View Full Details of Rainbow Social Care LtdMy Mother has support 7 days a week, she has the same carer attend every Monday, who has been amazing with my mother and her problems, showing great compassion and gaining her trust and friendship. For her I am truly grateful, all other staff seem friendly and do a good job.
The staff and very friendly and caring. My daughter has her favourites but sadly some have left. Unfortunately I think there's a nationwide shortage of carers. Timings of the calls could be more evenly spaced.
I previously submitted a review regarding Rainbow Social Care Ltd for my mother-in-law. Since then, my own Mum had need of home care and I did not hesitate in requesting Rainbow - I wouldn't have wanted/trusted any other agency. Rainbow were absolutely brilliant with Mum - gaining her trust and overcoming her original reluctance to accept help. They helped her (and me) tremendously and went above and beyond what could be expected. They cared for both 'Mums' with utmost care, compassion and professionalism. It has taken be a while to submit the review, as, very sadly - despite everyone's best efforts - Mum's health declined and we lost her earlier in the year. I will be eternally grateful to the Rainbow 'family' for enabling me to keep Mum at home and avoiding her dread of residential care. They laughed with her and cried with me. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you all, with all my heart.
My mum has needed care for the last two years, due to getting Covid pneumonia and needing care four times a day. I can honestly say we’ve had a number of care companies and Rainbow are one of the best. They are by far very caring, loving and very professional and will go out of their way to make mum happy and are always here to support my dad. It gives me peace of mind to know I can go home knowing mum has been treated with utmost dignity and respect. Thanks very much to you all on behalf of mum dad and family. You do a great job. Special thanks to the care team.
I live over 700 miles from my father and very much appreciate the care given to him by Rainbow carers. They have been more than helpful and prepared to go the extra mile with regards to his care, such as ensuring he has everything he needs, for example by getting some items of shopping that he may have run out of between his weekly shop being done. In addition, they have kindly connected myself with my father via video link on one of the carer's phones so we could see each other, very much appreciated. They are always very quick to get back to me if I have a query and I always feel the care he is receiving is given by a carer who actually cares about him which is so important. I am more than happy to recommend Rainbow Carers and to thank them for the care they give.
The staff are simply incredible. Nothing is too much from the manager, office manager and carers. My wife became incredibly close to all members of staff. Caring, sympathetic, understanding and dependable. The list of superlatives could go on. As my wife is now in a full-time care home, regretfully, our close association has now ceased. It only remains for me to say a huge thank you to Rainbow.
I am very happy with Rainbow Care; the careers who come and look after my husband with dementia, are brilliant with him. I have no problem at all, and would really recommend them to other service users.
I have no hesitation about recommending Rainbow. The carers have always been prompt, and seek to make the best use of their time here. They are very professional and respectful, yet unfailingly cheerful. I look forward to their visits. Occasionally, I have had to change my regular dates, and the management has always acceded to my requests.
Rainbow Social Care has been fantastic over the last month or so since we started using them. Clear communications. Good standard of carers overall. Some better than others, which are to be expected with any care agency. However, management is willing to work with clients' preferences as much as possible. Very flexible care, especially regarding changing needs due to lockdown and shielding.
We have been using Rainbow for about 18-months now. We particularly like the fact that Dad has a steady group of carers, so they get to know each other and what needs doing. Dad is very comfortable with his carers, and that is important to him, and to us. Communication with us is excellent, either by email or phone, and the manager takes calls whenever needed, and responds accordingly; indeed, very recently when Dad was very poorly and was then taken into hospital, the manager and 2 of her team went above and beyond to do whatever was necessary to take care of him.
I have found the manager to be incredibly prompt in responding to any query we have, and we have been utterly delighted with the care given. It has given great peace of mind to know that there is somebody coming in and out to my parents at a time when I cannot travel. To know that daily tasks they are unable to complete are being done.
I live a long way from my cousin, and because of my age and the situation caused by the virus, I am unable to visit him. He has learning difficulties and several medical problems. I am therefore dependent on Rainbow Social services for ensuring every aspect of his well being. In December 2020 he was advised to move to a facility that would provide a higher level of care as his condition had deteriorated. The manager of Rainbow Social services took charge of his move, liaising with Social Services and other agencies. It is no exaggeration to say that the manager displayed a high level of professionalism in going over and above the call of duty in order to settle my cousin in his new accommodation. Rainbow has ensured that he receives the appropriate medical attention at a time when this is difficult to achieve. Every member of Rainbow who has contact with my cousin has shown him kindness, patience and compassion. I have no hesitation in recommending Rainbow Social Care.
