Overall, a good experience. Reliable, caring and conscientious. Sometime ago, I complained because a particular carer had rather a patronising attitude and my concern was immediately dealt with. Recently, a carer has stayed with me because of a particular problem. Timing of weekend visits has been erratic, despite my requests that it should always be around 8 am. However, I do feel really supported by Bluebird and just wish it wasn't quite so expensive!
Our mother has had carers from Bluebird Care since January 2025. After a short hospital stay it was necessary for her to have carers assist her with her personal care and help twice a day. The visiting times had to be adjusted to help with the care that was required in the morning and evening. Our mother is very happy with the carers that visit and she is building up a good relationship with the ones that visit regularly and understand her daily needs. It gives us peace of mind that someone is going in to care for her twice a day when family are not there and that she is able to talk to them of any concerns. The information for each visit is recorded after each visit so the family are able to check that all is well. We would recommend Bluebird Care to others .
The carers have been very sensitive to my wife's needs on getting up - a very hard time of day for her. They have been professional and caring whilst helping her. I have only praise for them, no negatives at all.
Bluebird Care has been providing me with carers regularly for approximately 18 months. Over this lengthy period a few of their carers have been outstanding. Since January 2025 Bluebird has improved their service to me and proved that they know me well. They have been flexible, rising to various requests for care at different times. They have been sending a limited team of carers that I know really well. A few of their carers are a joy to have around. They are seemingly always cheerful and know how to make me laugh or calm me down when needed. They are extremely efficient. They have a knack for picking up new skills fast and learning details really quickly. They take the initiative to carry out tasks themselves without being reminded what to do. They are able to cook and make well-presented appetising meals - important to clients like me, who sometimes lack an appetite. Some have even surprised me with little extra kind and thoughtful touches.
Bluebird Care has provided me with daily support for the last four years. I've experienced the highs and lows of care of which the highs outweighed the lows. The care manager who runs the office really cares about the clients and is always in contact. It's taken a while but I've finally got an amazing team of carers coming into me daily, I'm really content and for the first time in twenty years, I feel accepting of the fact that I need care. The carers respect my privacy and push me to be independent in a safe way. Thank you Bluebird for enabling me to stay in my own home.
In May/June it became clear that I needed help to look after my wife, whilst I recovered from my operations. I spent some time seeking advice on who to choose to give the care needed. I chose Bluebird and my wife has received excellent care from the individual carers and good assistance from the office personnel. All the carers are punctual well presented and friendly. Over the year my situation has improved as has that of my wife. Since having the care services we are now able to enjoy life together. Thanks for all the efforts of everyone.
It was such a relief to have a very professional company working with me to care for my friend who needed 24/7 care at home. The staff, from the very first phone call, put me at ease and everything from there was extremely well handled. I cannot thank them enough for all the care, advice and professionalism that was shown to my friend, especially by the live-in carer who was superb. My thanks goes to all the staff at Bluebird Care.
Totally impressed by the professional service provided to Mum. All staff were very kind and considerate and of the highest professional integrity. Before going ahead, a member of staff met with Mum to fully understand her needs and ensure the service provided was tailored accordingly. Could not fault the service provided in any way.
From the very first assessment, we were impressed with the down to earth but caring feeling for us. We had several visits to enable me to go shopping and felt very relaxed leaving my husband with the gentleman carer. Thank you so much for helping us with this difficult situation.
Bluebird Care is absolutely fantastic. They helped us through a very difficult time. Mum was poorly and Dad had dementia. The care and professionalism my parents received from Bluebird was second to none. They were there when Mum passed and dealt so well with Mum, Dad and us. They were warm, got the jobs done (especially one of the main carers). They are reliable, professional, can adapt, from the manager through to carers they were great. Thank you.

Bluebird has made what may have been the most difficult month of my life so much easier. Every single one of their team went above and beyond in every single visit, making my nan's last hours on this Earth comfortable, clean and cheerful and keeping my grandad safe - as well as tending to our emotional wellbeing as relatives. Every single member of Bluebird we encountered used their initiative and got stuck in, in an environment that could be challenging at times. I felt so confident leaving my grandparents in their care allowing us to concentrate on other things. I cannot thank you all enough, we will remember you forever.
Care staff are very friendly and helpful. Bluebird provide a very good service, during the visit they always ask if there is anything more I want done if they have time. Timing of the app could be late at times. I have always understood my time would be around 7.50, but the last few weeks I have been up at 7.30; one day it was until 10 but no one came until 10.15 and I had done what I would do in the meantime. I know someone has to be first and someone later. As for care and attention, I cannot fault their time with me. A great team of carers, could not wish for better care.
Bluebird Care has transformed our mother's life and, consequently, ours. Their carers are a high standard - they are obviously well-trained and have met and exceeded our hopes. Within weeks, our mother was thriving, supported by an able team. And, overseen by an excellent care manager. We would not hesitate to recommend Bluebird to anyone who wants high-quality care and peace of mind.
My care has been excellent. I had an issue with a female carer, which was resolved. I have stated that I prefer female carers, but I still get male carers.

On the whole, the care I have received has been good. I have had many above and beyond, but I have also had a few that were unacceptable. Any issues have been dealt with promptly and professionally and for the most part to my satisfaction. There are ongoing niggles but I am working with Bluebird and they are working with me to resolve issues. Continuity of care needs to be maintained.

Morning visits can be anytime. They were at 9am for a year and then suddenly moved to 8am, which is less convenient, other than this, I am entirely grateful.
