Treated with care and interest. There was at times a slight problem with over-long gaps between visits. Overall very good.

The staff at Bluebird Care are fantastic. My mum has dementia and diabetes and has eyesight issues. I can't recommend them enough for the work and support they do. Very grateful to have had them. So thankful.

My mum has had Bluebird Care for 6 months and they have been polite and respectful during this time. Their app is really helpful. They have been charged with giving mum her evening medication and have been very reliable in this task.

I cannot rate Bluebird Care highly enough. Their support and compassion made a huge difference to me at a very difficult time, and their standard of care goes above and beyond. I am amazed at how much they care about the people in their charge. Would highly recommend.

All Bluebird Care carers were kind and helpful to my parents. They worked very hard all the time they were at the house. It was easy to contact the office, even at weekends. One small criticism is that carers often had to be shown how to work basic appliances. Perhaps more training could be given in this area.

The care that my wife had during April and the beginning of May was first-class. They were kind and considerate and gave excellent care throughout whilst maintaining a cheerful smile and attitude towards us both.

Bluebird provided excellent care for my aunt; carers always went above and beyond to make sure she was happy, well cared for and had all her needs met. My aunt was always happy and the excellent care she received meant that she was able to remain in her own home, with her cat, which was really important to my aunt. The carers knew her well, treated her as an individual, and always kept her best interests at the centre of everything they did.

We were lucky enough to have Bluebird arrange my Mum’s care during the last eighteen months of her life. She was a very independent woman, so the idea of a carer was at first difficult for her to entertain. But the care she received from Bluebird was great. As a family we felt totally supported and that our darling mum was always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Bluebird spent time and thought matching her with the right carer, and her respite care was also top-notch. As a company Bluebird is great to deal with, nothing is too much trouble for them, and you always get a swift and very personable response if you have a problem or query. We feel grateful that Bluebird flew in to look after our beloved mum at this important chapter of her life.”

We have been using Bluebird Care agency to look after Mum, who has severe dementia, for approximately two years. We have always found the staff to be kind and helpful and the carers are generally very good. They do their best to keep Mum happy, cared for and well.

We have used Bluebird Care for a year now. The organisation has helped bring stability to our parent's home and the live-in help coupled with the domiciliary care means we can increase and decrease the care as the needs of my parents change. The management of the carers themselves and the interaction of the managers with my parents (and ourselves) was very good at the start and has since tailed off, with one of the managers, which my parents particularly liked, leaving and that post does not seem to have been replaced. The live-in carer my parents had for the first year was new to Bluebird and was ok but there were enough issues that it was clear for a number of months that a change of carer was needed - it took time to get a change as the company is small so there is not the pool of carers to choose from. However, a new carer has now started and it's going well. Some of the domiciliary carers are brilliant and my parents have loved it when they have covered the live-in carer holidays.

We couldn't wish for better care, both from the company and the carers. They are all magnificent! Everyone that comes to the house is cheerful and completely willing to do anything, either for my husband's personal care, or domestic tasks for me. And with familiarity, I seldom have to explain or even ask.

Bluebird ladies are the most caring and helpful people. They treated my husband with the utmost care. He was always left clean and they were. Discreet and always with a cheerful smile. They also asked about my welfare which was so kind. Sadly my husband died in February 2024.

I have felt very confident with the care provided for my Dad. The carers have been kind professional and respectful taking care to build a rapport with my Dad so he feels comfortable and dignified being looked after. The agency has been extremely flexible around my parents’ needs and responsive to anything that arises. They have provided exactly what has been needed at very short notice and the communication has been excellent. This has been very reassuring at a time which has been difficult as we come to terms with my dad's need for a greater level of care at home.

I found all the Bluebird staff looked after my brother with care and understanding over the last 2 years. In his final few weeks, he was treated with dignity and it was a great help to me that I knew he was in such good hands. How do you put a price on such good care, I think your staff were wonderful.

For nearly six weeks, carers from Bluebird cared for my terminally ill mother. They showed such skill and empathy for both Mum and ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble for the live-in carers and those who supported them. They also skilfully managed Mum’s complex medical needs and medication. The care managers were very supportive too. The carers quickly established a valuable rapport with Mum, giving her the reassurance and lovingkindness so needed by dying people. Their work was also a tremendous comfort to us and to Mum’s friends. We will never forget their warmth and commitment.

My 98 year old mother needed full time care in her own flat. I contacted Bluebird on a referral. They were proactive throughout, found a very good carer who understood my mother and took her role seriously. Bluebird responded to any issues, kept me posted and overall very satisfied with the service. I have recommended them to others.

After shortlisting several care providers for our father we selected Bluebird Care and have been very happy with the care they have delivered (which our family would rate at 4 Star ++). The absolute key for us though and why 5-star overall, is: 1. Bluebird's help (and that of their manager in particular) in navigating what is such an incredibly confusing and stressful process of linking GP and NHS services, Occupational Therapists, best practices for care etc. 2. Their reliability/consistency of care visits (after experiencing missed, uncaring, and often late visits with public social care). Bluebird they have been outstanding in their drive to help us get what is needed. We have also found 45-minute slots have helped keep prices manageable - as care is of course hugely expensive. We would recommend Bluebird in Oxford, especially if you are in need of help setting up care quickly and very effectively and do have available funds to meet their prices.

The care I received while recovering from a traumatic injury combined the highest professionality and efficiency with (so importantly) great kindness and sensitivity. The care I received made a great difference for my psychological as well as my physical recovery.

I know that she will miss the lovely team you have. You all became friends with her, and your support both emotional and physical, was a vital part of her well-being. I know times were awful in lockdown, but you never faltered. You went the extra mile for her and made the darker days seem so much better. Thank you from all of our family for what you did. I would recommend you to anyone.

I can only congratulate Bluebird Care on the staff they have working for them. They are so respectful, courteous, warm and incredibly caring to both my parents. My parents now look forward to their visits and feel like their friends are visiting not just carers. I cannot recommend them enough. The office staff are fantastic too and are there to speak to you when needed. Thanks again for all you do.
