View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Maidstone)Helping Hands visit my 90 year old mother six lunchtimes each week and have been doing so since September 2022. My widowed mother has vascular dementia and mobility problems, I put out a request on our local Facebook community page for recommendations for help and I received a couple of very good reviews about Helping Hands. In the first instance someone from Helping Hands visited my mother and me to discuss her needs, which primarily involved preparing her main meal of the day. I purchase frozen microwave meals which needed to be heated up, as my mother was unable to follow the instructions. Every 6 months a safeguarding visit is made to ensure that my mother is happy with the service. All the staff are wonderful and my mother looks forward to their visit. The office staff are very professional and helpful and do a wonderful job in sorting out the rota each week and making modifications when emergency appointments arise. There is a website were you can read the carers comments about each visit.
We have been using Helping Hands Home Care (Maidstone) for a number of years now and cannot praise them enough, the level of service and attention to detail is second to none. Our regular carer is really great and my wife, who has Dementia, looks forward to her weekly visits. Despite her condition, they do have some laughs together, as I do with her as well. Our carer is always respectful and fully understanding of my wife's needs and has been a great help to us both. I would go as far as saying she now feels like one of the family and I would have no hesitation in recommending Helping Hands to anyone who is considering a care organisation.
I am disabled and find Helping Hands are exactly that, the ladies are kind and cheerful and make you feel better as soon as they arrive, making sure you are comfortable before they leave.
We are very pleased with the reliable service provided by "Helping Hands". The care assistant who visits us on a weekly basis is very understanding and relates very well to my husband (who has dementia). She treats him with dignity and we feel that the management at "Helping Hands" assessed our needs very accurately and took trouble to find a care assistant who would be a good match with us and meet our needs.
Helping Hands Maidstone offer a first class service, excellent assessment was carried out very quickly and care package put together. Very organised and efficient carers, not only for my husband they even care about myself as my husbands carer. Excellent management staff, always responsive, any problems or changes dealt with very quickly. Total trustworthy carers. I would highly recommend Helping Hands team in the future.
