View Full Details of Bluebird Care Wiltshire SouthMorning call, carer tells my dad to leave the urine soaked bedsheets to dry out? After the evening carer has been and gone, I visit my dad to find wet bedding still on his bed. Is this what this care company calls care? Treat your clients with the kindness and dignity that they deserve. New care provider starting, not a moment too soon.
Bluebird Care Wiltshire South is providing Mum with incredible care at a very challenging period in her life and the life of our family. She fell four months ago, sustaining potentially life-changing injuries, and on discharge from hospital, has needed daily personal care. The care team are kind, professional, good-humoured and hard-working. Their visits have Mum laughing and chatting, transforming her mood when at times she feels understandably low. They are respectful of her needs and very supportive of my father who is now her full-time carer. The office team bend over backwards to sort out rotas and medication, are instantly responsive to calls and emails and always patient with enquiries. With so many new problems to solve, it is such a relief to know they have everything covered. They even made us aware of health issues Mum had missed, maybe saving her life. All of them are a huge blessing to our family, I am so grateful for their care and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Care is generally satisfactory and carers are pretty good at managing my wife's verbal aggression. She responded better to ethnic British carers - a culture matter. More attention could be given to catheter training. Regarding administration, telephone support has been very good. Less satisfactory has been the rare notification of late arrivals or change of carer.
My family and I would like to express sincere gratitude for the professional, respectful and compassionate care given to my mother during the last few weeks of her life. We were lucky to have a wonderful live-in carer, who was attentive and discreet. We would also like to thank the supervisor who liaised with all the relevant NHS providers to ensure that our mother had all the necessary equipment, facilities and community nursing that allowed our mother to pass peacefully in her home. We would highly recommend Bluebird Care Wiltshire.
Bluebird Care has been helping my dad for the last six months. He recently had an unplanned stay in hospital and needed extra visits after he was discharged. I was expecting a delay before this could start but they set it up extremely quickly. This has given me and Dad peace of mind - thank you.
All the staff we have met so far have been excellent: they are professional, very well trained, respectful, efficient, good at listening/communicating and punctual. The office staff have always been very responsive and helpful. Thank you.
I have found the help of the carers valuable and useful in many ways, depending on my physical abilities of the day. Particularly putting clean sheets on the bed as needed, housework, especially cleaning. Recently I have wanted to go up to the post office and we have gone either by car or pushing my chair, depending on the weather. Communication is important. At times I need to remind her to speak up and face me to hear because of my deafness. I would like to thank them for all their help.
Good service. Carers are friendly and helpful and their care is very good.
It is difficult to summarise the work of a number of people as I get different individuals. Altogether, everyone works hard and produces an excellent result.
All the carers I have met at my mum's home have been extremely friendly and fully aware of my mum's needs. In addition, they are always happy to chat with my mum which fulfils a very important social aspect of the calls. It's not always an easy job but they are always smiling and kind. I know my mum is very appreciative of their visits. I also like the fact that when I'm there, they are proactive in asking if there is anything else they can do once regular tasks are complete. Interestingly, staff have mentioned that they enjoy working for Bluebird Care. I'm always contacted promptly if there is an issue that needs to be sorted out.
We have experienced several different care companies for my brother and Bluebird have been the best. The training is very thorough. The carers are obviously supported well which comes across at every visit. Communication is very easy and always listened to and acted on if necessary. They are very reliable and have never missed a call through Covid or bad weather conditions. The company feels like it works as a team of friends who are always there to help, listen and carry out the job very professionally.
All staff at Bluebird Care are fantastic. They treat my father with respect and look after him excellently. They always arrive on time. All employees go above and beyond. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I have found on the whole they look after Mum very well, even during the past year of the pandemic. They have always turned up and have been very good.
An efficient and helpful organisation whose carers are very kind and committed, providing an excellent respite for me and a good fun time for my wife.
I am very happy with the care and attention the carers provide. They are all polite and will do anything for me that I ask.
We started to receive support from Bluebird Care Wiltshire South in December 2020. They have been able to provide at home care for my father who has vascular dementia and also emotional support to my mother who is his main carer. My parents have found all of the staff to be friendly, caring and they look forward to seeing them. I have also found the administrative staff to be efficient and very approachable. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
We have been very impressed with the service we have received from Bluebird Care Wiltshire South over many months. We have been used to getting up early in the morning and so requested a 7am visit to bed, wash and dress my husband and hoist him to his chair. Without exception a carer arrives on time, with a smile on her face and a gentle and caring manner. Whatever the weather they arrive as promised and we have never been let down. They are well trained, professional at all times, wear full PPE and go out of their way to ensure that my husband is as comfortable as possible at all times. I always feel very safe leaving him in their care. I would say that they all go over and above what we expect of them, to make sure both my husband and myself are happy and comfortable when they leave and we have never felt the visit is rushed. They are an excellent company and we feel lucky to be in their care.
Very friendly, efficient help.
1st Class.
I was recommended to Bluebird Care and so pleased I contacted them. Their care for my mother is exceptional. The Carer’s are all very well trained and have vast experience of the kind of care required. They have assisted with the responsibility of daily care which has helped me enormously. They are always on the end of the phone if needs be and offer valuable knowledge. Nothing is too much trouble and my mother always enjoys their company. During these uncertain times they have worked professionally and the continued care has never been a problem. I would not hesitate to recommend at all and already have.
