View Full Details of Crystal CareAs a retired Care Home Manager with over 30 years of experience I have found Crystal Care to be extremely professional, helpful and caring. We had to move my dad from another care company as they were not meeting his needs. The staff from Crystal Care have put my dad's needs front and centre of their care. They encourage him to continue with his hobbies, they show him respect and patience when he becomes confused, they engage with him and take time to listen to him and show him so much care. I now am able to relax knowing that my dad is well looked after and that he enjoys seeing his new friends as he sees them as they are the same faces on a regular basis. The staff also are wearing their recognisable uniforms that not only helps him know who they are but also lets me know that they understand about P.P.E. They have knowledge of medication and how to administer it correctly. They also know how to prepare his food correctly so as not to make him unwell. Thank you.
I am the carer for my husband, and we have been receiving respite care from Crystal Care, through the Parkinson's Society, for around one year. Our overall experience is excellent, as is the care provided. My husband has been treated with great care and consideration by the staff concerned and I have benefited greatly from the respite provided. We will now be looking to Crystal Care for further support, in addition to the respite care we already receive. As the cost of the care we have received so far has been covered by the Parkinson's Society, we cannot comment on value for money, only comment that it has been of great value to us.
Had very good expereince.
It is very helpful to have male carers to shower my husband every day. I am grateful that the carers have learned to access my husband without disturbing me.
Crystal Care has been extremely helpful, the care we have received has been professional and compassionate.
Crystal Care is a good service.
I am a professional working disabled person and I have been with Crystal Care since 2021. In that time I have developed several excellent relationships with my carers and with the admin and management teams. As well as personal care they have supported me in getting around to work, social and medical appointments and I have even been on short holidays with one of my carers. Care and support are provided in a polite, respectful and friendly manner. Timekeeping is good and the organisation is easy to contact if there are any queries or special arrangements to be made. I have a much more independent life with Crystal Care than I had before and feel more secure about the future with their support. Based on my own experiences, I would certainly recommend them to anyone seeking home care.
The overnight waking care my mother-in-law received was quite simply superb. Every carer put her needs first and quickly established a routine that both suited and supported her. My mother-in-law so looked forward to 10 pm every night. The whole company did so much for her and for us as a family; we would not have got through those 3 months without them. The app that was used was brilliant; providing reassurance but also a way to communicate if I needed to purchase certain things. If you are looking for first-class care for a family member, then please contact KarePlus. You will not be disappointed. They are quite simply brilliant at what they do. Thank you to all the staff.
Since my mother came from a nursing care home to live at home with me we have had carers three times daily from Kare Plus, Wirral. The carers are fantastic and enable Mum to stay at home with me. Having the same team visiting means they get to know my mum's care needs and deliver care with compassion, dignity, safety, and humour (which is needed!). The carers are sensitive to our needs as a family and I highly recommend Kare Plus. They deserve a pay rise!
1. This company doesn't turn up on time. 2. Won't do cleaning. 3. When they turn up late my Dad is already washed and dressed so why does he still have to pay? 4. Some staff are very friendly, others turn up and are uninterested and smelling like they have just stepped out of an ashtray.
I am very happy with the service my mother receives from Kare Plus. The staff are always very helpful if there are any problems. They often go beyond the call of duty to ensure my mum is happy and well cared for. I feel they have a genuine concern for the well-being of their clients.
The most positive experience from Kare Plus is how bespoke and tailored they have made the provision of care for my father. After initial difficulties with finding carers with the correct skillset and some inexperienced carers, I really do commend the management of the care agency. Any raised concerns are acknowledged and appropriately managed.
Very happy with the quality of care my dad receives. I feel the carers genuinely care and all seem to be aware of his needs. I am also happy with the responsiveness of the office if I need to speak to them about any changes in dads situation. The best care company we have dealt with in recent years.
I was a full-time carer for my mum. Looking after my mum through the night, as well as the day, became too much for me as my own health began to suffer. We were given a young lady, who came to our home and cared for my mum through the night so I could get proper sleep. This young lady was an absolute godsend to us. She was a genuine, caring person and my mum adored her as she felt safe and I could go to bed knowing my Mum was in safe hands. My mum recently passed away and I was so glad this young lady was with me at the time of Mum's passing. The support she gave to me and my dad at such a sad time was amazing. This girl went above and beyond and even stayed with us until after the undertaker's had been, which was hours after her shift had finished. I wish I could name this person because I would love to give her the recognition that she deserves. For a young lady, she will go far and would personally recommend her to anyone. I am going to miss her not coming anymore.
Kare Plus has always shown great care and understanding of my friend's needs. They have always been courteous and professional but have also become part of her family. I believe the girls go far and beyond what is expected of them.
Can only say that the treatment that my husband has received has been excellent. The staff have treated him with the utmost respect and kindness. Also, their support for me has been outstanding and has helped me through a very difficult time in our lives. I can honestly say that I don't know how we would have managed without them. They are helping me to care for a very precious person and I will be eternally grateful.
I find that on the whole carers are very good but the younger ones need a little extra training. Also regarding masks, gloves and aprons which should be worn at all times by all carers, but they are not. I have had to remind carers, some come without them. I get quite frustrated at times, I have reported this to the office staff. One member of staff I have a gold star for her excellent all-round care. Thank you.
I have always found the staff to be very reliable, trustworthy and very caring. I have known staff to go beyond the care of duty and will always go the extra mile to make my father's day. The best compliment I can give is it always makes my father's day when they arrive and he only stops smiling when they are leaving.
All the care team we have met have been friendly, caring and lovely to have in the house. They all help my father with his medications and are willing to oversee his food preparations. he is getting used to the routine and is happy to let them in the house. If they have been held up they have called to let him know. All the staff are happy and love their work. We have been pleased with the help and it has allowed us to carry on with our lives and allowing Dad to become more independent.
we have used Kare Plus for the last 12 months for my mother who has vascular dementia. They have been so professional and have provided the same small number of carers that have helped with both mum and dad to feel supported and cared for. Hopefully mum can stay at home with dad as long as possible.
