View Full Details of Alina Homecare RustingtonThe office and care staff have been amazing with my mum. It's reassuring to know she's safe and being looked after. The live-in and domiciliary carers have been very attentive and have built a good rapport with my mum. The staff are also very knowledgeable in terms of care practices and procedures. The price is in line with private market rates.
From the first phone call I made in order to make enquiries to the present day the manager and his staff could not have been more accommodating, professional, understanding, sympathetic or helpful. The app helps me to keep track of the care being provided which is always very thorough and for the duration of the time being paid for. The carers are friendly, thorough and respect people's dignity. The carers will encourage and support the client to be independent as much as possible and pay good attention to detail. Carers are patient and respectful to both the client and family. The manager and staff will go the extra mile where they can.
Contacting and setting up a care plan for my mum to leave hospital after a fall was very easy to do. Alinacare knew exactly what the NHS required for my mum to return home and they organised that very efficiently. Our plan has always been to enable my mum to regain her independence, albeit with some changes and the care given by Alinacare has been key to making this happen. The care plan is tailored specifically to suit the individual, taking into account of what encourages and helps the person to recover and regain self-confidence. Alinacare asks questions and gives suggestions we hadn't even thought about, all in a sensitive way. Having praised the organisational aspects, the greatest praise must go to the carers themselves. Every carer who visits is attentive, kind, cheerful and so willing to help in the best way. My mum looks forward to their visit and their little chats, thereby greatly benefiting in her physical and mental health. The carers are simply amazing people.
Very kind efficient carers who make my husband feel comfortable and at home. They are on time and do any small thing that you ask for. Will clean the shower after use which is really helpful. They give me confidence that my husband is receiving excellent care.
Lovely carer. Warm and compassionate. Flexible in what is asked. Usually giving a bath and making the bed, but takes in supermarket orders if one arrives. We look forward to the day she comes. Yes, we would recommend.
The first contact I had with Alina Homecare, Rustington was positive and supportive and I was confident that they could provide the care needed for my husband. The carers were always on time, professional yet friendly and very aware of his specific needs and our wishes. We were always informed early if there was a change to the usual carer. The carers were always willing to carry out tasks within the home such as ironing or cleaning. We would definitely still be using them now if my husband had not gone into care.
As a family, with a parent needing care, we are extremely pleased with the service we are receiving, from Alina Homecare. The office staff and On-Call service are excellent and give us peace of mind that there is always someone on the phone to help out when needed. The carers themselves are lovely. Professional and caring, and always treating our parent with dignity. As a family, it is lovely to have the application, so that we can keep in touch, and know what is happening, at all times.
We continue to be very impressed with the care services provided to my mother by everyone at Alina, having been badly let down by another local provider. An exemplary care package was implemented within just a few days of needing to change the care provider and my mother, whilst difficult, has accepted certain aspects of the care after only two weeks - something that was promised by the other provider but without success even after two years. We have trust in Alina that they will provide what they promise and that is what matters to us most.
Alina has really persevered in trying to help our mum. She will not accept care or help readily, yet they've continued to engage with her each day. We find them accessible at all times, with a friendly management team and committed staff. They have also interacted with other services, such as mental health and social services, to provide complete coverage.
I have no hesitation in recommending Alina Homecare. Their carers are always kind and considerate to my mother. I am grateful for their knowledge and positive input into her life and the confidence they give me, as well as peace of mind, knowing her needs are met every day etc. showing a professional approach.
Mum is very happy with the care she receives from Alina Homecare. She is treated with dignity at all times. The service is reliable and the carers friendly. Mum likes routine and does not easily adapt to change. As her daughter, it is easy for me to check on the app to see the note for each visit. Mum has very limited abilities and her vision and hearing are poor, so communication has its challenges. Mum likes to be as independent as possible and the carers respect that.
My father received excellent care from Alina Care for the last year of his life, enabling him to stay in his own home for as long as possible. The staff were polite and attentive. Some were very kind and befriended my father and alleviated his loneliness. Also, some staff were very helpful and supportive when my father fell and was very unwell.
My wife is severely disabled and requires carers three times a day. Alina’s carers are always kind and friendly and have built a strong relationship with my wife. Our main carer in particular has a great understanding of her condition and has a real special bond with her. Alina are always very accommodating if I need to make changes to our rota or ask for additional carers. I wouldn’t be able to manage without our carers and am extremely grateful for their help and support.
My dad sadly had a stroke and despite rehab, it left him unable to walk or stand. The family home was adapted but he needed 2 carers four times a day to wash and change him and Alina took on that role. They made it so easy to arrange and were friendly, professional and organised, especially the manager and another member of staff in particular. The care dad received from all of his carers was amazing. Their kindness and empathy not only for dad but also for mum was wonderful. They were always helpful and attentive to dad's needs and wishes and it took away a lot of the stress and worry for mum and my family knowing dad was being so well cared for. We later had to apply for council funding which was a nightmare and the manager stepped in and sorted it for us. They pretty much became part of our family for 18 months until sadly dad passed away in November. A massive and heartfelt thank you to you all.
My father has been receiving lunchtime visits from Alina Homecare for a few months now. He has Alzheimer's and can sometimes be confused and a little difficult. All of the carers are very good with him, they are patient, and they make him lunch and a cup of tea. Wash up the plates and sit and talk to Dad, try and calm him if he's anxious. They report on the visit every day on an app which tells how much food and drink he consumed and his mood. I would highly recommend Alina to anyone looking for care for their elderly loved ones.
The best team of all times.
I cannot speak highly enough of Alina Homecare. They were quick to respond with help when it was needed unexpectedly. All staff are polite, courteous and efficient. I would not hesitate in recommending them. Thank you, Alina Homecare, for helping us through a very stressful few weeks.
Everyone connected with my father’s care has been brilliant. Alina Homecare choose their staff carefully. They are bright, polite and hard working. Based on their experience, many of them have good advice and can suggest where to get further help when there is a physical problem with their clients. They notice things that could develop into a problem, such as hearing a wheeze on a client’s chest, or some soreness, that needs attention. I couldn’t have wished for better care for my father and have only stopped having it, due to my father moving. I have no hesitation in recommending Alina Homecare.
After my father died, it was obvious my mother's health and wellbeing were deteriorating due to Alzheimer's. Being 'old school' she did not want any help. I phoned the nearest care company and discussed the help required. Alina Homecare came in 2 or 3 mornings a week for personal care. Over time, her condition worsened so care increased to every morning and evening, showering and toileting, giving her as much dignity as possible. As her condition worsened, anger and frustration surfaced and at times physical aggression. Throughout the last six years, I cannot fault Alina. She is now bedbound; the care staff that visit, take the time to talk and try to explain what they are doing to my mum. They don't rush and even now give her as much dignity as possible, whilst making sure she is given the best possible care. The office staff are always friendly and flexible to our needs, even in these difficult times. I learnt more from Alina about personal care than from any other provider. Five Stars.
Alina Homecare have proven exceptionally efficient in looking after the needs of my elderly mum. They listen to her problems, are sympathetic and attentive and always keep in touch with me if they have any concerns. They also work on their initiative, regularly recommending anything they feel may assist with mums comfort. I can honestly say that I feel so much more relaxed knowing that mum is in their safe hands - and would heartily recommend their service to anyone needing first-class care for a loved one.
