From first contacting Home Instead, the service my mother and we as supporting family members received was: Professional, caring, considerate, and valuable. The staff were kind and understanding, and my mother formed relationships with carers who soon became used to the way she liked things done. They listened to her (and us) regarding the little things that mean so much, especially when things were becoming increasingly scary due to our mam's memory failing her. Carers remained kind, patient, and understanding of her needs and kept us informed through the brilliant app. Also via direct phone calls when needed with mam for her reassurance. All in all, I can confirm that Home Instead made an upsetting/challenging time for us as a family easier to bear and we are grateful for the care and support we received. Though 'special mentions' are not allowed suffice it to say you know who you are and we will always be grateful for your care and time.

Before Home instead Mother was a lonely lady, just waiting for visitors to call. Since Home Instead she now is happier, enjoying regular company and help with daily chores and outings to local coffee shops, meeting people. This is a complete happy change in her life.

Can't recommend this company enough. Nothing is too much trouble, and the ladies are all friendly, helpful, considerate and punctual when visiting my mum. If one of her regular ladies are going to be away on holiday anyone covering is introduced in person by someone mum is already familiar with so it is never a stranger just turning up. I am kept fully informed of what has taken place during the visit including what medication has been administered, how much of her meal she has eaten and what mood mum was in via their app. These ladies do a brilliant job and it is very much appreciated as it gives me some time off without worrying about my mum.

As a family (and lasting power of attorney) you want a care provider that is competent and skilled but has the value set and compassion to apply those skills in a user-centered way. We want consistency and people who can develop a relationship and are totally trustworthy. Home Instead meets our expectations with back-office support that communicates well and always ensures we are informed. The app is a useful tool to check on care sessions and helps us highlight any issues quickly.

Have always provided me a great home care assistance which meets fully with my requirements at all times. Carers are dedicated to work and give confidence in the manner they provide the required assistance needed. Senior supervision, carer follow-up, website and contact to the control office if required is quick and easily available.

Home Instead have provided consistently good quality care to both my parents. They are always punctual and the carers have built a good rapport with both mum and dad. The team always provide feedback to the family, whenever there are alterations in my parent's situation/circumstances. Home Instead have been very responsive when requests for additional support have been requested by the family. We feel confident with the solid care that is being provided, supporting my parents to live independently, at home together.

I cannot praise Home Instead highly enough. Carers visit twice a day on weekdays and, without exception, are kind, patient and willing to undertake any task required. They provide much-needed reassurance as well as social interaction which is so important. Things have been quite difficult for my mother recently due to changes in circumstances and the carers have been really sensitive to the impact on her and so reassuring. They have also (probably without knowing it) been a huge support to me, whether it's a quick chat while I'm there or suggestions that might help make life a bit easier for Mum. My communication with the office is always straightforward and I feel I can contact them if I have a problem or need anything. Thank you for what you do, it's made a huge difference to our family and is enabling Mum to stay in familiar surroundings at home.

I contacted Home Instead after being let down by other providers. I needed a care company that would treat my dad as person and not a client. From the initial phone call to the first visit starting was about 3 weeks. A member of the office team came out and completed a consultation and chatted with Dad. The carers that come in are amazing, they are caring and compassionate and always go that extra mile for him.

The team were so helpful from start to finish for the short time they cared for my dad. Dad was always very independent so him becoming old and frail was not something I ever really prepared for. Then when things changed quickly, it hit me like a train. Day-to-day life changed for me and my family as we tried to juggle our own lives and his, so we reached out to Home Instead after a friend recommended them. Visits were put in place quickly. The staff member from the office visited us and guided us through the process. We soon felt relief as we got to know the fantastic team of carers who cared for Dad, as if he was their own family. We knew we could rely on them and trusted them completely. Dad initially wasn’t keen on the idea but soon began to enjoy their company and looked forward to their visits.

A friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and supportive team. Couldn’t have asked for a better level of care. They supported and cared for not only my dad but also myself. I was always asked how I was doing. They were supportive from the first phone call right through to the end.

Home Instead (Doncaster) provided care and companionship for Mum for three years. I would highly recommend Home Instead (Doncaster). The staff were always reliable in their appointed visits and if something needed to change sought agreement beforehand. The care professionals were very good with Mum and the client team accommodating and responsive to different and, sometimes often, changing needs. Communication with me was very good and personal. Home Instead were brilliant at dealing with Mum after a medical incident and did all the right things for her immediate care.

Home Instead Doncaster was involved with the care of my Mum for some two and a half years from September 2020 to May 2023. The reliability and consistency of the service was excellent. The scheduled visits to Mum always took place and she enjoyed the companionship and outings. From time to time, requests related to Mum arose at short notice and the staff always responded promptly and managed to accommodate these requests. My sister and I were particularly grateful of the care and immediate help given to Mum, by the Home Instead staff, after she had a fall at home. As my sister and I don't live close to Mum, it was a relief to have Home Instead involved in her care.

Delighted with the care provided for my mum and dad over the last few years. Everyone involved gave quality care, and communication with the team was excellent. Home Instead enabled them to remain living at home as 'independently’, for as long as possible. Very grateful also for the peace of mind it gave me.

I can highly recommend Home Instead Doncaster for their caring at home service. Transferring from North Yorkshire a home visit was set up and we were reassured from day one that they were a company able to work with us and look after both my parents with differing needs. The office staff have been great keeping us informed of changes but the most praise must be for the individual caregivers who come into our home and treated my parents with dignity, compassion and friendliness. Mum and dad had a great relationship with the carers and they supported us whilst dad was in and out of hospital until he passed away last year. Mum had formed bonds with the carers who helped her through this sad time to see familiar faces was a blessing for which we will always be grateful. I have no hesitation in recommending the company if they need the support that I did.

It is nice to have someone come each day. I have three different carers; each one has a different way of working - all of them are bright and pleasant, doing jobs around the home as required and doing lots of jobs. Preparing vegetables for dinner, changing and making the bed, and dealing with washing. I intend to continue with Home Instead.

Home Instead have provided care for my grandma for two and a half years. Not only do they meet their normal duties, the care staff go beyond. They welcome additional tasks with open arms and no problems. My grandma is ninety-five and a very independent, organised and routine woman but is unable to fulfil her ways due to age and mobility issues. However, the staff accommodate this and ensure what she used to do, is still done with grandmas dignity remaining intact. After searching for a number of weeks, Home Instead provided the most well-rounded service. This allows grandma to choose her visit times, in which the hour slots allow for medication, washing, meal prep, changing and cleaning assistance. Alongside, engaging in social interaction numerous times a day which have led to true friendships. The office team are friendly and organised which makes liaising a relieving experience. Also, having access to the app is a great addition. Would definitely recommend this service.

Home Instead looked after my mother for 7 years. Mum had dementia and chronic osteoporosis which lead to her health deteriorating considerably over this time. The team at Home Instead were brilliant - the office staff were very on the ball and the billing system ran efficiently. The management team were excellent keeping me up to date with any issues or changes to Mum's scheduled. We liaised frequently to ensure that the care was perfectly tailored to her needs. The care team itself was wonderful. They took so much time and effort to look after her; taking her flowers, chocolate, games and cakes. They really cared about her and her well being. Over the last 12 months my mother was bed-bound but was always clean and smelled delightful! The family built up a strong relationship with all members of the Home Instead team. I would strongly recommend them.

Home Instead Senior Care (Doncaster) have been very good in terms of providing excellent care for my mother. They have always been reliable and adapted to changes we have needed to make. The carers have engaged well with my mum and have been very warm and caring. My mum has enjoyed having them.

I could not have had a better experience with the team. They are very communicative, truly understand my dad and his needs and have enabled him to stay at home. He is 89, has mobility issues and is strong-willed! I highly recommend them.

It has been a difficult year with our father being diagnosed with Dementia and him accepting this too. Home Instead (Doncaster) have helped us greatly and worked with us to help our amazing father and even at times when it was challenging, they stuck with us to assist our father and now things are currently stable it is thanks to a combination of medicine, amazing carers and family support. All working together to give our father the best chance of living with Dementia comfortably and happily. I would not hesitate to recommend the team, thank you for your support.
