Every one of the lovely carers from Alexandra Care was fabulous. They were happy to work with me, my sisters, or our Dad to help us keep Mum at home for her final few months, as she so desperately wanted. For this, we shall always be so grateful. All the carers were so friendly, kind, gentle, and willing to help; they were sensitive to Mum's increasing frailty in her final weeks/days and helped us keep her well cared for and safe. It was in her final days that their guidance, experience, and expertise came into play and it was amazing working with such competent ladies. Even in those final, difficult days, the carers brought a little smile to Mum's face with their cheery care, compassion, and kindness. Dad and I were so glad to see you each day too. Additionally, we were so grateful for how swiftly Alexandra Care responded when it became clear Mum needed double-handed care visits in her latter days. Thank you all for making the last few months possible, you are all angels on earth.

Very friendly but respectful efficient. Always with a ready smile and cheerful word. Willing to help with extras when asked, clears up before leaving.

Always really friendly to Mum, nothing is too much trouble, from all the carers, also amazing talking to office, with Mum in and out of hospital, so putting in place carers when Mum comes out of hospital, never a problem always there to assist.

As a new client my wife has been very satisfied with the standard of care she is receiving. She finds the carers very sympathetic and helpful. They help her out of bed, move to the bathroom and give her a wash, shower or hair wash as she requests and then help her get dressed and move downstairs. She finds them gentle and likes their friendly and helpful approach.

Care has been provided to my father from Alexandra's Community Care for a few months now. They've all been very good (despite my father being quite difficult about accepting only male carers!). Thank you!

The care your staff provide is always very caring and professional, also the correspondence between myself and your office staff is excellent. Having used other companies before, I must say your company is the best by far. Nothing is ever a problem.

I am just writing to say a massive thanks to all at Westcountry and Alexandra's, my mother is now going into full-time care and they have been with us and supporting us for around 18 months. Through some very hard and challenging times, they have always been there with smiles and warmth doing the hardest of jobs. The Penzance team have been our rock and are a part of the family. Special thanks to several amazing members of staff in particular. The manager has managed a fantastic team and needs maximum credit! Their commitment has been quite humbling. For those who need help in this difficult stage of life, I cannot recommend enough, many thanks.

Our experience with Alexandra's has been excellent. My mother was discharged from hospital after a fall and is in the final stages of her life. She chose to come home with my 100-year-old father. The handover to Alexandra's was smooth and she has been very well looked after for the past month. The family has worked with the lovely care workers to smooth out issues and establish a safe and comfortable routine. The supervisors have overseen this in a gentle and hands-on way. All have done more than needed and within the care plan ensured that my mother is comfortable and her domestic needs are in place. Carers are reassuring with my dad and we have created a good environment within the house. Many thanks to all involved in the care of my mother.

I am very grateful for the professional and excellent care given to my 95-year-old mother which brightens her day and is always given with a spirit of friendship and kindness. I also appreciate the thoughtful support given to myself as the fulltime carer. Thank you Alexandra's for accommodating our needs and your positive attitude throughout these challenging months.

Alexandra's Care has been amazing this year during the Covid-19 crisis. My mother-in-law has been so happy with the service and the daily visits. So impressed with how their care has operated this year especially, but throughout her care. Thank you to all the staff.
