I am very pleased with the support my mother is receiving from Home Instead. Her carer is very supportive and kind to my mother. They go shopping together and any other activities that need to be actioned. Her carer helps my mother in the house with ironing and helps her with tidying out the fridge etc. They also sit and have a chat. The companionship and friendship have been a great support to my Mother. The carer and office staff are very respectful and polite. Also, The office staff and Manager are always very helpful and supportive and quick to respond. Feedback from my mother is that she is very happy with the service and support provided.

My first contact with 'Home Instead' was in November 2021. I'd just come out of hospital, and my family had arranged for me to have support from the company, in order to help me adjust to moving into a new flat. All the ladies who provided 'companionship' were kind, courteous and very helpful. Although each lady was different, their support allowed me to enjoy life again. My confidence returned after having had severe anxiety and depression. Office staff were helpful and supportive and was much appreciated. After 2 1/2 years of care, some of the ladies have become friends. I can thoroughly recommend 'Home Instead's' help, support and care. First class!

I think it's a question of managing expectations. I see the wider picture since a client/staff meeting which I could attend recently. I expected to form a relationship with one helper who came two hours a week. I have had five different helpers, one heavily pregnant. But all pleasant, friendly and helpful. Managing staff notes is challenging and I like meeting new people and appreciate cleaning and use of a car particularly. I have two carers in my family. Thank you.

Following a successful engagement of Home Instead around 2010 to 2013 for my late mother, we were pleased to see that the high standards are still in place in 2024. Our aunt (my late mother's younger sister) has benefited hugely from the daily weekday contact and support. Accurate billing, quarterly client review meeting. Great service.

My carer keeps me safe and I always look forward to spending time together. She makes me get the choice of where to go and what to do and helps me out and about. The carer and I couldn't be better.

During my stepmother's terminal illness, Home Instead carers helped us ensure that she was comfortable, safe and cared for in her own home right to the end. The care service was consistent, thoughtful, flexible and adapted quickly as her needs and medical requirements changed. The carers went out of their way to ensure that her wishes and preferences were honoured and that she was never left without appropriate medical support. As a family, we will always be grateful for their professionalism and kindness.

My mother has enjoyed the support from this care provider for over six months now and is delighted with the service provided. A very professional act on both sides of the business with management and care team both very responsive and empathetic. We are delighted at the choice we made.

We could not be more happy with the care provided by our two carers and the others from Home Instead. We really get the sense that they are "caring" for my aunt not just providing a service. I love being able to read a little report on how the visit has gone each day. Home Instead as a company has been well-managed and easy to deal with. They are more expensive than other companies we looked at but I would say that it is money well spent and probably a better reflection of the true cost and value of the service.

We approached Home Instead when we were in desperate need of help managing my elderly father at home and from the moment we contacted Home Instead we felt we were in safe hands. They arranged to visit very quickly and from the very first visit, they were able to help us put in place what we needed and arrange for a carer to start within days. The carer was lovely and kind, professional and so respectful of my father. Sadly, we only needed their help for a short time but I cannot recommend them highly enough - they are an unusual combination of incredibly professional expertise with warmth kindness and respect that makes them feel like friends from the outset. Our only regret would be that we didn't engage them earlier.

The Home Instead care team have been looking after my 90-year-old dad at his home since November 2020. For the last five years, he has had dementia, and without their help, he would have had to go into a care home. He has four visits per day, and through a video link, at his door and in his lounge, we are able to check in on him. In doing so, we have been struck by the respect and warmth of all the carers who look after Dad. They support his daily medication regime, bulk cooks his favourite meals, and ensure his hygiene levels are maintained, regularly laundering his clothing and bedding. But perhaps, more importantly, each and every one of the many faces Dad sees treats him with respect and listens attentively to his stories, most of which they will have heard before... With my sister and myself living 400+ miles away, it has been a great comfort to know that he is being so well cared for and that his wish of continuing to live in his home of 50 years has been fulfilled!

The care provided was excellent. Carers were punctual, pleasant, and most helpful. They were flexible and nothing was a trouble. We would recommend you to anyone. Office staff sorted a question one evening most helpfully and efficiently one evening. The initial person who came to help us was first class. They had very good empathy with the person who required help, and with myself. We would certainly use you again. Thank you.

I was delighted with the two carers who supported me for two weeks (approximately 4th December 2022 until approximately 18th December) in every way! Arrived on time and supported me throughout each day with great care. Extremely friendly and polite. I give a score of 100/100!

When my partner had to go back to Australia over the Christmas holidays (as her father was extremely ill and very frail) we contacted several home care providers to secure someone to come in and help me while she was away for several weeks. Home Instead were quick to respond and arrange a visit to our home to find out how they could help us. We have found them to be an extremely professional, caring and compassionate company that have been completely responsive to our/my needs since we asked them to provide the support I needed while my partner was away in Australia. I have been extremely impressed with the home support staff that they have provided for me, and also with the managers working tirelessly in the background. We will definitely keep using Home Instead to provide excellent support for us and I can't recommend them highly enough. Brilliant.

I have had close contact with Home Instead over the last two weeks following some issues with my elderly mother. On the first occasion, Home Instead contacted me. On the second, I had to contact them and inform them of an emerging situation. On both occasions, Home Instead has been helpful, reassuring, practical and supportive. I have nothing but praise for both the care provider and for the manager who dealt with the issues. I live 400 miles away from my mother and Home Instead provide the support and reassurance needed.

The service provided by Home Instead has simply been phenomenal. Every member of the team that has provided care for my mother has gone above and beyond what the family expected. Not only is it the care workers who are in attendance but it is also the office staff who are very pleasant and appear to be well trained as their knowledge and understanding of the services is of a very high standard. Each and every team member has exceeded our expectations and the level of care given to my mum has made things a lot easier on the family as this has eased a lot of stress and worry knowing my mum is well cared for and has her requirements met without any fuss.

My 91 year old mum has been taken care of by Home Instead for nearly a year now and I can't thank the carers and staff enough for the care and the attention they give to my mum amazing what they do. They try to keep a routine as best they can having the same carers whom mum has got to know, love and rely on. Mum looks forward to seeing their smiling happy faces each day. I really don't know how we could cope without them they are invaluable. Obviously high standards in training as well as down to earth loving carers who clearly love their job. Mum can stay at the house she loves. The office staff keep me updated and give me great advice they are so kind and friendly like the carers. I can not recommend Home Instead enough. They will help and change the families' lives for the better thank you, thank you Home Instead. It's an 11 out of 10 from me.

I was keen to keep my elderly mother at home as long as she was able and latterly she has been able to stay with me, despite my working full time. This would not have been possible without Home Instead. They have worked with us to increase the level of care needed and have done their best to ensure continuity of carers as far as possible. This has allowed me to step back in the knowledge that Mum is safe and being well looked after when I am at work, by carers who really care. They have engaged with local social services, OTs and Physios and District Nurses to ensure that Mum is receiving a comprehensive joined up service. They have been able to provide round-the-clock cover with sleepovers to allow me to take some time away, without the need for a full-time live-in carer, although this would be an option in the future if needed. The office staff are friendly, caring and understanding and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I can't thank the Home Instead team enough.

The carer was a last-minute substitute for our regular carer but she slotted in as if she had always been there. Very friendly and willing to go along with whatever my husband wanted to do and very patient with his short attention/concentration span as well as prolonged periods doing the same thing.
