View Full Details of UKG Care HavantThe team went far beyond what was expected, not only meeting my wife's every need but also making strong connections with her that bring her comfort and laughter. Their dedication and commitment are truly exceptional, whether they were helping with daily routine, sharing stories, or simply being a reassuring presence to her. For this, I am eternally grateful. Thank you to the carers and the team.
Amazing people helped us through a very difficult time. Couldn't have done it without these lovely carers. Every carer was kind, respectful and professional and took their time to provide the best possible care to my mum. Thank you.
At my time of life, I don't do reviews but UKG Care has been exceptional, from their office staff to all of their carers. My wife has help every morning. They all carry out all of my wife's requirements with a kind and happy manner. She looks forward to seeing them every day, which starts her day feeling bright and happy. One of her main carers should be called "Tina Turner" because she is simply the best.
Excellent set of carers, very grateful for the help and support provided by the whole company, could not have managed without them. Truly fabulous and caring, professional and reliable, would highly recommend.
This review should cover 2023/24. Whilst the care staff are generally excellent, the management of this company is not. I am constantly having to phone about the roster. Changes are made without confirmation or notification, not even a phone call. Last night was a typical example when we were expecting one carer and another turned up. Another issue is timekeeping. We expect someone at one time and they turn up at another. I once tried to talk to the branch manager about our situation and was promptly told to speak to the rostering department. It seemed beneath her to speak to me. Last night I had the phone put down on me under the excuse that the person suddenly couldn’t hear me. When I phoned back another person answered who had no trouble hearing me at all. I have now advised the company we will not train any more staff and that if anyone shows up for a duty who is new they will not be admitted. It’s happened too many times (over a dozen) after 8 months and still no regular team.
Very happy with the carers, very satisfied but not happy with my times keep changing all the time. If you haven't got enough staff, carers etc, would be a good idea to get the agency back up, don't agree with walkers with being winter, them getting wet worries me.
All the carers that I have had so far have been cheerful, chatty and helpful. I have no complaints.
UKG care has been my father's first experience of home care. His care started early August. He appears to have had a good experience with the carers so far. He looks forward to their visits and appreciates the social interaction and reassurance that they provide. The family have been grateful for the communications via a notebook and phone when required.
It is nice that he gets the same carers. With dementia, he gets confused, plus he seems to have trust in them but if he gets new ones he seems to play up so it's been nice for him. Just a big thank you to you all for the care you give him which makes me feel better.
Thank you for providing such a marvelous service. All your admin staff and carers have provided cheerful and efficient help. It is certainly helping me cope with the aftermath of an unfortunate accident.
Since UKG care have been visiting my father, he has been regularly eating lunch. He is also no longer getting skin breakdown in skin folds due to his specific washing cream application. There was some initial resistance about not needing any care, he is now looking forward to his daily visit. He was particularly impressed with a new carer who supported him when he collapsed. I have also been able to spend some time with my family at home.
I would like carers to not be so late getting to me. I get on very well with most of the carers and they are very helpful.
In general I have no complaints, I have found your carers most helpful and considerate.
The care support I received is excellent and I now regard the carers as my friends and would miss their daily visits.
Carers very helpful. Always polite and make sure everything is okay before leaving the premises. Polite and cheerful in every greeting.
My parents are very happy with the care provided. There were a few teething problems initially getting times and carers in place but it didn’t take long for everything to be smoothed out. Now we have a consistent carer and the times that suit my parents in place. Communication is good, generally, they know who is coming in advance. Overall, very happy.
On the whole, very satisfactory. There are one or two carers who I don't think are as capable as some. Most come in with a smile and are chatty, always ask if there is anything they can do like a cup of tea and the like. Thank you for your help.
I am very satisfied with the level of care supplied by the carers. They are all nice individuals and I enjoy their visits.
My carers have been very pleasant and efficient. Unfortunately, they have no control over what time they come to me, which is usually mid/late morning. I hate not being dressed and having a shower at that time of the day.
There was a slight change to our Friday sitter and we were a little concerned, but that was silly as UKG Care covered the situation very well and we were very happy in the end. Well done all.
