The Homecare People provide an excellent service that is far superior to the standard care agencies provided by social services. The carers are smartly dressed, friendly and cater for the clients' needs in a professional way. They also quickly adapt to changing circumstances without any fuss, with the management team overseeing the transitions.

I am very pleased with the service your company has given my husband. The ladies come once a week to give a bath and hair wash, which I am not able to do. They are caring, cheerful and very professional and I love them coming here. My husband is also very happy for them to help him. Thank you.

We have been using the services of The Homecare People for my mother's at-home care in Twyford since November 2023. From the first meeting, the team demonstrated its commitment to excellence, taking the time to understand our specific requirements and creating a care plan that perfectly suited my mother's needs, in particular her Mixed Dementia. What truly sets The Homecare People apart is the exceptional quality of its carers who have shown genuine warmth, patience and empathy, making my mother feel comfortable and secure. They've taken the time to connect with her on a personal level, learning about her background, interests and preferences and have supplemented this with stimulating daily activities at home and further afield. This is all backed up by an efficient office-based management team and an app providing the carers' reports of every single visit. I highly recommend The Homecare People to anyone seeking at-home care services for their loved ones - a standout choice.

The Homecare People were recommended to me five years ago when my husband was taken ill and became bedbound at home. For 3 years with 2 carers 3 times a day they regularly and kindly attended to my husband. When he died in 2022 I kept them on for me with one carer 3 times a week. I have subsequently undergone two knee replacement operations and during my convalescence (the second spell of which is now current) I have one carer 3 times a day. I cannot speak highly enough of their skill, knowledge and reliability as well as the friendly and respectful way in which they carry out their tasks.

Extremely kind and caring team. Very professional to cater to individual needs with the utmost respect. My father has gone from reluctant to calm and enjoys his daily banters.

I am writing this review to express just how impressed I am with the care and respect my father has been shown by his carer. She has met his needs, whether it is to ensure he has fluids near him or contacting his surgery when there has been a clinical need, always keeping me up to date. He could not have had a kinder, more caring person.

The Homecare People began looking after my mother a number of years ago to relieve the pressure on my father. They also kept an eye on him too. After my mother passed away, some of the girls came to the funeral. They then looked after my father, and as they knew my mother was a great comfort to him. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The girls were always professional, treating my parents with care and compassion. Any concern was passed on to the family. I have complete confidence in The Homecare People and thoroughly recommend them. We found them to be invaluable.

The Homecare People have provided a high standard of care for both my parents for several years. They are very approachable, helpful and understanding at what can be very difficult times. The standard of care provided is excellent and they take time to understand their client. I have been very satisfied with the service received - both in the care provided and with the management and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

They have all been brilliant, always there when I need them. They have been very flexible in changing the care I need. It is so helpful to have someone explain what is needed and why, then they just get on with it. I know my time is limited and I am so grateful for the lovely carers and support. Thank you.

My mum was cared for by The Homecare people for several years before she passed away. All the staff were professional, reliable and very caring. My mum was severely disabled and needed a lot of help and attention. The carers carried out all tasks to a high standard whilst preserving her dignity. She had four visits a day, which she looked forward to. This enabled her to remain living at home. The office staff were also very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Our family will be forever grateful to The Homecare people and I would recommend them to anyone.

I am very satisfied with the care I have been receiving since 2018 and find the carers very friendly and helpful. In view of the difficult circumstances, due to covid, the company has coped extremely well and continued to supply good care throughout. I feel we should all be more appreciative of the people prepared to be our carers.

The attending carers are always punctual, very polite and caring with the best interests of the client in mind and make the patient feel relaxed. We find the service very good and like that the carers engage with the rest of the family on each visit to the house. No hesitation in recommending The Homecare People after our experiences.

My 92-year-old mother has a live-in carer who is attentive, kind and helpful. They have formed a good bond and Mum is being well looked after. We have been impressed with the Homecare company and found the Care Manager to be really supportive, helpful and understanding. Always quick to answer calls and sorting out any queries efficiently and promptly. Mum is getting excellent quality of care at home. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Having made the first decision to contact Homecare, it very soon became obvious that I had made the right one. The caring staff are so kind and helpful. Efficient, kind and totally professional. I would gladly recommend Homecare to give peace of mind.

My brother and I have partnered with The Homecare People team in the care of my parents for the last few years, and it is a real partnership. The level of care shown by the carers who visit my parents has been exemplary. The office team is extremely responsive and always prepared to sit down and talk about the level of care that is appropriate and how the programme we have in place is meeting needs. If something doesn’t go right (and sometimes it doesn’t) it is quickly rectified, and there’s never any question that the team is anything other than 100% committed. It’s this level of listening, advising and delivering that I really appreciate, and my parents love the visits they receive.

The service is always friendly and helpful. After my hospitalisation for pneumonia late last year, very helpful rehabilitation assistance was provided. Excellent assistance was also given interfacing with NHS audiology after COVID lockdown delays cancelled an earlier appointment. Very helpful comments have helped to determine my future care needs.

I am very glad of their help. Home care allows me to stay in my own home. They always respond quickly to any queries I have or changes in my circumstances.

What I like about this company is they employ staff who speak English and go above and beyond their duties, are very friendly and treat you with dignity especially with personal care. The management looks after their carers as well as their clients, thanking them and awarding the for above and beyond care. Appreciation goes a long way and any problems you might have are dealt with immediately. "FAB COMPANY".
