and personnel and would recommend to all.
Home Instead has provided care for my mum since the summer and we, as a family, cannot fault them; from the initial assessment we felt confident in their service, the staff are wonderful and caring and have helped my dad to look after Mum to keep them in their own home as long as possible. Initially, Dad had reservations about having strangers in his home, however, he is overwhelmed by how brilliant they are and is very happy with the service. Communication is excellent too and I would highly recommend them.
Home Instead provides excellent care, and have superb management and training strategy. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who has a relative that needs support and care.
I would really like to thank the team that supports Mom. They go above and beyond to ensure Mom is happy and comfortable. They also support our family, for example, by helping when we need to set things up to ensure Mom can look after her cat.
We have used Home Instead as caregivers for my father since October 2020. Would highly recommend this home care provider. Any issues are dealt with promptly and courteously, and follow-ups are always carried out should there be a problem with my father during a visit. The caregivers also assist my mother with light housework when time allows. We have recently added a lunchtime call three days a week, which is working out well.
Home Instead has been visiting my parents for about six weeks and to say that I am impressed, would be an understatement. From the first visit when a staff member came to do an initial assessment, which was so detailed and done with such professionalism, I felt that Mum and Dad would be in good hands. I wasn’t wrong, every caregiver has been respectful and the level of care is excellent. I was concerned that my parents would struggle to have someone in their home, but the carers know how to manage this and all went smoothly and in the short time they have been visiting them they have become friends and they look forward to the visits. They handle my mum’s dementia with tact and adapt accordingly which impressed me greatly. After 2 weeks a review appointment took place again with the staff member who completed the initial assessment which was very helpful to tweak small things and I added my dad to the care plan so that the carers can provide him with support. It gives me peace of mind that they are being seen daily.
I have received a very professional, friendly and efficient service from my care team and would not want to change any of them.
We were fortunate enough to have had Home Instead recommended by an acquaintance and have the pleasure to pass on the same to others! In our experience Home Instead provide an excellent, unrivalled service, surpassing other independent care providers, employing professional devoted carers who take pride and pleasure in their jobs. Mother is in the best hands. We cannot fault them! Thank you Home Instead - you're the best.
The caregivers at Home Instead (Redditch and Bromsgrove) supported my father with care that initially he did not think he needed. The caregivers were all well trained and were so friendly to my father. They made him feel comfortable and he actually ended up really enjoying the visits. I would recommend the company to anyone considering care for a family member.
Home Instead provided a comprehensive and professional service over about 12 months or so for my 90 year old mother. i could not recommend them more highly as they adapted the service sometimes at really short notice
Home Instead has supported our mother since returning home from a period of ill health at the beginning of this year. They provide a highly professional service and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. The caregivers are friendly, supportive and caring and my mom has developed a real bond with them - this is helped by the fact we have consistent named carers. The team are conscientious, thoughtful and just take that extra bit of time to make sure Mom has everything she needs, or reassurance if she's worried about anything. We are also supported by the team at the office, they are always friendly and approachable, keep us updated and again nothing seems too much trouble. We were recommended to use Home Instead when we were looking for a care provider and we are so thankful that is who we chose, both for Mom and also for us in what is a stressful and worrying time.
