Bluebird Care has been providing care for my parents for almost two years. They have four visits a day which means many carers but we know all of them. Each work diligently to keep them happy doing multiple tasks, general and more specific. Key is my parents feel well-supported and are content in their 90s.
We've found the weekend support very helpful, there has been a wider range of activities that my daughter has been able to do with support. Every worker/buddy has been lovely. Thank you.
We have been very pleased with the care that my husband has been receiving. Staff are good at engaging and meeting his needs. They are friendly and supportive of my husband and myself. Staff at the office have been efficient and helpful. Regular reviews with managers have been appreciated, I have felt listened too and respected. Thank you.
Mum is very happy with the service and the carers, so as long as she is happy, we, the family, are happy. Anything for a quiet life. Mum enjoys the company first thing in the morning as it helps her to get started and ready for the day ahead.
Overall a good service which was slightly let down by the turnover of staff which my FIL found difficult. This meant that each of the new staff, of which there were many, had to find their way around the property and be shown where everything was. They were always kind, friendly and helpful.
Dad has received a good standard of care at all times. Communication is good and easy via the open pass app. The only reason I've not rated five stars is purely because we couldn't get the time of day for the morning visit that Dad would have preferred. Would recommend their services without hesitation.
Bluebird Care staff have provided regular, reliable and kind help for my mum. It started with a little extra assistance and ended with daily care, right to the end. She died one week from her 95th birthday with a Bluebird holding her hand the morning she passed away, until I arrived at her home.
I have no complaints with staff and support given. Happy with all staff and aspects of care.
We have been using Bluebird since April 2023. We are grateful for the support we receive helping to give my husband some respite from full-time care duties. The daily hour in the morning slot to get me up, washed and dressed is done with care and respect. The carers are timely and consistent and are keen to look after my welfare and any needs I may have.
This was the last month of service, which I terminated in November for family reasons, as my partner has numerous prejudices and phobias. I personally had no problems with your service - my experiences are elaborated below.

Bluebird is the first service provider I tried. It is well run and attentive, treating me with dignity and listening to any problems I or my family may have. I consider it gives very good value for money and have no hesitation in recommending it for others.
By and large, the service I receive is satisfactory, only occasionally does it fall down due to sickness and absenteeism of carers. The office staff leave a lot to be desired.
All the staff that visit and care for my dad, are so compassionate and treat my dad with the utmost care, are attentive to his needs and interact with him on a social level. They are always very respectful not just with my dad, but with my mum and our home. Thank you.
Bluebird and the carers they provided made it possible for my elderly mother to stay in her own home for the last years of her life. They provided a responsive service to changing needs and virtually all the carers were compassionate and respectful even when my mother was not in a co-operative mood. She was well cared for and the carers were able to ensure other family members could complement their role to still feel involved. This was reassuring for me living overseas at the time. I and our family are indebted to Bluebird for allowing Mum to retain her dignity and pass peacefully at home.
