They help with washing, dressing, with meal preparations, cleaning and outings out. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I am very grateful to the team for their consistently outstanding service! I really don't know what I would do without them! Thank you very much!
Home Instead have been caring for my mother since last June 2023. I have nothing but praise for the care she has received. She has 4 different carers, all of whom are friendly and care for her extremely well. My mum enjoys their company. Their help has been a godsend to me. I cannot recommend highly enough.
I have no fault with Home Instead (Reigate & Tandridge). The staff who came to help me were caring and kind. Regular checks are made to ensure that there are no problems. I have discontinued using their services as what is on offer is not really what I need. I have no hesitation in recommending their services as every attempt is made to be accommodating.
Exceptional service by carers and office staff alike. My parents always felt very comfortable with the carer, and this was very reassuring for the family as they had been reluctant to accept any help. The transition was very smooth, and the quality of service was second to none. My parents have now moved into a care home close by due to declining health issues, but their time with Home Instead was a very positive experience. Thank you!
We are very happy with the level of care and support that Home Instead offer mum, allowing her to lead an independent life, and allowing her family not to worry about her day-to-day needs. All our carers have been kind and considerate and Mum has enjoyed getting out and about, going for lunches etc.
Home Instead looked after my parents, Father 100 and Mother 83 years, for about a year at home. They were absolutely amazing! A truly caring service was given the whole of this time. Any health issues were alerted to us on the same day. Their main carer treated them so kindly and respectfully. We always felt relieved when she was there. Such an efficient service with an app, which was updated after every visit, so the family always felt well-informed. I live in Gloucestershire, so it was very reassuring to know how my parents were doing and could respond when necessary. From carers to administration - the service was outstanding and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
We needed to obtain carers to come in to look after my 100 year old father-in-law to help him get up each morning, shower him and get him dressed as my mother-in-law was struggling to do this. Right from the outset the team at Home Instead went into action and proved so professional. An excellent interview and assessment of their needs at the outset and both my parents-in-law looked on their principal carer as a friend and looked forward to the visit and the conversations. After each visit, the carer uploaded notes onto an app that we, and my wife's siblings, could view and take appropriate action. Regular reviews are undertaken including feedback on the carer's performance. All this was in stark contrast to other domiciliary care providers who either did not respond to our approaches or who when appointed failed to keep promised timescales. We have had to move my parents-in-law to a care home due to dementia issues but we and they will miss the interaction with Home Instead.
This wonderful company have been helping and caring for my mum for 2 years. We have found them to be exceptional with caring and organizational skills high on the list. My mum's carer managed to engage Mum's attention with imaginative ideas which helped with her dementia. When Mum could no longer get out of bed the carer sat with her doing puzzles, colouring and singing which made my mum's last few months bearable for her. Nothing was too much trouble. I did not think caring to this standard was available. Well done Ladies.
A kind, empathetic service provided by people who understand the hardships and are willing to listen and work with you. A first-class team who have put my sister's comfort and happiness at the centre of everything they do.
I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Home Instead's care to anyone. The care I receive is first class in every respect.
I like the help given to me and going to the clubs etc.
We are so pleased with our caregiver. Every effort was made to find a good match. Her conversation is great, and she really stimulates my mother whilst also being happy to do domestic duties. I love the fact that the carers are permitted to take clients out in their cars.
My mother has two wonderful caregivers who visit her regularly. She suffers from dementia. I frequently leave them copious notes about what I would like them to do and I return to find everything completed, despite the fact that I know my mother will have told them not to worry about it (she doesn't like to put anyone out!) and they are things that I often don't manage to achieve myself with her. Her mental capacity has definitely benefited from conversation with people outside the family and they listen patiently to her stories and repetition. I know the company try hard to match the caregivers with the client and this has worked so well with my mother. Communication with the office is always reassuring and responses are quick. I don't know what I would do without them, let alone how my mother would manage.
I have been very impressed with the standard of care offered by the people who have helped me. In the months they have been helping me, to care for my husband. It has been a very good support and very welcome. I would be happy to recommend them in the future.
I have found my carers very helpful and friendly. Not only when I go on shopping trips with them, but for the help, advice and the companionship.
Friendly, similar interests such as crossword puzzle and cricket.
I have found all the caregivers extremely efficient, kind, caring spotlessly clean and courteous at all times. I have been totally impressed by the services provided by Home Instead.
Contacted Home Instead to help my elderly neighbour that just needed to be driven to the local cafe for lunch and couldn't be more pleased with the wonderful staff who go above and beyond and are so genuinely caring and understanding. He has come on leaps and bounds as he has company now each day. I would highly recommend Home Instead.
This has been my first time arranging care. We've been using Home Instead for about a year now. I chose them by starting at the top of the NICE rankings for our location and I haven't been disappointed. From the outset, they provided help and reassurance at a stressful time. It did take a bit longer than I'd hoped to ramp up to the level of cover that I was looking for but the caregivers are very well-chosen and carefully matched with the client. They really do care and this comes across. They are patient, supportive and interested in mum, and the two-hour minimum visits mean that they spend a good amount of time engaging with her on each visit. As well as the "mechanics" of making sure that she gets her meals, clean clothes and personal care, I do believe that her cognition has benefited from having them there speaking with her for two or three hours every day. Any arrangement of this type takes a bit of work to fine tune, but I am very comfortable entrusting my mother to them.
My carer is an extremely good companion. We do crosswords together. She also takes me shopping. She even takes me when I had to take the dog to the vet.
