Well we're to start after trying over five care company's over the past year and not one made it past 4 days. I was recommended Right at Home through a friend who is very fussy thought they must be amazing if she could not pick up on nothing not one fault. Rang Right at Home and came out to meet my mam when I opened the front door I found a very smart lady smart uniform fresh and pressed hair tied back. First thing I said was were have you been this was exactly what I was looking for not like some young kid false eye lashes full make up chewing gum. Any she came in and chatted to myself and mam we done all the forms. But what stood out above all other care companies, they asked about my mom's childhood right up to the present day. It was explained that they do this with every client so they have a subject to talk about with the service user. I felt like I could have cried the fact that they care about their clients. And it's not just a job and having brilliant care staff in the company.

This care company provided outstanding care for my husband at such short notice when other care companies let us down. The carers were very attentive and genuinely caring, would totally recommend this care company.

Prior to engaging Right at Home, both management and the care team invested time to understand the differing needs of both my parents. It wasn't simply a process of establishing the hours per day required, but more about how daily home care would best be provided from a human relationship perspective as well as being respectfully delivered. The dedicated care team are very friendly and professional and both my parents feel very well looked after and are totally comfortable with the close-knit team of 3 members of staff in particular that were specifically selected by the senior care manager who has continued to "check in" with me as the only child to ensure that as a family we are happy how the service is being provided. I would highly recommend the services of Right at Home as they inherently understand how vitally important it is to deliver home care services in both a compassionate and respectful manner when individual family members are potentially at their most vulnerable.

Your team has been caring for me for 8 months now and I find all have carried out their regular duties in the most manner. They all have shown respect and always asked if there was anything else I would have them do. Always smiling and cheery and made me feel I could face the day as except for close family and two lifelong friends I am alone all day.

Right at Home carers and management are professional, very caring and considerate when attending to my mum for personal and daily duties, keeping her company and giving Mum medication and inhalers.

The standard of care from the company is outstanding, three members of staff made an impact on Mam's daily care. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making Mam feel part of your lives. Making her smile and always willing to do anything asked of them, also any queries or problems office staff very helpful. Once again thank you and I highly recommend this company.

Thank you for all the kindness, gentleness and respect you added to my wife and our mother. You all provided our family with a sense of relief, knowing that my wife was in good hands each and every day. We will all be forever grateful for your support. The care you provided meant that she was able to stay at home throughout her illness. A special thank you to the carers who supported my wife through her last couple of weeks. Your presence at her funeral meant a lot. Our warmest thanks and deep appreciation to you all.

Great care company, highly recommend them. My grandad looks forward to his carers arriving, they always cheer him up when he is having a bad day since my grandma passed away. He has the best team that know what his needs are and we as a family never have any concerns.

My mam currently has carers from this company and I cannot praise them enough, I can go to work knowing that she is receiving the best care possible, her carers always meet her needs even going above what is required. Any problems they have or if she is running low on basics they leave me a note, nothing is ever a problem! Lovely girls I couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.

Right at Home were able to provide much needed support to get a wheelchair-bound elderly gentleman from his care home to a wedding and back. The family were very concerned it would be too much for him but they managed it with genuine care, grace, and a can-do attitude that completely took the worry out of a very pressurised day for us. A big big thank you to one member of staff in particular. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Overall a poor experience. They used agency staff frequently. These staff were not fully trained. They didn’t use PPE which concerned me and my mam. My mam reported to me that one of the agency staff attempted to feed her partly frozen fish. They tried to microwave it for 10 ‘mins directly from the freezer. This in itself was a massive concern. There were too many instances where they said they couldn’t make visits and in the end, we had quite a lot of stress trying to get someone there to care for my mam. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this company based on my personal experience with testimony from my mam. I’ll also add that my mam did get along with some of the staff and would have been happy with one member of the team staying. RAH decided to withdraw their services giving only 3 days' notice to us (apparently agency staff costing too much) which left us in a desperate situation. We asked the carer if they wanted to stay on for continuity purposes, but this was declined.

The standard of care my grandmother was provided by this company was outstanding! The level of care the care staff provided was absolutely fantastic it was all person centred towards my grandmother. Nothing was ever an issue to the office staff if we had any extra requirements. I could not recommend or thank Right at Home Tyneside enough they have went above and beyond for my grandmother!

My Grandmother is well looked after by this company, with four visits every day I feel comfortable knowing the carers are friendly, reliable and caring carers. Communication skills are excellent, ensuring that any concerns or issues are highlighted to me immediately. Can’t recommend enough.

My beloved brother recently passed, and I would like to thank Right at Home, particularly the carers, for all the help and support they gave both my brother and the family over the years. My brother saw carers as part of the extended family and always had a smile for them. I'd also like to thank the owner, for not only overseeing everything but also for assistance with finding issues and standing firm when necessary. I not only miss my brother but also seeing the carers every day. Right at Home is a business that really cares for it's clients and their families.

My Mother suffered from Parkinson's and in December 2020 was sectioned with what is called Parkinson's Dementia, comprising of severe paranoia and hallucinations etc. The 6 months leading up to this and the 6 months that followed were extremely difficult on many levels. Our main aim became to get her home with 2 Carers 24/7. Where do you start with no experience or knowledge of such things? Right at Home became our sounding board, support and advisor throughout and without this guidance I don't know if we would have achieved our final goal. We succeeded in getting her home, where she died 2 weeks later. During this period, she was surrounded by her husband, 4 daughters and 9 grandchildren in the home that she had created.
