Home Instead Cleveland supported in-care home for my mother for 3 years until she passed. Without them, my mother would have been in a care home long before that. She wanted to stay in her own home until she died and so she had her wish. Home Instead gave a caring, personal and well-managed service. It was flexible at short notice and able to provide increasing levels of support as my mother's needs increased. Can't speak highly enough about their support service.

Overall my experience with Home Instead can be summed up using these words: Reliable, flexible, professional. Whatever my need of the moment, it is attended to. It is just like having a butler!

I can't rate this company highly enough! When you live 300 miles away, you need to know your mum is in good hands. Every single one of the health professionals has been competent, caring and reliable. When we moved to be closer to Mum they continued to support us. Our heartfelt thanks to all, from the telephone receptionist to scheduling, to the supervisors and trainers. Highly recommended.

Mum always had excellent care from Home Instead Cleveland. Everyone was always helpful and professional. It was very good to see Mum build bonds with her carers, this made her very happy to have people in her home. All aspects of care, from introducing new carers to personal care, were carried out to a very high standard. We will miss the care from you.

I would like to commend one carer in particular, she always goes above and beyond she makes sure I'm comfortable she always makes sure everything is clean ie the commode. She is very gentle and explains everything. She isn't patronising at all. I just think she needs recognition.

My mam was quite reluctant to ask for help/assistance but she very soon was taken by the people that came to the house. They were always punctual and a joy to be around. She looked forward to their visits and would actually tell me that she 'loved' the ladies who attended. Home Instead became a feature of her life, that was assured to bring her some happiness

Excellent staff, always punctual, efficient and very caring. Dad is very happy and content. Administration team are always readily available and helpful. My family are completely happy and satisfied with Home Instead. A really great company.

The company's system is very well planned and executed. The carers are all well-trained, very knowledgeable and professional. Well presented, reliable and extremely pleasant.

My mother received excellent professional and personal support with care staff being highly dedicated to their roles often going above and beyond to ensure that her needs were met. We were always given plenty of notice if there was to be a change of carer and an introductory visit arranged before assigning a new carer even if only a very temporary arrangement due to sickness or holiday leave. This made such a big difference to my mother and was peace of mind to me given I live far away. Not once did I worry or feel any concern that her care would not be up to scratch. Carers are professional, caring and friendly providing not only a very high standard of care but also companionship and camaraderie backed up by an office team who also understand the importance their roles are in providing such good quality care. We certainly hit the jackpot when choosing Home instead of caring for our mother we couldn’t have chosen a better company.

Carers attended my mam twice a day and treated her with great respect and dignity. She met all the staff in advance and had several oversight visits to ensure standards were maintained. Management took time to explain to me, in detail, all the steps and processes involved in setting up a care package and I was confident in the wider organisation's support, having visited their offices.
